If you want someone to agree with what you're saying or have them subconsciously find you more likeable, nod and maintain eye-contact while speaking to them. Their brain will read your nodding as you agreeing with them and they will likely follow social behaviour patterns and nod back and become more lax. Just don't go overboard on the head nodding or you will look crazy or like your jamming out unnecessarily.

It is said if you want to make a positive impact while shaking hands with someone make sure your hands aren't cold. Warm hands have been proven to leave a positive impact on the recipient, freezing blocks of ice less so. Although cold hands could just mean you have a problem with your nerves or blood circulation or a problem with tissue damage in your hands or fingers...or you could just be cold.

There are three categories of drugs. Depressants, such as alcohol, reduce neural activity and slow body functions. Stimulants, such as cocaine, caffeine, and some ADHD medicine, excite neural activity and speed up body functions. Hallucinogens, such as LSD, distort perceptions and evoke sensory images in the absence of sensory input.

There is a phenomenon in which we always have the clearest memory of first and last things that happens, while the middle becomes more vague. Use this to your advantage by being the first or last person in an interview or audition and make a positive impact and the chances you will get your way rise significantly.
