I'd like to confess that I've included a secret hamster in pretty much Every Single layered file uploaded on patreon since 2019.

Do you know what we said to ourselves when we started the kickstarter? We were building some gameplay systems for The Hunger, and it was hard work. We said: "Boy, this thing is gonna take years, and it's already burning us out. We should do a ‘small thing, quick-like’, as a break. What if we made a definitive/director's cut of The Remainder? Shouldn't take us long, right? Four months should do it? Six tops?"

Fast forward to fourteen months later, we're finally going to launch it. I recently learned about a rule of production planning: Take what you think a project will need, and multiply it by pi, and you'll get the actual time you'll spend.

The math checks out.

Let's see just exactly how much we expanded the game, shall we?

It started at around 145,000 words, now it is 171,000. You can do the math there. Some of this is new deaths, some are new ending variations, and some just generally fleshing out things that were too thin or adding more flavour and interest in what we found to be bland. Now it should be a feast through and through.

On top of that, we pretty much re-wrote the entire thing over via several editing passes.

We added five new artworks, revised around twenty, a few of which significantly, composed four more ambient tracks, and added 467 unique sound effects.

Also, the new price will be 27.99 usd. This will not affect those who already own the game. Currenty the game is on sale on Itch so it’s a great time to grab it before the price increases. ^^

Once the new release is out on steam and itch.io, we will start producing the physical art, the prints, linocuts, CDs, and original artworks.

It will likely be another few months before all those are done and shipped out.

After that we're onto the next story in Taldun: The Longing.

Hello, hello friends :D It's been a hot minute! I'm sneaking in here to say I uploaded Mirage Crown on my own web site so it won't be forever buried on just Tumblr/Twitter and instead have a proper home! I also uploaded all the Teledji arts I could find on my PC ...and they were a lot. Seriously past Denny sure had a lot of energy and I wish she'd share with current Denny XD

Reblogging one of my favorite artwork of En'to to remind people that @geisterfuchs and me switched main over a year ago.

Ilwe'ran and Carina roleplay arc is finished and while they are available for RP, they aren't our main characters anymore.

If you see En'to Tecil and/or Birka Tecil in your friendlist, it's normal as those were previously named Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa and Carina Hlaiwa.

I should have made an announcement when it happened but it slipped my mind, don't hesitate to come to us IC and OOC, you'll get a funny boy with a scattered mind and his really lovely smart and talented bodyguard instead of a workaholic always serious boy and his calm and sensitive partner.

Be warned though, flirting with the bodyguard may lead you to be bitten by the funny boy. Literally.

I began to play Stray Gods, @geisterfuchs and me keep wondering if the writers had access to En'to's background.

It has been a week and I just can't get enough.

I'm reading and following the evolution of the writers and now actors strike. I'm listening to the fear and this comic comes to mind.. In reverse.

We're living in such a sad world, what is fun to test and made you laugh makes it hard for me to smile. It gets harder over time. Nobody is to blame, none of you are to be blamed. The cruel answer coming from Hollywood is giving me the chills, they know the writers situation so well that they predicted exactly when the strikes will stop.

This is abuse of power.

What will happen when writers, actors and so many more will disappear as they will be no more needed for their work ? When will people worry more about what next ? Will it be in 150 years when Meryl Streep will appear in a movie looking like she's 20 ?

I wonder, and I'm scared.
