i feel like kai is sort of desensitized to most things after monstrosity, which explains how calm he is in dragons rising. his personality change(?) was a trauma response.

Well, hello there! It appears that I'm finding myself here once again. I dare offer up what all the ninja (aside from Kai & Zane) may be, species wise! They're relatively common, but I think it's fun.

Lloyd - Of course, Oni/Dragon/Human. This is just plain canon, however, I like to believe that he has got a dragon tail and fluffy ears, whilst having Oni horns!

Jay - After season one, he becomes a snake! I imagine him with little fangs, slitted eyes, and that his skin feels a bit like a snake!

Nya - After seabound, she's partially dragon! She has dragon horns, ears, and tail, except they are made out of water!

Cole - Partially Oni!! Roughly 1/3, if I'd have to say. I imagine he looks completely human, though. This one is a callback to the Oni Trilogy, having to do with how he was the one to take care of baby wu, and spent the most time with him. And, of course, to do with March of the Oni. I like to think he didn't even know he had any Oni blood in him until after the Oni Trilogy.

As much as Misako tried to be Nya’s female role model (including giving her horrible advice), Edna swooped her up like a duckling from the moment she learned Nya and Kai had no parents. And there’s no better Ninjago mom than Edna.

I think maybe sometimes Clouse would go and cuddle with the giant serpent that was also straight up just his pet. Sometimes a mans best friend is a dog, and sometimes its a giant serpent who eats people
