Okay, so I need a little bit of advice. I am 98% sure that I am non bianary/demigirl, but I’m not entirely sure. It honestly feels right, but I think what’s holding me back is my family’s view on trans people. (i.e. mentally ill, broken, need help, disgusting, confused, etc.) So I talked with my therapist about it and she thinks it’s a good idea to talk with my parents and let them know. I’m having that conversation with them today and I’m a little worried at their reaction. I’m also not sure if they’d be okay with or let me change my pronouns to They/Them and my name to Nic instead of Nicole.

So the reason I’m 98% sure that I’m no bianary or demigirl is because I’ve never felt quite right calling myself a girl/female so I’ve often wondered if I might be more comfortable identifying as male but that doesn’t feel right either. So I’ve been doing more research into it and I think either non bianary or demigirl feel so much more correct and comfortable.

I’m just worried about my parents reaction and was wondering if anyone has any advice or can help with explaining what both non bianary and demigirl are. I’d be super grateful for any help, thank you. 😥🙏🏻

Got my hair done today by my friend, it was supposed to be platinum with red roots but the red bled out and turned it pink. Lol I love the results anyways, though.
