Good atmosphere, but don't be afraid of the noise. It is the ideal place to have a drink with friends.

🍺🧂One of the old bars of the iconic rue des Cannettes near the Saint Sulpice church. Opened in 1952, this place has remained unchanged over the years, with a clientele that includes students as well as local residents. 🪑A very popular bar, it is a typically Parisian place that has kept the authenticity of the old days: small squares on the tiles, rooms that are a little bit hidden, old posters of Parisian exhibitions and of all France... you feel good there!

Like any typical Parisian bar, there are good cheese boards and wine, with a basement room for dancing.In the summer some tables are set up in the lively rue des canettes and the atmosphere is warm and cheerful. In short, there are good memories to be made here 🌃

La Sardine 🐟

32 Rue Sainte-Marthe, 75010 Paris Métro Belleville Line 2 & 11

📍A few minutes walk from Belleville, La Sardine is a bar where I often meet my friends. It is located on the pretty Place Saint Marthe, where there are also several other bars

🌞In summer, it's very cheerful, the terraces are often packed and the atmosphere is very festive.

🍻Beers cost 5€ and 🍴there are several tapas to share which are good! The cheese boards are generous 🧀 and there are also boards with charcuterie 🐖

A typical Parisian bar as I like them and also very nice to celebrate birthdays 🎂

Salvo Olio e Vino 🇮🇹 🥪

One of the most delicious sandwich focaccia I ever taste in my short life 🤤

📍Located on the lively Place d'Aligre (XIIth arrondissement) - one of my favourite places in Paris - Salvo Olio e Vino is a very nice little Italian grocery shop with amazing products from all over the country. There is also a selection of wine available in bulk 🍷

👨🏻‍🍳This place is hold by Silvio, a Sicilian agronomist that also makes focaccia sandwiches right in front of you. 

🏷️ On the blackboard you will find more than 15 different focaccia that he prepares with love and lots of olive oil. All the cheeses and ham that he put in the focaccia look excellent

I tried the vegetarian sandwich with artichokes, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and the Provolone (a slightly smoky, strong-tasting cheese), tomato tapenade.

🌟 It is just incredible!!!!!!!! If I could, I would go back every week 👀

💰One focaccia sandwich is between 6.4€ and 10€ For the two we ate, we paid 13€

🦚La Parade is a very nice restaurant to have dinner with friends. Similar to ALMA restaurant, it is a little more fancy and less crowded 🗒️The menu offers plenty of plates to share (≃10€ each) with many vegetarian and gluten-free options 🥟The vegetarian egg rolls, vegetarian banh cuon and farm pork ravioli are delicious with Asian inspiration 🍷🍸The restaurant offers natural wines & cocktails with or without alcohol 💸A perfect place to have dinner with friends, but be careful, prices can rise quickly!

Le Louxor 🎬

🌃 The Louxor is one of the most beautiful independent cinemas in Paris! This building was built in 1921 and was then a nightclub between 1983 and 1988. Afterwards, the cinema was abandoned and reopened in 2013. Today, the building is very beautiful with neo-Egyptian style 🇪🇬

With a great history, a rich program, it is one of the most beautiful places in Paris to go to.

🍹After watching a film, head to the top floor of the building for a drink on the terrace

La Maison européenne de la photographie - MEP 📸

This is the museum I have been to the most times in Paris!

🖼️ It is an exhibition centre for photography, with about 4 exhibitions per year. The themes and the artists are very diverse, from internationally renowned works to emerging photographers.

Probably the most delicious onigiris in Paris 🤤

Located close to my work, I go there at least one time per week. Even if there is often a quite long line, don’t be afraid it’s pretty fast and you won’t regret to wait a bit.

🚶Only take away - Le Jardin du Palais Royal is 1 minute by walk ⛲

There are plenty of choices including several vegan ones

My favourites: curry brown rice, radish and tuna with mayonnaise

As a side dish, I always take a little packet of edamamen those are so goood and it’s only 2€!

🍱For lunch, you can ask for a 9€ bento box with 2 Omusubis of your choice, Japanese fried chicken (or wheat pancake), edamame and Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette)

This corsican restaurant is hold by very friendly guys who would help you to choose

🍴There are delicious tapas to share with everyone. Vegetarian or not, you’ll have plenty of choices and everything is good. I can tell because I tried everything.

Among my favorites: 🍝Gnocchi with truffle cream and Corsican tomme 🐐Crunchy goat cheese and Corsican honey 🍖Mashed pork ribs 🐟Fried smelts

🥃After dinner, try the liqueur of myrtle, liqueur that is very popular in Corsica and they also serve cocktails

🌟The menu changes regularly but honestly I have never been disappointed... Everything is good!!

🏇Bouzkachi is the Afghan national sport

This excellent Afghan restaurant is difficult to spot when you walk in this lively street of rue des Dames but believe me it's worth it to go there

🤵The waiters are very welcoming and can help you to choose from among all the dishes

🎃For vegetarian starters, the Borani kadoo is delicious. Next time I will try the Borani banjan 🍆

🍃For the main course, there is a big mix vegetarian that is incredible. You can share it if you also ordre starters but if you don't, take the whole thing!

🐄 For meat eaters, I heard that the ravioli stuffed with beef and tomato sauce are exquisite

📍The restaurant is pretty close from Les Caves populaires 🪵🍷 and Le cinéma des cinéastes 🎞

🥞A great address to eat delicious crepes in the covered market of Batignolles

🧑‍🍳The cook is a very friendly Breton, who loves to talk a lot and get to know you🗣️

🥬All the products are fresh and the cider is also excellent.

🧈For dessert: you can order a crêpe only with butter, it’s soooo good!

🌳Right after, you can go for a walk in the Parc des Batignolles or the Martin Luther King Park

One of my favourite wine bar located in a nice animated street of the 17th arrondissement with many restaurants & bars around

👯Don’t go there too late because it’s crowed pretty early, specially on weekends

🍻The bar is always vibrant with an atmosphere that looks like the old Parisian bars of the time with wooden tables and people drinking at the counter. 🍻🍷Beers are quite cheap & wine also. But be aware, some bottles of wine are quite expensive: the best if to ask before order. Most of them are natural or/and organic wine 🌬️

☕️The coffee is 1€ so is the hard-boiled egg 🥚 as in the good old days

🧀A cheese board is 8€

🎉I've never done it before, but I’m sure this place is perfect to stay a whole evening there!

🧘‍♀️I also go there from time to time on Sunday afternoon, the best place to finish a weekend without being depressed 🌈

A really nice place to eat lunch if you are walking in the 17th arrondissement 🧑‍🍳The restaurant is not very big, the atmosphere is cosy and you can even see the cooks at work!

🥪Sandwiches are really good and there are some vegetarian option such as the delicious Falafel and Kimchi Bun (+ 1€ for cheese)

Do you still have room in your stomach? Take the cookie 🍪, it’s sooo good!

🍇They also sell wine from independent producers that I did not try yet

💸Lunch formula: dish & drink (such as bissap juice 🥤) & dessert = 13.5€ Just a sanwich = 7.5€

14 Quai de la Seine, 75019 Paris Métro Jaurès Line 2, 5 & 7 bis Métro Stalingrad Line 2, 5 & 7 One of my favorite cinema in Paris because of its location, a nice area and good films

📍In the lively Jaurès district, the Mk2 Quai de Seine is located along the Bassin de la Villette and is at the crossroads of great places to party!

👀The program is abundant with films for the general public but not only and also events by theme which change regularly. You have to look closely! 

No film makes you want to go? 👉 Check out the program of the MK2 Quai de Loire just across the Canal

🍻Bars next door : Le Point Ephémère / La Péniche Antipode

🕺💃To go dancing ? La Rotonde & Le Point Ephèmere again (but closes at 2 am on weekends)
