Okay first to comment on the first portion, I 100% agree!! It’s really distasteful (atleast to me) to have Buck just be some grump who doesn’t give a shit about Dallas (And vice versa for Dallas). It gives character and humanity to both of them, and I love that! I feel like Buck cares about Dally a lot. (Like.. a lot more than he’d ever admit.) I feel like when Dallas first moved to Tulsa he was a bit younger.. and on the streets. I feel like Buck probably heard of Dallas (because of his reputation that he grew fast), and when he met him he reminded him of himself. I feel like he wanted better for Dally, because he didn’t want Dally to end up like how he did when Buck was a kid/teen. ALSO, for extra stuff.. when Dallas dies, I feel like Buck got in such a rut. And to add the snake headcanon to all this.. Dallys snake (who is named Ally btw.. idk it just feels right.) is all Buck has left of Dally!

So because Dally cared so much about her (the snake), Buck knew he couldn’t let the snake be left alone to die or be un-taken care of. Buck spent all his free time with the snake, and got very close to her! ANYWAYS- sorry for that long ramble lol..

ALSOOOO!! Id imagine that Dally, yes, definitely raised her from an egg! He brought the egg with him to Tulsa from New York, and it gave him something to care about. Something he didn’t despise. I’d also imagine, just for kicks, that Ally (the snake) really liked Johnny aswell as Buck. So in that way.. Dally, Johnny, and Ally were kinda a trio 😭

Hiya Sunny! I just had an idea/headcanon for Dallas, and just knew I needed to tell you! So for my "Gang and their pets" drawings I was thinking of what would work for Dallas.. and though of a snake! I can totally picture Dallas with like.. a ball python or something! Snakes are very misunderstood creatures, so I feel that a snake fits Dally so well. I feel like Dally can relate to snakes, though he'd never admit it. He doesn't really fit into crowds, and even when he sneaks in, nobody likes him. Just like snakes.

i’ve always said dally would have a cat for some reason (named lil’ dal cause ofc he would name it after himself lmao—i also have too much lore of that cat and steve’s cat diesel that i had him to have but anyway) ibut ve never thought about him with a snake! i kinda like that a lot…i never thought about dally with a snake but i lowkey see the vision…i love that so much wait.

for some reason when i picture dally’s pet snake i picture this albino boa constrictor i held at school once when i was a kid…i can see him with a little snake too! he keeps telling everyone its a baby snake and that its gonna get ten times bigger…he’s been saying that for a year now and it hasn’t gotten bigger lol—maybe buck even got it for him cause he wanted dally to have some sort of responsibility? i’m thinking about it too hard, i didn’t mean to infringe on your headcanon, sorry :( dally with a snake is a cool idea tho! i like it!

No no, don't apologize!! I actually REALLY like the idea of him having an albino boa constrictor, that is such a Dally pet, he would TOTALLY have that!! (Btw.. if this sounds sarcastic, its not, I'm being serious!) And the idea of Buck getting that for him?? AAAA! Tears! That is so nice, and it also adds to the "father figure Buck" headcanon too! (Which is one of my favorite Dally headcannons!)

maybe some stevepop since i’m soft for them,,,or if there’s a specific headcanon or smth you like you could draw that?? again im not quite the best at coming up with ideas that aren’t added onto my own heap of ideas but id say stevepop cause stevepop will always be my answer…maybe sodapop with a puppy dog and steve with a kitty cat (black cat x golden retriever pairings are peak) or something??

! Important Update !

Heya guys. Okay so I've been kinda leaving you all in the dark for a bit here, but as you probably can see.. I haven't posted in awhile. While I said I'd be back I didn't realize that a wave of depression would hit me. I haven't been doing okay, and I haven't for awhile. I'm really sorry that I keep dissapearing when I say I'm coming back, but I'm just not doing okay right now and I just physically can't force myself to draw or post. I've struggled with depression and GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) all my life, but its coming back really strong right now and I just need to focus on thriving. I'm sorry again, and I hope you all understand and wont be to disappointed. This isn't a forever goodbye, its just a "see you later".
