what are you most proud of with your writing assignments in this class, this semester? 

I think I am most proud of my writing assignments by how I was able to creatively complete certain ones and the details I learned that could mold the writing into a more professional looking essay or project. Throughout this semester I have had issues with my writing whether it be how I believed that my writing was bad or if it did not seem to look and sound proper in the context of the assignment. I do believe that with practice throughout the semester I have gain the knowledge to make my assignments look like a college level writer wrote them and that makes me prouder than anything.

what are you most proud of with your writing process?

I am proud that my writing process has changed throughout this semester. I am proud that I was given the opportunity to challenge myself and to refine how I go about completing writing assignments. My biggest thing is that finding the right tone and style for specific writing pieces based off the audience I am writing for.

what do you appreciate most about your learning about web writing?

For me I really appreciate learning to write for an audience and changing my style of writing to fit specific audiences. I do believe that taking this course has allowed me to further increase my writing knowledge and become a better writer and student. Going forward even if I do not write for web content, I still appreciate getting the opportunity to challenge myself in this class.

What questions do I have to successfully complete this week’s assignment?

My one questions is what I should do for the question asking about peer feedback/ collaboration. For me throughout this semester and I don’t know if it was like this for others but I do not think I have enough examples of peer feedback and what I should do for this answer?

share an example of your favorite television show or movie - how does that show/movie help you work through this project and understand angry fandom? 

For me one of my favorite shows was the original teen titans cartoon show that aired on cartoon network. For what ever reason and im pretty sure I could get that answer really quick but the final episode just ended in a cliffhanger, the ending scene was just a cut to white and then the show ended. I remember as a kid i was super upset with this because ending a show like that seems lazy and really pointless. Maybe there was a ratings issue or something along the lines where it was no longer profitable but to end a series that lasted 5 full seasons like that made me angry. With that I wanted to portray the same type of emotion I felt when that happened to the fictional cancellation of the "favorite show".

Let me get this straight, its on us that the show got cancelled and not because you guys did nothing to promote the show??? Why should we be punished for something that we did not do??!! YOU did not support the show. YOU did not try to change this outcome. YOU wasted all of our time with this choice.

What assignment questions do I have to help me successfully revise?

For me when I saw that it was asking for us to revise our posts but to make them seem like posts that would be posted on the platform we chose, should we also add images and hashtags to them to make it seem familiar to the platform? For me I chose to use Tumblr as the platform, so should I use hashtags and images since for our posts we tend to do that?

explain how audiences connect with each other on social media over their love for a show 

For me I want the connection between fans to be that of those grieving together over a shared connection. Something like reflecting and remembering good times in the show, their favorite moments, characters, and storylines. I want this just like my last post about the reaction to feel genuine and emotional.

explain how you are connecting your audience reaction to your version of Favorite Show 

For me I wanted to use some of the stages of grief in the reactions of the fans. Seeing that grief would be an emotion that people would go through if they lost something they loved. I think that it would give a genuine feel to how a fanbase would react to their show being cancelled out of no where.

how did content creation go for you? What did you learn that will help you write about your tips & tricks?

For me I just recorded myself play like 10-15 minutes of a game and used that recording for my guide. My problem is that thats all I really can do, my conclusions from my project only gave me one so I really cant do much else but record 3 short gameplay videos.

My issue is that what I focused on in my analysis project only gave me 1 conclusion and what I should do for the HTWG tips since I only have 1 conclusion to draw from.

What does my final revision process look like?

For me my final revision process looks like me taking any feedback from my draft 2 and adding onto it with the feedback. Also there are things that I left out on draft 2 since we were told to kind of do that with certain things, I had use the XU boxes to state certain information and pictures that would go in place of them. But really to me I am just refining what I had written originally so that it is more presentable as my final draft.

How will having a good revision process help you moving forward beyond this class?

I think being able to have steps to critique and refine my writing will give me ways to do the same in other fields of work. I think that Ive been going at my other works with one "draft" and leaving it at that. I should have multiple revisions to anything in my life just to make sure I am doing it to the best way possible. Haven taken this class and getting lots of feedback from not just my fellow classmates but also Dr.P which has been super helpful in doing these assignments.

How are you rethinking my style to design my H2WG for a content creator audience?

For me I am looking to be way less formal and have a more friendly type of vibe since our data aalysis style was super formal. Due to the fact that our data anaylsis style was formal I need to change my writing format to better suit a audience of creators looking to gain tips rather than researchers.
