For context, allow me to show you the summary for this - While fighting in a gruelling battle, Noctis falls into stasis but is forced to push his limits and warp in order to save Prompto's life. The Crystal is not happy with him, and wants him to suffer. And suffer he will.

This is one of the first Fanfics I read of Kalterna and my gosh. I GUSH!!! It's so awesome! I wanted to make this as a sort of tribute! I really donno where I would be without amazing fanfic writers out there who are literally saving lives. I'm so grateful!

Kadaj be like..

My excitement level was a 10/10 when watching the new video announcing the FFVII: AC collab with FFBE: War of the Visions this morning. What a time to be a remnant fan! :D However, the end of the video only showcases Cloud and Tifa, so I went back and reviewed the video. From what I understood, Kadaj was only going to be a boss in the event stages and Sephiroth was coming to be an obtainable unit in a week or two after commencement. This disappointed me immensely, down to a 6/10. :/ However, this article me is giving me hope that i misunderstood. Please tell me this article is correct! It's a shame that I remember Advent Children far more clearly than Advent Children Complete, because the added scenes with the Remnants, that I often forget, do a very good job of indicating to me how much thought they were actually putting into shit. Or, at the very least, how much Kadaj was actually leading.

The scene with Denzel running out, thinking it's Cloud coming home, only for it to be Yazoo. And Yazoo stops to look back at Denzel and chuckle. That scene seems random as shit.

But then you remember--thanks to the novel--that the Remnants can read minds. There's specifications to that power, such as getting more info/a better reading by coming in physical contact with some as opposed to merely skimming the surface, but it's a thing they can do.

So the Remnants come in contact with Cloud. And Kadaj picks up pretty quickly that Cloud probably has no idea where Jenova is. Thus why he calls Rufus all, "Bruh." And then we got Yazoo driving around, just happening to find the exact street Cloud lives on. And encountering a kid, who at that moment, is thinking about Cloud. A kid who also knows about Tifa and Marlene. So then you got Loz, going to the church, and immediately being like, "Where's Mother?" And then he plays with Tifa for a bit and then he gets a phone call asking him to "bring the girl."

So, even though they have only encountered Cloud once so far, and arguably all the other characters, they already know that Marlene is important to Cloud and they should kidnap her to bring Cloud to them for a little chat. Loz has no fucking clue what materia is, he just yoinks the chest with Marlene and delivers them both to Kadaj.

I just... They're like 2 weeks old, Kadaj technically older, and they are zooming with the plans and shit. They are catching on to shit so fast. If they'd had any other purpose other than to find Jenova, the world would've been fucked.
