Hello. I'm an Appalachian on the east TN side, and our area got turbofucked by Helene.

This is an aid request to get flood mud samples tested in the wake of the hurricane. Please donate what you can. Link here.

This is a singular test that can provide information to improve health outcomes for many people whose lives were upended, done by a local group called CWEET who will remain in the area far into the future trying to help.

They are water activists are trying to get a full panel done on mud samples from the flood but still need $4k. this will help us know what we're dealing w for the long haul. it's time sensitive as samples degrade.

it is more expensive than tests regularly conducted by the org are, because they're testing for way more stuff because of the sheer gnarliness of what we already know got sucked into the water.

many new health conditions are naturally going to arise in our population thanks to Helene, and these samples will arm us with vital knowledge for what's coming. I can guarantee CWEET will loudly communicate this info once they have it, and continue to into the future.

This is how I felt today when I found out Final Fantasy XV: War for Eos is being closed down next week. ;0; I’ve been playing it since day 1, and love playing with my guild mates. Such little warning, and only given on Discord and the official site — not in-game! It’s so fun just to tap around on when I’m anxious or waiting for an appointment. I’m really going to miss it. :(
