Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

A late post - I watched Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Thursday night. A day BEFORE the initial release. I. Ate. It. Up.

I was very worried about how the movie franchise was going to work and how the directors were going to put a spin to the movie without beloved actor Chadwick Boseman.

From start to finish, the movie did so well in regards to keeping the black panther feel of African pride and Wakanda's morals. As per usual, I always love the Marvel end credits as they show more humor and hints to the next movie in the franchise. But the end credits hit different.

As Marvel movies do well, the visuals were amazing! I cannot wait to see what the directors do with these movies going forward and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

If I had to personally rate out of 100% for rotten tomatoes, I would say 94%. If you watched this movie and have some thoughts - feel free to DM me!

Barbarian (2022)

My first post tonight.

I watched the new Zach Cregger movie, 'Barbarian'. Not at all what I expected. I really enjoyed it. I was skeptical of the movie in the beginning due to its description and thoughts of what could possibly be for this movie to move forward.

Cregger does a good job with his twists and ensuring they connect. I was overall more creeped out and scared and I loved that effect. I liked it due to the idea that many of the things in the movie felt more related to real life than some scary imaginary thing we conjure in our minds, like creepypastas.

I am a personal fan of Justin Long. I feel like in every movie, especially horror, he seems to be the comedic relief and he is more so in this movie.

If I had to score this movie out of 100 rotten tomatoes, I would rate it the 92% that it has as of currently. I felt a lot of sentiment and thrill with this movie and if I had to make this any more convincing to watch this movie, the ending.

I cannot wait until a YouTube channel like 'FoundFlix' does a video of this because I am dying to hear someone's thoughts on the ending. If anyone has watched this movie and wants to talk about it, DM me. I am going to start writing more posts about newer movies that came out this year soon.
