I feel my heart beat souring, The apple so ripe from the out rots at its core. I have been plagued by the weight of inconsistency glueing the libraries bindings together. Each shelf cracks a spine and breaks a neck as I flip through these pages. It's windy. Touch here go there. From the lake the wind strips the leaves off my limbs and leaves the bark bare before the Spring. I am an addict to the wind, it touches my lips and cools my sweat. Yet all this vanity, even this. Fingers whisper. "The wind can not be chased" When I think one thing I produce the other. Thought, action: will, inaction I want what I do not want and thirst for arsenic. I need what I do not quench and pant as a deer for ideas not included but removed. Yet: if I thirst there must be water.
