To all of those people who get into fights and wars because of ships, about couples who don't exist and people who aren't real.  Don't get me wrong I love watching those characters fall in love as much as the next person, but I know that these people aren't real those characters aren't real. Yes you can love them and relate to them but at the end of the day these characters we love so much are just actors. They are people who love these characters just as much as we do, but they know how to separate what's fiction and what's real life. 

You are all probably thinking I am not a true fan and don't really care about shipping if i am saying all this, but just to let you all know, I was shipping couples way before there was the term shipping.  

I was routing for Bailey and Sarah in Party of Five. I fell in love with Pacey and Joey in Dawson's Creek.  I was hoping that Rory would say Yes to Logan and I waited 7 years to see Luke and Lorelai live happily ever after in Gilmore Girls. I was the one sitting at the edge of my seat watching Danny and Lindsay fall in love with each other in CSI: New York and I was there saying Yes! when Summer walked down the isle and got married to Seth in the O.C.  

I was there every step of the way falling in love with all these characters!  But it is how you go around loving these characters and their romances. Getting into a "no their better" "no their better" war isn't quite the most mature thing. Everyone has  their own opinion and every fictional couple touches different peoples hearts. Just because you might not be the biggest fan of that couple doesn't mean others don't love them. So what's the point in fighting over these couples.  

The point is that these actors are doing what they love so well that they touch our hearts with their characters and makes us fall in love with them. You should never get defensive because of someone's different opinion. 

So settled down enjoy the show, and watch people fall in love!

Come Together

To come together united not divide. To be there to share the laughs and the tears. To be inspired by fiction, by characters behind our television screens. Characters we bring into our hearts and our homes. People that change our lives, and they don't even know it. People who tell us to love and not hate, to be yourselves. To never judge others. To enjoy what life has to offer, to never take anything to seriously and never take anything for granted because life is too short.  We should come together just like the people who have inspired us, who became our heroes, our reasons for dreaming big and never giving up. We need to come together and not tear each other down.  We are joined as one, lets stay as one!

I hope that this is just the beginning, and that I get to thank you many more times for many more adventures as the years roll by. But for now, know that I am so very grateful for everything you’ve given me, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished together. From teenage dream to teenage dream, thank you for allowing me to live mine.

Two of my favourite actresses. I watched movies and t.v. shows way beyond my years. I truly had an old soul (still do). To this day I still love watching Murder She Wrote, and The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins will always hold special places in my heart. These are two ladies I will want my kids to watch, and I can't wait to watch with them.

Someday, Someday, Maybe

When I first heard that Lauren Graham was coming out with her first book I knew I just had to get it. She is an actor who I adore. I have loved her since Gilmore Girls, so I knew adding this book to my library was a must. And I was not sorry that I did. I fell in love with her book called Someday,Someday, Maybe. I couldn’t put it down. I also fell in love with the main character of Franny Banks. She is just like any other women in the world. She is a character that was made so real. She has confidance, doubts and insicurites just like all of us but it is her determination and strenght that made me relate to her. This story truly moved me. 

Reading this book I could truly see that a lot of Lauren was shown in her t.v. character Lorelai Gilmore in the Gilmore Girls. It had the pop culture references, the snappy remarks, and the witty banter that we all loved from the show, but this book was truly just Lauren. I could see her writing this as I read. I could just imagine her sitting at her computer and writing this book. 

This defiantly is a book that I will read over and over again. This was the first book that I had ever read that left me on a cliff-hanger.  It is an inspiring and a beautiful coming of age story. I can't wait to read the second book.
