Williams fans need to sit the fuck down and need to start taking comprehension skills lesson. He’s not laughing about the Williams news because he thinks he’s above that team and he fumbled the seat or whatever the fuck y’all are saying, he said he laughed because the media keeps saying he “signed” with a team every other day.

Because it’s true, the media has said he’s signed with different team in every other race weekend and every one takes that speculation - that’s all they have btw, speculations and rumours- and just runs with it.

Y’all were upset he was gonna take Logan’s seat and now when there’s a possibility of that not happening y’all are still mad and that too because y’all lack comprehension skills. gtfo. 🙄

I love y’all, I am one of y’all. But please bffr. Saying he fumbled not only the Mercedes seat, and the Williams seat (because according to y’all that’s why he’s laughing about the rumours 🫤…) but also the Audi seat and he’s going to Haas. He never fumbled Audi btw. They still want him. The whole deadline thing was all a speculation that both parties have denied.

I think we should focus more on how Williams doesn’t have spare parts and how Logan’s driving with the 2023 car parts and still doesn’t have the new upgrades rather than being mad about thinking Carlos was laughing at the team when he really wasn’t.

Hi!!

So this is for everyone who just wants to know what all that means in basic terms-

So, (and this is a direct quote from the released article) the main goal of the new 2026 regulations are 'advanced sustainability technology and safety'.

Part 1

They've redesigned the power unit, all the fuels used will be 100% sustainable and battery power of the car will also increase, which basically just means that cars will be able to be much quicker. If u want to get a little bit more technical: they've made some changes which have led to nearly a 300% increase in electric power of the battery unit, which means that energy being saved when drivers are braking has been doubled and so when drivers do use the KERS system (battery power) they'll have much more speed.

Part 2

There will be no DRS. HOWEVER, they've introduced a system called the 'Manual Override System' which gives drivers a burst of battery power when they are in the 1 second difference gap with the car ahead of them. (So basically the same as DRS just electric power instead. I don't know if it's gonna be faster or slower than what DRS provided though)

Part 3

They've made cars smaller and lighter by reducing the car's wheelbase (distance between front and back wheels) and width, which just means cars are gonna be even faster due to less weight. They've also reduced the width of the tires as well, I honestly don't know how much effect this will have as it's just a 2.5cm/ 3cm difference.

All in all, downforce is lessened by 30% and drag by 55%, which again just means cars are gonna be faster.

Part 4

They've made it so that the front and rear wings are now movable (the wings main purpose is to generate downforce, which pushes cars down onto the track and allows drivers to take corners at high speeds while still being in control. However, this also means that they are unable to reach their full speed during straights due to the downforce being generated. Btw the front wings also protect the tires from the dirty air of the car ahead as it will otherwise create more drag) in 2 angles. When the first one is used, there will be increased downforce and so cornering speeds will be greater, and the second one will make it so that there will be less drag and therefore cars will be much quicker on the straights. This system also allows for closer racing to occur between cars. I think they've made specific zones for it as well, but I'm not sure.

Part 5

They've made some changes to the actual chassie (structure) of the car to make it more safe for drivers.
