THINGS A NEW RP PARTNER SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME.
FUN NEW MEME HERE! WRITE 3-5 THINGS A NEW RP PARTNER (OR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE) SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU AND TAG 3-5 PEOPLE! IT SHOULD BE RELATED TO RP AND NOT TO OTHER INTERESTS. (ALSO DON’T WRITE YOU ARE A DORK/GREMLIN/ETC. THIS IS TUMBLR, OF COURSE, YOU ARE)

1: I have not been active, even though I want to be.
2: I am doubting whether I want to make a new blog so I can have a new start, because I really mis RP.
3: RP has been a big part of my teen years and sometimes I feel like bringing back some old muses I used to play back then.
4: I am such a big fan of writing with all of you people. All creative brains, different ways of writing. It is lovely.
5: I would like to say I agree with @mollysmythtymsyllom on this: I am a fan of having multiple threads and mixing my muses in each other’s lives. There is a good chance that if you interact with one of my muses, another one will show up or be brought up.

Harper
“Honestly?” Was this a good idea? Probably not, but Harper was done with likes between her and Lily. Lies and secrets were what got them where they were now. “I didn’t think I’d ever see you again.” She looked away when Lily looked at her. She couldn’t make eye contact while she was showing her vulnerability. Her eyes found Hayley instead. So, they weren’t dating after all. Hayley ha saved Lily. That sentence raised a lot of questions, but Lily was clearly being vague for a reason. Harper let out a quick laugh through her nose and was about to make a joke about Lily actually having a female friend, but Lily beat her to it.
“Don’t,” Harper said quietly when Lily called her beautiful. “Don’t make tonight harder than it has to be.” Again, she refused to make eye contact. Why was Lily flirting with her? Did she know how much it was hurting her? Did she know how much Harper had loved her? Of course she didn’t. Why would she? Harper sighed. “Why… why did you come back over here?”
“I didn’t think I would see you again either” Lily stated, her voice losing it’s power a little more along the sentence. Saying it out loud made it all the more real. “Why I came back?” She had almost replied that she had never left New York, but then realized that it was about her returning to Harper just now. It was as if, out of the sudden, reality hit her. She swallowed and tried to look for Hayley in the crowd, if only to look elsewhere than at Harper.
“I don’t know” She said, knowing all too well that it was a lie. She just didn’t even want to go there, not with her thoughts and certainly not with words. This was all too confronting and her way of dealing with that would in general be to run, but this time she froze to her spot. She couldn’t leave Harper, not again, she’d never forgive herself.
A silence fell, and she was fighting her thoughts. She wanted to say it just as bad as she actually wanted to keep it to herself. She didn’t want to take the risk, but she was going to. “I came back because..” Lily stopped for one second, hesitating. “I-” Miss you, still love you, can’t let you go, can’t walk away; so many options for her to choose and yet it seemed impossible to speak. “I don’t know.”

Harper
Lily was blunt yes, but she also seemed to have the tact to look away after asking the question. Harper brought her hand up to wipe her eyes while Lily started looking out at the crowd. “Uh, yeah a little,” Harper admitted. There was no point in lying about it. Lily knew her better than that. She didn’t have to tell Lily why after all. She took a deep breath and looked out, watching the other party goers with Lily.
“It doesn’t matter,” she said simply when Lily asked her what was up. It wasn’t like anything good could come out of Harper saying that she had made a huge mistake when she left. “Your girlfriend’s gorgeous,” she said, hoping not to sound jealous. She also hoped that Lily would take this as a change of subject and not assume that the other woman had been reason for Harper’s tears.
“Why?” Lily always tried to avoid making assumptions. It was a way of assessing a situation in the safety of one’s own head, but in the end all it would be was a mere guess and Lily just wasn’t afraid to ask. But she did frown at the mention of her girlfriend and she also did turn her head to Harper. For a split second her facial expression was clear -she was definitely wondering if this was jealousy she was hearing. “She’s not my girlfriend”
Hayley had not been hanging around Luke much this evening, but with a trained eye Lily had seen them make small gestures all night. The looks when they passed each other, a brush of their hands. It was not something Harper would notice, probably not even something she’d bother to look at, but boy she should know.
“She saved me” She wasn’t going into details, it was unnecessary. She wanted to show that Harper was not wrong to see affection, love and caring between Lily and the gorgeous brunette, but it wasn’t romantically. Lily made sure to steer clear from anything romantic, she didn’t want to date anyone. Whatever was going on with her feelings towards Harper was something she did tend to ignore. “I know, weird right, me and actually having a female friend”
Lily hung out with guys, it was just how’d had been. Girls were complicated, bitchy and backstabbing, she preferred men over them. For a long while she believed she didn’t need women around in her life at all, but Harper fucked that up a little bit.
“You’re also gorgeous” She stated dryly, her eyes once again on the by-standers. She was bold today, but saying what she thought definitely wasn’t new. “But that’s nothing new”

Harper
Harper felt a small heat rise in her cheeks when Lily spoke of her baking. Was she flirting? No, that was just wishful thinking … or maybe it was just masochism. Lily had no reason to flirt with her. Not after the way Harper had left things between them. Again, her inner voice had to remind her that it took two to lose touch. Harper may have walked away, but Lily hadn’t tried to reach out to her either. This wasn’t all Harper’s fault.
Harper nodded. So Lily did still live in the city after all. That meant that there might be a chance for them to run into each other again. She was about to ask where in the city Lily had moved to, when a very beautiful woman cut in on their conversation. Harper did her best not to let her immediate jealousy show. She put on a fake smile and nodded when Lily said that they’d talk later. Then Lily and the beautiful stranger were off to the dance floor. Harper could only watch for a couple seconds before the pain became unbearable. She excused herself from the party, finding the bathroom and falling into the cliche of the girl crying in the bathroom at the party.
It took Harper a while to regain her composure, and even longer to make it look like she hadn’t been crying. Then after taking a few deep breaths and psyching herself up in the mirror, Harper made her way back out to the party. She restocked the cupcake table, then found a quiet corner, not really wanting to interact with any of the partygoers. She fought the urge to look for Lily in the crowd, not wanting to see her with the other woman. So when Lily reappeared, Harper jumped a little bit in surprise. “Oh, uh, hey.”
It was easy to fall back into familiarities and forget the two of them had not been speaking for ages. Despite everything, she still felt the comfort of the other’s presence. With that also came the ability to sense the other’s mood. And even though she might not be as good at it as she used to be, she just knew. “Have you been crying?”
A bold way of putting it. Lily had always been a bit blunt and often said what she thought. The last person Harper would probably want to talk to was Lily, but she didn’t really think of that. She moved to lean against the wall next to Harper and watched the rest of the partygoers move around the party. The conversations seemed more loosened. This was not a party where people got smashed, but she could still see the alcohol work in the details of this image.
Watching the crowd was a bit of a coping mechanism. It kept her busy so she didn’t have to stare at Harper the entire time. It was a way to be there, but not be completely over Harper. “What’s up?”

Ryan
Fake your death … The idea had never crossed Ryan’s mind before that moment. Fake your death. Could they really do that? Would Scott fall for it? She’d still probably have to leave the city for a while, maybe go live with Max in California for a few years. Maybe take Danny up on the boat idea, if Danny was actually serious about that… She would have to get clean, which wasn’t going to be easy, but… If they could actually pull it off, Ryan might be able to actually get free of Scott. If they could actually pull it off, Ryan might actually have her life back. The idea was thrilling, and terrifying all at the same time. “Could it really be that simple?” Well, no, she knew there was nothing simple about faking a death, but still. “You would do that for me?”
“Simple.. no” Oh hell no. Danny did not even know what she was saying, she had no experience with these things. Her life was simple, she always steered clear of trouble aside from the fact that she pulled Ryan into her life. What she did know, however, was that this was a risk, a big one. It would be worth it though. “Always” She muttered under her breath. She’d do anything for Ryan; no matter the consequences. “I know someone that can help, i’m sure we can make it work. I don’t want to push you, Ryan” Danny clenched her jaw. How could she ask this of Ryan? It was insane. “I’m sorry, I just want you out of this life”

Harper
Harper shrugged. “The bakery’s doing well, but you probably could have guessed that since those are mine,” she said pointing over toward a table of a variety of different gourmet cupcakes. Lily said that she was good, and something inside Harper churned. It was wrong of her to hope that Lily was harboring any leftover feelings for her. Just because Harper never got over it, didn’t mean that Lily hadn’t moved on. Harper swallowed and glanced around a small panic sinking in when she realized that Lily might have a date to the party. She laughed when Lily said that the crowd was a bit too elite for her. It was good to know that there was still some of the old Lily in the woman in front of her.
Harper struggled to find more words. She couldn’t think of what else to say, but she didn’t want to leave. She didn’t want to have to say goodbye to Lily again. Even after all these years, it was clear to Harper that she was still in love. Yes Love. She had come to terms with that after the break up. They had never said it while they were together, but Harper knew now that she had loved and lost Lily. By the time she realized it though, by the time she could look past Lily’s … well past, Harper had assumed that it was too late. Then it didn’t matter how much she wanted to reach out to Lily, too much time had passed. Then, once about a year ago, Harper had tried to find Lily, but she couldn’t. Lily had moved, and her past landlord had no record of where she had moved to. “I, uh, so are you still living in the city?”
“I should’ve realized they were yours. There is only one person that can bake like this” Was she flirting? She didn’t know. She had to be very careful where she put her emotions when it came to Harper and analyzing herself wasn’t going to help her either. So she just pushed away the thought and went with it, with everything.
“Yes, i’m still in the city” Sort off, she spend an awful lot of time with Hayley and Luke and the rest of the group. People who lived out of town and near the woods. “But I moved to a whole other area” Returning the question made no sense. She knew where Harper lived, she knew where the bakery was and she was very up to date on that. Despite the fact they didn’t speak anymore, didn’t mean she had forgotten all about Harper.
“Lily, can I steal you away for a dance?” Hayley appeared almost out of nowhere and to be honest, Lily had no clue whether she was relieved annoyed about the brunette showing up and interrupting their conversation. She wanted to talk to Harper, but didn’t know how to. Maybe she needed a break to process this for a moment. Lily took the hand that was reached out the her, slightly awkward, and looked at Harper. “I will talk to you later, okay?” Hayley smiled, guiding Lily away. There was nothing romantic about this move, Hayley was together with Luke for four years now, but it was a great way to talk to each other and out of Hayley’s perspective -she felt like it was good if it would make Harper a bit jealous.
“Talk to me” Hayley said as they moved elegantly over the dance floor. Lily couldn’t really think of anything to say other than the one sentence that kept repeating in her mind; “I still love her” and with that, their conversation came quite to an end. They could find peace in each other’s energy. They danced for a while and went for something to eat and talk to some people, but as the evening progressed, Hayley dragged Lily out of the crowd. “Your girl is over there, go talk to her” Harper seemed to have secluded herself to a more quiet area for a moment. It immediately got her nervous, but she pushed through and moved to the woman like she was supposed to.

Ryan
Leave together… Oh if only it were that simple. If only they could actually just drop everything, get on a boat and drift off into the night. Like agreeing to let Danny help her this way wouldn’t be putting Danny’s life at risk too. And then there was the kicker. Ryan couldn’t leave her family behind. She was already enough like their parents with the whole addict thing, she couldn’t leave them too. They would never forgive her. Plus if Scott went after them to get to her, she would never forgive herself. Ryan’s eyes filled with tears as the hopelessness of her situation washed over her. “I can’t,” her voice was weak, helpless. “What if he goes after my siblings?”
Her siblings. Danny completely forgot about that. They couldn’t all go, but this was horrible. “There must be a way to fix this” Other than killing him. It briefly crossed her mind, but that would end their lives a different way. Danny was no killer either. “What if we fake your death?” Danny looked up at Ryan. It was risky, but still better than Ryan dying for real. “I’d know someone that can help with that. You have to be careful with showing your face and going around, but still” Danny frowned. “I don’t know what else you can do, but you’ll die like this”

Cassie
Cassie close her eyes and took a deep breath. This was just what she thought might happen. “I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to be out by yourself in this state.” Yeah, maybe the rejection was a bit sobering for Rowan, but it still wasn’t safe out there for the young woman. “Please, either let me drive you home, or sleep here.”
“I think I want to go home” Staying over here and running into her ex in the morning would be great. As well as that she missed the comfort of her own home. She wanted to be alone, disappear -preferably. No, it would be way too uncomfortable to stay. “But Cass, you don’t have to bring me” She muttered. “I’ve been a burden enough. You just go sleep, i’ll be fine” Part of her really wanted Cassie to just let her go, but another part of her really wanted Cassie to bring her. What a mess.

Ryan
If Ryan’s weren’t too busy being scared of what Scott might do to her next, she might have picked up on the not so subtle hints that Danny was throwing her way. Maybe Danny didn’t even know she was throwing them, but they were there for sure. Ryan’s eyes filled with tears when Danny told her that she had to get out. She clenched her jaw, trying to stop herself from having a full on break down. Then Danny’s last words cut through her like a hot knife through butter. Ryan let out a small sob. “I can’t…” She couldn’t hold eye contact. “He’ll kill me.” Or worse, he’d kill Danny.
“Then we leave together” Danny didn’t even know what she was saying and yet, then again, she did. She did a big trip before and to be honest, her current bartending job wasn’t something she’d mind leaving behind. What she would mind, is leaving Ryan in this situation. “Why don’t we take my boat and just go? We can go anywhere” On sea she’d feel safe enough, they wouldn’t be that easy to track. If they made land they should just keep their head down, maybe they could start over somewhere. “Ryan, if you stay, in the end he’ll kill you too. And I don’t want to be the one to hear that you’re missing, knowing he has something to do with it but having no proof. Because that is how this will end if you stick around this guy” Danny swallowed and moved back. This was true, he would kill her. “I don’t want to lose you”

Harper
It takes two to lose touch. Harper knew that she was partly at fault for how things had faded out with her and Lily, but she also knew that all the fault wasn’t on her shoulders. Lily could have just as easily reached out to her. She looked at the other, watching her expressions change when she realized who she was talking to. Harper didn’t even know why she had approached Lily. It was like a magnetic force had pulled her Lily’s way. “I, wow, you look great,” she said, before Lily asked her how she was doing. That was a good question. How was she doing? After their breakup, if you could even call it that, Harper had buried herself in her school work and her bakery. She had barely made any new friends, and there was nothing on the romance front. It was a little embarrassing not having a good response to the question. Harper looked away for a moment. “I’m okay. What about you, how… I didn’t expect to see you at an event like this.”
Wearing a fancy black dress and holding a glass of champagne she almost seemed elite. A big difference compared to the Lily harper used to know; oversized t-shirts, less make-up and a genuine hate for the top layer of the society. None of these things had actually changed, but at least she pretended to be a part of it every now and then. “You too” Lily replied with a calm stature -which was just that, a stature. On the inside she was freaking out. Her stomach turned, her heart was beating loudly in her chest and her mind was a mess.
And this didn´t go unnoticed. She watched how four people shifted through the crowd to lay their eyes on her. They didn´t stand out, but for her they didn´t go unnoticed. Her situation might have changed, but her instincts and habits to survive were still there. She knew exactly what was happening around her.
`Just okay?” Lily observed Harper carefully, trying to see if there was anything different about her. “I’m good, actually” A tiny smile appeared on her face, but for some reason none of it was genuine. She felt bittersweet. Part of her was so happy to see Harper, even though she’d also tried to avoid a run-in, but it also sorta hurt that they hadn’t spoken in three years. “And here I am” Another attempt to smile, this time working better. She leaned a bit forwards and held her hand next to her mouth. “Still a bit too elite for me, though”

Cassie
As the closeness between them lingered, Cassie’s understanding of what was going to happen strengthened. On the inside she was panicking. How could she stop Rowan without making her upset. Was it even possible for her to politely say no and also keep the younger woman from leaving? Rowan was too drunk to be out there by herself.
Cassie was still trying to think of what to do when Rowan made her move. Cassie didn’t pull away, no, but she didn’t exactly kiss back either. “Row, you… We can’t,” she said quietly, placing her hands gently on the younger women’s shoulders and carefully making more distance between them. “Come on, you need sleep.”
Rowan hadn’t really expected anything other than rejection. For this, there were plenty of reasons. The fact that Cassie and her sister were extremely close and everything about her move was wrong, as well as the fact that this was for sure a one way street and she happened to be way younger. Nothing about her move on Cassie was right -but she couldn’t help it. This had been in her system for way too lonog and she felt the need to express it, no matter the consequences.
And yes of course, she still hoped, deep down, that things would end up differently.
“Yeah I do” She muttered awkwardly, stepping back and moving her hand through her hair. Okay, so this was a mess. “I should go home though”

Ryan
Ryan closed her eyes as Danny cleaned up her burn. She tried to focus on anything but the pain on her skin. She listened to Danny’s breathing, took in her scent. Just being around the other women seemed to calm Ryan’s whole world. Suddenly the trauma she had just experienced felt like it had happened a hundred years ago. Being near Danny made all the bad stuff go away… and that was terrifying for Ryan because she knew that nothing would ever happen between them. “My plan?” Ryan opened her eyes, her breath catching as she noticed just how close the other was to her. She took the shirt back, but didn’t put it on right away, she just held it to her chest. “My plan is to survive… To try not to get on his bad side again.” It’s not like she had much else to do in this situation.
It were the details that caught her; the brief catch of breath, Ryan’s scent... her eyes.. Danny looked up at them as the other spoke, no longer able to explain why she was lingering this close. “You need to leave this toxic situation Ryan” Danny muttered, raising her hand to touch Ryan’s cheek. Her eyes shifted to the Ryan’s lips and her gaze hung there for a brief second before she looked back up in Ryan’s eyes. “Leave him” She could feel her heartbeat in her throat. “Stay here”
