A Very Important Reminder
Everyone expects us to have our goals, our careers decided by the age of 21, 22, 23, etc. And get settled as soon as possible. But we'll always be lost and won't be able to decide soon about what we want to do. Ofcourse we can't just waste our time and not decide on what we want, but some of us are lost about our dreams or passion. Some of us don't have dreams and passion and that's completely okay. You don't have a dream, you don't have a passion? That's okay. You'll eventually figure out what you want to do. But till then, don't give up on trying and doing your best at the opportunities you receive in life, because these opportunities are here for a reason. You can switch careers always but make sure you've given your best to what you're doing right now, and only move from it once you've done the best in your work.
And stop listening to what society says. Society doesn't and will never understand your problems and confusion. Only we ourselves best know what situation we are in.
It doesn't matter if you settle at 25 or 35 or 65. Just don't give up on what you're doing right now. Trust the process!

Write Your Story
There are going to be thousands of stories with similar plots, but you know what? It's not said in your way, it's not written in the way you do! It doesn't have that magic that you added, I wonder how you do that.
Many writers get discouraged when they read a story with a similar storyline, and do not write that story. Who knows, we might be missing out on a wonderful writer.
I know that too many stories with similar stories gets repetitive, boring and also cliché but that's the thing! You have to make it so interesting that the readers won't even remember the plot being cliché. It still doesn't have the you magic!!
Make sure to add something essential and something new to the plot, offer your readers that hook which no other book offers. After all, I found so many gems as I read books with cliché plots. I wouldn't have found them if the story wasn't cliché ;)
I'm not saying to write a cliché story. And I'm not saying to not write a cliché story.
I'm just saying to write what you love. Often times, we listen to writing tips a lot and we tend to ignore the inner voice.
Make the story how you want it to be.
And if you really want to avoid clichés then that's okay, too!
