Are you reading a multi chapter fic? Try leaving a comment when you take a break! Did I just remind you of a fic you read a couple of days ago? Go back and comment on it!
"Reread kudos," keysmashes, and emojis are all good comments! Show those writers how much you appreciate them!

i agree!
also while im thinking about it
people have to write "bad" fan fiction in order to write "good" fan fiction. and people have a right to post their "bad" fan fiction on ao3 because it is an archive, not a bookstore. and people writing "bad" fan fiction are just as entitled to comments and encouragement as any other author
protect "bad" fan fiction

What I love about this event (besides having gotten some very nice comments, thank you all so much ❤️), I've come to discover quite a few very enjoyable fics that I would never have read because they are for a fandom I've never heard of or original works. Thank you so very much for organising this and the tons of work you're putting into it!!! Especially I love (dark) humour/crack. If you have a fic on the spreadsheet that is funny/cracky, not longer than 1,500 words, not explicit and easy to read fandom blind, you can let me know and I'd be happy to read it to help make space for some new fics on the list.
ive also found some really good stuff through this project!

fun fact: i run a couple of different blogs, two of which are fandom-specific queue-run blogs, and this one is actually the least annoying to maintain
"my queue ran out" do you want more mods? I'm willing to help queue stuff if ya want
I appreciate the offer! This blog actually takes very little effort (unlike, presumably, @nomorezerocomments (there's a spreadsheet?!?! Like WOW holy crap)) so my queue running out isn't actually that big of a deal.
I usually queue the day's poll up in advance by only a couple hours, mostly to make sure if there's an ao3 outages or something I can work around them. When I'm going to have a busy week at work I will queue a few days in advance.
Making a queue for more than a few days is actually rather boring and kind of a pain in the ass to be honest.

Do you know what a crazy thing is, as an AO3 writer? I get so fucking high on my own horse about my writing with one kudos. When someone bookmarks, I feel like Andre the Giant. When someone comments I feel like God.

AGAIN?
its very important to me that we include non-english fics in this project because fics not in english get wayyy less comments purely on account of ao3 being an english-centric website. i think people should be able to write in their native languages and still get recognition for their work and not feel that they have to write in english or no one will read it
