Is it worth existing? And keep on hoping you'll find the true one??
dont know if this ask was meant for me because i am nowhere near eloquent enough to make this sound meaningful.
but i think it's worth existing! i think every part of the human experience is worth it. even the parts that suck. don't know when i read it, but there was once a post that went like "sometimes i pretend i am already dead and asked god to send me back to earth to experience every emotion all over again." i think about that post so often.
getting to leave an impact in someone else's life - even if it is something small, like commenting on someone's shoes and making them smile, all of that matters so much, and is worth existing for.
but existence shouldn't be wasted on waiting for love, in my opinion. i know so many people that are desperately looking for someone to love them, and i think it's the wrong approach. my life shifted when i stopped looking for love, and just tried becoming the person i could fall in love with.
as dumb as that sounds. i used to struggle so much in social situations (still do!!), but i started killing the "oh what if it goes wrong" part of my brain by yelling "CARPE DIEEMMMMMMMMM" and just going for it. i hid from so many things in life because i was convinced my existence was a nuisance to others. but fuck that mindset.
talk too much! laugh too loud! cry when you're angry! hug your loved ones because existence is gone much sooner than you'd expect! there's no medal for nonchalance!
anyway. i probably could add a lot more to this, but i'm afraid it'll become more incoherent than it already is. all this to say: EXIST AND DO IT PROUDLY.
