Disclaimer:
This is part of a series of polls I want to make. If you're looking at this asking where people like Chuck Berry or Jimi Hendrix are, please look for the other polls, they're probably on there! this is just a space for all the artists I felt couldn't be placed on the other polls either because they have many influences and can only be said to just be rock or I just didn't have enough space.
I also just wanted to make this so I could get probably some suggestions on BLACK musicians that made/make rock music. It's not a contest, I just want to see which musicians some people like and for this to be a way for people to discover them.
*side note: although not a contest, if prince wins this i will be side-eyeing. and it just tells me everything about you, one of them being you don't listen to enough rock music by black people.
Other Polls:
Classic Rock
Metal
Punk

Sly and the Family Stone - Que Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) (1973)
I’m just feeling this one right now.  The story goes that Sly met Doris Day through her son Terry Melcher.  When Doris came into the room, Sly started playing Que Sera.  Soon, Doris joined him at the piano in a duet.  I guess Sly liked the result and recorded it with his sister Rose for the Fresh LP.
