"My lungs are. Too small for all of my feelings."

My baby doll is named Baby.

Mommy says I’m creative and Mommy is right

About everything, so Baby must be a unique and creative

name.

Mommy is right about everything, like the

Amount of milk I want to drink with dinner, and that this skirt

Will look so pretty on me, and that chocolate candy is better than

Fruit candy, and how to help me get clean without

Getting water in my eyes.

I don’t know how to not get water in my eyes.

Mommy never lets water get in my eyes, and

She doesn’t let Jonah get water in his eyes either while she washes him

In the plastic tub on the kitchen counter.

I watch her carefully to learn her secrets. She lets me

Have a paper towel to clean Baby while she cleans Jonah, and there’s

A lot of pressure because Baby can’t even

Close her eyes if water gets in them and it hurts.

A little water gets in Baby’s eyes but it’s okay because

I wipe it off and I kiss her to say I’m so

Sorry Baby Iloveyou

Jonah doesn’t get any water in his eyes, but Mommy

Still kisses him and says Jonah Iloveyou.

I’m glad I kissed Baby because if Mommy did it then that’s the

Right thing to do because Mommy is right about everything.
