Australian artist Tanya Schultz works as Pip & Pop to create immersive installations and artworks from an eclectic range of materials including sugar, glitter, candy, plastic flowers, everyday craft materials and all sorts of objects she finds on her travels.

Her practice embodies both independent and collaborative processes across varying disciplines including installation, painting, wall-works and sculpture.

Often ephemeral, her meticulously constructed and highly detailed works embrace notions of abundance, utopian dreams and fleeting pleasure. She is fascinated with ideas of paradise and wish-fulfillment described in folk tales, mythologies and cinema.

She has exhibited her work throughout Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands and the UK.

Reverie sleep

Reverie sleep project is based on Synchrodogs’ dreams, those they have seen in drowsiness. Charting that subtle space between wake and sleep - familiar yet remote, the artistic duo have been recording their supernatural visions and then recreating them via photography. The project deals with the stage of Non Rapid Eye Movement sleep, during which some people may experience hypnagogic hallucinations caused by natural process of falling asleep. Experimenting with those lucid dreaming techniques they usually woke themselves up in the middle of the night to make a note of what they had just seen, gathering their dreams to be staged afterwards. The Project is created with support of PinchukArtFoundation

 Synchrodogs의 로만 노벤(Roman Noven)과  타니아 셰흘로바(Tania Shcheglova)은 우크라이나 출신 사진작가이다. 

최근 미국에서의 작업들을 살펴보면,  얼반아웃피터즈 뿐만 아니라 뉴욕매거진, 하퍼스바자, 에스콰이어 등과 함께하고 있다. 하지만 그들은 전시에서 더 빛을 발한다. 그들은 세계의 크리에이티브신에서 풍부한 작품세계를 보여주고 있다
