You and Bucky had both been having baby fever. Well to be honest fur baby fever. And so here you and Bucky were, going to the animal shelter.

It was loud and smelled a lot like wet dog, but there was a certain charm about the place. Bucky held your hand in his soft, human one. He gently pulled you along as you walked to the front desk.

The lady at front was sweet and gently pointed you two in the cat direction. (Bucky had had a pet cat when he was little and wanted another kitty.)

The lady chuckled softly as she saw bucky’s eager steps. You squeezed his hand playfully.

“You’re like a kid in a candy store James”

He just playfully rolled his eyes. “I’m just so excited. We get to be cat parents!”

His enthusiasm made you giggle. It was contagious and soon you felt your smile widen.

Bucky pushed open the door and immediately squatted down to look at the cats roaming around. There were several all ranging in size and color.

A light orange cat walked straight past Bucky to the water dish making him laugh. He looked like he was in heaven.

Bucky sat on the ground and began to lightly pet any of the cats that came up to him. Several seemed fascinated with his metal arm.

You laughed as a few cats tried to gnaw on his metal fingers and went to explore the floor.

You began smiling as you saw all the cats interacting with each other.

“Excuse me”

You jumped startled by the noise. The lady from before stood behind you a calm smile on her face.

You blushed and smiled “yes?”

“Is there a specific cat you and your husband are looking for?”

You glanced around the room “my husband has his heart set on a white cat. He had a little kitten when he was a boy and he was solid white.”

The lady’s smile faltered slightly. “Well we do have one. But most people pass her up. She’s been here for a year”

She motioned for you to follow her to the corner. Asleep against the wall was a fluffy white cat. She was beautiful and you couldn’t fathom why anyone wouldn’t want her.

And then you saw it.

You dropped to the floor, squatting next to her as you gasped. “Bucky!”

Bucky’s head perked up at his name. He seemed confused but quickly made his way over to you.

He looked down at the cat and you saw his heart visibly melt when saw.

She only had three legs.

The little cat opened her eyes. They were so pretty and she looked so calm. You gently reached a hand out towards her and held it for her to smell.

She sniffed it and then gave your finger a single lick. You were already in love. And so was Bucky.

He kept looking at her missing back leg. He gently reached out with his metal arm and ran a finger over her hip. She purred slightly.

Bucky smiled. “I think we found our baby”

You giggled “she’s just like daddy.”

Bucky laughed at that. Suddenly his eyes lit up. “We can get matching prosthetics!”

You giggled and the worker laughed. “I’m glad she’ll finally get a happy home”

You turned to her and whispered, careful to not spook the cat. “What’s her name”

“This is alpine”

Bucky would definitely not entirely understand most things under the trans umbrella, but would always support people and try to respect them & their pronouns.

If you came out to him he'd be super proud of you. He'd never admit it, but he'd be proud of myself, and honored that you trusted him enough to tell him that.

He's a sweetheart.

Despite being super touch adverse because y'know... Hydra... trauma... being consistently mindfucked... Despite all that, he'd want some form of physical touch just to let you know he's proud and happy... Bucky hugs.

hair

loki would be obsessed with you hair and would probably be touching it with any chance he gets. he would always offer to wash it and braid it, style it or to even just run his hands through it. It would also work both ways, loki would love it when you played with his hair.

this man is touchstarved. he will never be able to keep his hands off you, no matter where you are. he'd love hugging you from behind and nuzzling into your neck, taking in your sent, holding you as he sleeps, holding hands. He also would always have you in his arms or lap.

Before loki does anything, this being touching or doing things for you, he would always ask, unless he knows 100%, you are okay with it. he's very strong on consent and always listens to your feelings and checks you're comftable even if you say something is fine. If you change your mind or refuse he will immediately stop and make sure everything is okay.

Loki would love reading to you, reccomending you books and would constantly be ranting on about books he's reading. When you can't sleep, he'd often let you lay against his chest as he reads you an old book from his childhood while running his hands through your hair.

He barely sleeps and is always awake when you wake up. He loves the night but also the sound of birds at the crack of dawn. Although he doesn't sleep himself, he will always make sure you get enough rest.

Loki loves kissing you, his favourite places probably being your neck, thighs, hands, forehead, cheeks, and his overall favourite your lips. Even a peck is enough as long as he gets his kisses. When he's touchstarved, he won't get his lips away from you.

he loves praising you, and he loves it when you say nice things to him, especially after his neglection as a kid. He will always make sure you feel loved, and it goes both ways. He would buy you the entire 9 realms if he could. Loki would spoil you every single day. Whatever you wanted, he would buy for you, and you'd always be getting small gifts off of him

princess treatment

loki would unshamefully do everything for you, even in public. If your heels were hurting he'd take them off, carry them, and then carry you to wherever you both need to be, if you had laces, he'd tie them up, if you were unwell he would honestly slave for you, you'd have breakfast in bed, a hot water bottle and literally whatever you ask him for. He'd probably make you some chocolate covered strawberries as well.

music

he loves music and deffinatly has a viynal and cd player in his room. He likes all genres depending on the mood he's in, and he is the type of person to play his music loud enough for the whole of Asgard to hear. You've introduced loki to many 'midgardian' artists such as lana del rey, amy winehouse, artic monkeys, the weeknd, billie eilish, and rihannah and he loves them, especially the older artists such as Bowie, Queen, ABBA, Elvis and Harry James. Loki also has quite a soft singing voice himself, and you'd often catch him singing or humming to songs. After a lot of persuading, he'd sometimes sing you old norse lullabies his mother used to sing to him to help you sleep.
