thank you for acknowledging the very unsubtle phallic symbolism in that jinx and silco scene, technically it’s obvious but everybody who points it out gets called insane lol loved your comment about the cigar and ashtray, I never thought about it that way👀
Three objects that are closely associated with Silco are cigars, an injector, and a knife. Make of that what you will.
The other way he holds it is also...something. (The second image is actually the one from the scene in episode 4. I used a screenshot from episode 7 in my other post because I don't like the puff of air animated into the earlier scene and because the shot where his legs are spread is still more suggestive. I am sure the innuendo would have been off the charts if he'd wrapped his fingers around the injector like that and also not crossed his legs.)
Oh...you know what else Jinx handles oh-so-casually during that scene in episode 4?

If you want to know my favorite suggestive detail along these lines, it's this one:
Jinx decorating his ashtray is cute, definitely. But in the context of everything else about their relationship? Sure, Silco - go ahead and stub your cigars out alllll over that thing.

#way before i watched this show i had distantly heard about these two characters#and i had no idea how old either of them was#but i somehow osmosed that jinx was basically this age and this aesthetic#like the bottom right one feels exactly like the mental image i had of her at the time#god that's so cool#her adorable bells and tutu. the bright happy coloring pages. his hand on her pigtail lol#and her arm and gun threading through it and the ending in the smoke. ouch! yay!!!#arcane
