people are way too comfortable being dismissive of children and teenagers. if a toddler comes up to you and starts explaining skibidi toilet lore or if a 13 year old asks you if you want to hear about their mha ocs you have to listen with utmost sincerity or at least pretend to. this is the only way you will get into heaven.
#i have a story about this!!#few juniors joined my club and us in the exco were having a lot of trouble connecting with them#and these are like 12-13 year old girls so. hard to get them to open up#anyway i’m welfare so i talk to them the most#and we’re talking about music and this one girl starts going on about how she loves musicals and led zeppelin#i too love musicals and rock music so i talk to her about it!#flash forward to when i’m stepping down and i give her a card and she starts crying and hugging me because i was her favourite senior#so it really doesn’t take a lot to be a positive influence for kids!! just listen and talk#plus i remember being like 12 and extremely desperate for my seniors attention cause i thought they were cool#it’s just a nice thing to do

saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”
me personally it’s a hard cutoff at 75°F. don’t need anything more than that thank you 🫶🫶🫶
#36C is the highest i can go while still being outside#the good thing about living on an island is that it doesn’t get as hot as the mainland#highest this year has been like 40C i think that was hellish
