The Jell-O Gallery Museum in LeRoy, NY is small but mighty!ย  Itโ€™s full of fun and interesting info you never knew you wanted to know about Jell-O.ย  Although some may consider it โ€œin the middle of nowhereโ€.ย  Itโ€™s only a half hour drive from Rochester, NY.

Touring the Brewmaster's Castle in Washington D.C. Christian Heurich, aka "The Brewmaster" lived to be the world's oldest brewer at 102. His last working brewery was torn down and replaced by the Kennedy Center.

Although, I wasn't quite hungry enough to take on "The Bomb" at Sal, Kris and Charlie's Deli, I did try the Italian Combo...it took care of my lunch AND dinner! :) I had seen SKC's Deli on many top NYC sandwich lists for years and was so happy to find that it lived up to the hype. Worth the trip to Astoria and not that far off the Ditmars Blvd subway stop!

The photos don't quite do the beautifully restored 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue justice. It is definitely worth going to the Museum at Eldridge Street to see the space in person and learn about it's history.

Checking out local brews in Austin on the (512) Brewing Company Tour. The only way to taste their beers is to go on their tour or find a TX bar that distributes it. If you want to take some home with you then bring your growler to the bar!ย  Totally worth the effort as what I sampled was unique and tasty.

A few snapshots from before the free Fannie Mae Chocolate Factory Tour.ย  (You can't take photos during the tour.) I highly recommend a stop if you are a chocolate lover, not only for the samples and shopping but for the insight on how it all started and how they produce chocolate/candy treats now.
