Peter Krause is confirmed for appearances through the end of the season. Seems likely characters will have moments with him either in flashback or with a sort of memory/ghost Bobby before we're done. I do think we'll see more goodbyes.

thankful for it, the episode was beautifully except for the choice of “creatively” killing bobby off. having some proper goodbyes in the next 3 eps will help a little but i unfortunately think the story will not recover and develop properly past this. additionally i did get invested in 911 because of how committed they were to keeping mains alive and this has thrown me off.

i dont know where the show is heading. so far from interviews, eddie’s reaction is off screen, after his mess of an arc which doesn’t help. i currently don’t see how bobbys death will fuel a whole new season 9 with the current writing style as grief will have to linger in every interaction.

i’ll still be creating fan content and designs till i lose 100% of my interest, i’m just gutted we’ve lost bobby and peter which arguably held the show together for 8 years. the casts reactions to this choice is devastating as well. in the end, if 9-1-1 sinks, it will not be the first fandom where fan content thrives and carries the fandom.

this entire ending has disregarded and disrespected the relationships and family bobby has built. he’s more than athena and buck, not having eddie or proper goodbyes and conversations with his team is disappointing. the 118 was always bobby nash’s and the choice of writing him out now has killed the show at its peak. the show just filled up with more plot holes and grievances, i don’t think i can stomach season 9 going forward.
