I have uploaded the fourth episode of my bilingual podcast. This time, I talked about one of my all-time favourite films- ‘English Vinglish!’ It’s an Indian Hindi-language comedy which received critical international acclaim. There won’t be any spoilers till the very end, and I will warn you when they’re coming, so you can skip that part if you like.

@tkwmatsu Thank you SO much for this warm feedback!! It means a lot to me that the episode resonated with you. x Genuine connections and interactions like this are one of the biggest reasons I'm still on social media.
[Bilingual post] Podcast Ep.3 Artists' Mental Health and Social Media /ポッドキャストEp3.アーティストのメンタルヘルスとソーシャルメディア
I uploaded the third episode of my bilingual podcast. This time, I talked a theme that’s very close to my heart: artists’ mental health and social media. The definition of ‘artist’ here is anyone who expresses themselves through any art forms, no matter whether financial profit is involved. I’m not a believer that you’re only an artist only if you make money of your art. I analysed the reasons why social media could be toxic for artists' mental health and suggested three tips for softening the emotional toll.
I hope you will enjoy the episode. The podcast is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts as well.

I did a sketch of Qala (Tripti Dimri) from the Netflix Indian Hindi-language fiim, 'Qala' directed by Anvita Dutti Guptan. It's a poetic, beautiful, yet gut-wrenching film. There were countless moments when I just wanted to hug Qala in her relentless loneliness.
Another feminist-themed film by the same director and the lead actress, 'Bulbbul' is also my favourite.

I got interviewed by a dear art friend and a popular YouTuber, Sumino about our favourite Academy Award-winning film, 'RRR.' Sorry that the video is only in Japanese!
If you haven't watched 'RRR' yet, I'd strongly recommend the film. 'RRR' is a beautiful and emotionally charged action film which moved and inspired audiences worldwide.
I drew the self-taught designer Nancy Tyagi. It always amazes me how she makes fabulous dresses from scratch. 🥻This drawing is my attempt to capture the beauty of her creativity and hardwork.
