QRnament

I called a series of these artworks «QRnament». I think it is not difficult to guess that this is a combination of the words «QR» and «ornament».

The first is reminiscent of traditional folk patterns, as they might have looked many years ago if QR codes existed then.

Previous Versions

This time I did it.

According to my own sense of taste it is stylish, cool, versatile, organic.

Slogan Born Free Born To Be Free - presented in several languages. The outer largest ring of the circle is French.

Firstly, because for me, like for many, the very concept of "libere", "liberty" is associated not so much with the English-language "liberty", but with the French-language "liberté". France's national motto is "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity".

The French, both in the past and in the present, are seen by me as one of the most freedom-loving nations, and in 2021 they reaffirmed this status of theirs - the loudest and most distinct demands for freedom sounded in the world in French.

Well, in addition, the inscription in French has superscript characters, in the outer ring they do not rest against the next layer, which is not important but preferable.

The remaining elements, such as an additional ring and a circle in the center, are added for general harmonization, stylization of the picture, giving the feeling of diverging circles, like circles on water or diverging light, sound, energy. Moreover, in our case, each ring moving away from the center has not only a larger diameter, but also a clearer contrasting appearance, in the center it is more faded, the further - the more insistent.

In addition to English and French, there are Spanish, German, Portuguese. I translated using Google Translate, I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the wording in every language except Russian and English, but I hope the translator conveyed the idea correctly.
