@mopillow I'm not familiar, but from what I've read on the system, they're highly maintained machines, even rented.
Also, someone's who can't afford to owe one, I guess 😅

How much does the sex machine cost??
The less expensive one is about 23.000 US dollars (maintenance not included).
One of the most advanced can be from 100.000 US dollars or more (maintenance not included).
You can also rent them, that's about...1.500 US dollars per day. They are not insured.

Dear Nick from 2119,
I hope to find you in good health could you tell me if we finally understood quantum mechanics or are we still confuse?
Kind regards...well you know
Hi, I’m fine and relatively in good health, thanks for asking!
I would love to answer your question, but unfortunately, I’m no physic so I can’t really say much to the argument without sounding like a complete idiot or worse. I wish I could tell you more but my job doesn’t involve quantum mechanics. Just our system and its data security.
If you have other questions about anything else please don’t hesitate!
Wish you a great day!
Nick

nick how go you have sex in your time? :)
Good question.
There's the traditional way, but we also have machines dedicated to that activity.
They're pretty advanced anthropomorphic machines with averagely functioning AI's. Not robots, mind you.
They're really expensive and they can be customized in any way you want.
I'd say people still prefer the human x human interaction tho.

Hola Nickito, cómo estás? Yo espero todo bien 🙂 Que pases en él futuro? Yo creo que tú me comprendes, no? La mía pregunta si: por favor, tell us a story about you. I would love to know what your day looks like or also a tale about something that happened to you, so to have an idea of what yours times are. Thank you for your attention and your time! Yours
Oye hermano! Por supuesto que te entiendo! But only thanks to the instant translator of my pad 😉 thank you so much for your question and I'm so sorry for the late reply.
Alright, let me tell you a little about me.
I work for a company called S.C.A. (senior citizens assistance) you see, in my society, older people are the majority of the population, but many of them don't feel comfortable with the most recent technologies, which is mostly used to monitoring their health. My work consist of give assistance to these people and make sure that their data are correctly uploaded to the system and most of all that all of their data are safe. Unfortunately, like your days, older people are also the most vulnerable to scammers. Unfortunately what they risk is not their money, but their life. Robbing them of their data means that they can't be uploaded to the system anymore, and that means they can't receive medical assistance when needed.
My job gave me the opportunity to learn a lot of things from the past. So many people from the far 2050, or even 2040, they told me so many things. You guys sure had your share of taught times, and that's what inspired me to try this simulations. There's this woman, Greta, she's currently 107, she was born in 2012 and she told me a story about a virus hitting the world in the early month of 2020. She told me about the quarantine and how she, as a child, didn't realize what kind of trouble the world was living. Things like that are unthinkable in my time.
My life is pretty ordinary and there's nothing really special about it, but if you're curious, please ask me anything you like, even more specifically.
Again, I'm so sorry for the late reply hermano. Please be safe.

Hello Nick! Is Tumblr still a thing? Or other social media platforms?
Hi elkebabo! Unfortunately Tumblr doesn't "exist" anymore, in the sense that if you look for it you can still find some of its data on the system, but it's not available for users anymore.
We do have some social media platforms, one of the most popular right now is called "me". It owes its popularity thanks to one of its many feature, and that is that its create a real time copy of you and it can be seen on the system, like...if you change clothes or hairstyle the copy will do that too. You can also interact with the copy of someone else to a certain level, like asking "what are you doing?" or "want to meet later?" and the "me" AI system will answer accordingly to the account's owner personality and habits.
It's pretty cool. I don't use social media that much tho.

Dear Nick, how do you write from the future ? I read about time traveling, but writing on a blog? Is that a gift of yours or is it something anyone can do? Thank you
Hello again friend, love the question.
Ahh...time-traveling...you know, it might interest you that the thing that we have today that is close enough to "time traveling" is based on simulations and virtual reality.
The system puts you in a program in which you're not only able to see but to interact with the people and the place of the era you have decided to go. Interactions with humans in virtual reality inside some of these programs is still a bit cranky but overall is still realistic, thanks to the AI's power of calculating and predicting human behavior in specific circumstances.
The program that I'm using to run this blog is essentially the same, but without the virtual reality interactions. I uploaded into my pad a program that allows you to simulate the "internet" of your time (we don't use the word internet anymore) so, you're just part of a highly advanced simulation that took my pad back to time. Feels pretty realistic tho, doesn't it? So yeah, anyone can do it. Thanks again for your question.

Nick from 2119
Have you ever wanted to reach someone from the distant future, and maybe have a nice talk with them? Just to know what our choices have lead humanity to? I’ve imagined it so many times… and that’s why I’ve been working on a side blog I created, it’s more than a game than anything. But I’ve been reading lots of studies about how the world is going to be 100 years for now. I’ve taken notes and got a general idea. So, here I present you:
Nick 25 years old, single. Born November the 17th, 2094. Answering your questions from 2119.
Ask whatever you like: have we reached Mars? Is humanity still healthy and happy? What about Earth? There are still animals on it? What about food?
Want to know more about Nick? About his work? His family? His hobbies? Of course! He’s pretty eloquent so don’t be shy.
I’ll try to be as coherent as possible, but I’m not a scientist (nor Nick of course) so maybe regarding some arguments I won’t be as reliable as you may want. But I’ll try.
There’s a lot to say, because a lot have happened.
Go ahead, Nick is more than happy to answer and greet you, from 2119.

Hallo again Nick! Just bcuz I’m too stupid to do the math—how old are you?? Also I heard that nowadays in technology there’s been a chip being made that can hold all your info in your skin like near your wrist?? Has this technology in the future been used and if so, has it been advanced in any way? Is it a new risk to be “hacked” and have we gained the ability to properly freeze people/restore them to life (I forgot the name of it) after death??
I'm 25, class of 2094.
Being hacked is the most dangerous risk. Entire nations works diligently and very hard to maintain the system protected and secure from hackers attack. Wars are fought this way nowadays, tho there's hasn't be a true breakthrough the system for what I know. We wouldn't be here otherwise.
It's something we are terrified of, I have to confess that. And I just don't understand why you know? Humanity is still very, very, stupid.
Oh I heard about that, and they were used for some time...but the problem was that using a chip that was constantly at everyone and everything disposal was particularly dangerous for your privacy. The system we use today gives you the power to decide if you want to share your information with let's say...some companies in which you interact. A chip doesn't give you that, because it's simply and passively there. Not to mention mostly of the basic information someone need, let's say, to make a trip, is possible just with facial scanning and recognition.
Also, there was a high risk of infection, so image the money to constantly change and be sure that the chip was in good condition. Ugh
Oh you mean hibernation? Yeah, that went nowhere. But hey listen, you know what the average life span is? 130-140 years. My grandpa is about to celebrate his 105th birthday.

Ooo a time traveler! I’ll try not the ask too much but I’m really curious. What is school like for you guys in the future; are some topics/courses taught differently in the light of some new ideas/research? How affordable and accessible do you think schools have become in the past 100 years?
Hi! Nice to see you, please ask whatever you like.
Schools and education in general is the most accessible system there is. You can choose to study whatever you like, wherever you like. And it's for everyone. It might be a bit more affordable if you study at home, but I assure you that there is no kid who can't afford it in the entire world. There is, in fact, no physical building of the school. There's a building in which the students can choose to meet to study and listen to the AI together, but as I said it can be wherever you want.
School, from my personal experience, had always been not only a place to learn, but a place where I could decide for myself and where I could find friends and looked forward to go. Courses and topics are taught from AI's that are extremely advanced. We don't use grades anymore, students collaborate together to learn and test ourself. We encourage the mistakes because only then there's improvement.
We work on the field. We are taught to make our creativity our strongest weapon.
But careful, those changes came only in the early years of 2070, for what I've heard schools haven't changed so much until then, and unfortunately it wasn't as affordable as it is today. I was really lucky. What we learn is that... nothing is impossible, nothing too out reach. But it must be for the good of the most, not for the singular.

yooo nick! what's up? how is the global political situation over there? wars? do nation still exist? 🏳️🌈
Yoo bro? How's going? I'm good.
Global political situation uh? Well... let's say it's...stable. But mistakes...BIG mistakes has been taken, especially between 2070 and 2080. Those were some taught times, both political and environmental. From what my parents and especially grandparents had been told me, it felt like the Earth was about to collapse on itself. There was "The drought" of 2053, and in 2076 an Earthquake so devastating hit one particular place, but it was so bad the whole world was influenced by it. It was HOT, and...a lot of people had died.
Then, in 2088 there was the invisible war. Here's the thing: in my times every single human being is basically a data on the system. For example at the end of each and every day, my phone upload to the system EVERYTHING that has happened to me, from the serial number of my "Vtol" to the number of beats my heart has made. This has a lot of positives but...a lot of negatives. The wars we fights today are virtual fights, in which one nation tries to overcome the other with a massive hacker attack, one that would delete banks account, robbing billions of people of their lives. Some nation got really close to that in 2088 and for the love of me I have no fucking idea of how they managed to survive especially with the security system they had at the time.
We take privacy really, REALLY seriously and from what I know, personal data are well protected and strictly confidential (that's kind of my job too, and I take it very seriously)
Nation still exists...but how much does a border count when I can reach the other side of the world within 30 minutes? Walls in that sense has never been so thin. Thanks again for your questions

Hello 👋 Nick from the future! I was wondering abt how space technology is now? Are we at Mars yet or the moon 🌙?? Do we know aliens?? What about our space bases/forces?? Also, have we found world peace yet??
Hello friend! Thanks a lot for your questions, I was waiting for them and I can't wait to answer them:
Space technology has vastly advanced from your times. Just to let you understand, my first school trip was to the moon, and I was just eight. From what I know, it might sound pretty amazing for you, but for us it's everyday reality. I remember it was a bit of a boring trip. But let's get some facts down:
The very first expedition to Mars was launched between 2039 and 2040. It was an amazing job from what my grandparents told me. But it would be another 10 years before the first functioning settlement was established. Now on Mars lives about...one billion humans. There are cities that are way more advanced than the ones on Earth and it's one of the most tourist attraction for vacation. I'm planning my third vacation on Mars.
The moon had gone to a similar process, but it was simply too dangerous to establish a permanent settlement on its surface, considering there's no atmosphere to protect the surface from asteroids and UV ray so, in 2053 the moon has officially become a space slipway. In which, thanks to a orbital elevator, ships are supplied to began their journey to Mars. Apparently it's way more convenient this way than departing directly from Earth.
No aliens yet, but... we're still hoping. Who knows.
I'd like to say we have finally found peace...but there still war on Earth, tho it might be different from what you image. Let's say there's peace today, but it's a really, REALLY, fragile peace.

How is your house, Nick from the future?
Hello! I'm sorry but what exactly do you mean? I'll try to answer anyway, if I miss anything please let me know.
My apartment is fairly smaller than average (30 mq). One bedroom, one bathroom and kitchen. I live alone though, so it's enough. I spent most of the day outside anyway.
Much more like my phone, my apartment is in a way, completely autonomous. It learns from it's inhabitants and as such it regulate temperature, energy consumption, sensors set illumination automatically and meals are printed calculating the time I need to get back home after work or get up. It clean itself, and...pay itself. My house system is linked to my bank account.
If you have any more questions, go ahead.

What is the most spoken language in 2119? What app do you guys use, if you still use phones. What is your favorite recreational activity in 2119? 😊
Hello! Thanks for your questions!
Let's see...I'd say the most common language is Spanish closely followed by English and Chinese. But following the auto translating-conversational device languages have somehow lost their... let's say importance. As a lot of other things.
We do have phones, but they're much more than that. Each device has his own AI and that makes the device completely autonomous. Its study you, your habits, your routine and it's function as such. We don't exactly use apps, if we need the phone to do something, it simple does under our vocal guidance. Companies still develop programs or games, but they're simply uploaded to the system.
There are a lot of recreational activities in 2119 but my personal favorite is without a doubt "The Time Machine". It basically puts you in a system from back in the day, and you can see and experience the Earth from the prospective of thousands of years back. It can even be uploaded into virtual reality experience, but it's a bit pricey.
