I read the doc you posted as a reply to my question. I didn't know all that stuff. I'm sorry I bothered you about it
No bother at all, they won't interact with anything that brings up stuff from that doc. But we were presented it and had to act. That's why he got banned. Hopefully something happens about it but I doubt it.

Nope, that would require too much effort. Also I just don't care enough to do something like that. I literally have not thought about you since our last interaction until I saw your call out post, which I responded too but guess you didn't feel like reading/responding to that one huh?

I was the one who told you there was a drama server about you? We haven't mentioned your name in the server since last time we interacted on here???? We locked and closed the thread as well.
The last post in the thread was literally me posting the link to the post I made on here about our situation. Which can be found here
Since then the server has moved on, we have new members and are doing new events. Not to be rude but you are the last thing on our minds. We haven't been on your blog or done anything since the date you can clearly see on that screenshot. Also just to make it clear you did steal Lights name and theres proof of that on this blog. @light-miracles aka Light did a whole post on this if anyone is interested.
Unless you're referring to the drama server made about you? I can't even find that on my server list anymore and it's not a mutual server between me and Lady so I'm not sure what you are referring too?
To break it down: 1. Night Sky Dreams (my personal server for friends and family - yes it has my actual family in it) 2. Twilight Forever - the Twilight server in question 3. Zodiac Academy Roleplay - Lady's rp server for ZA 4. Social Solidarity - the server for our society in the game Time Princess 5. Romantasy Cult - one of the servers partners, a server about romantasy books 6. Solaria - another one of the servers partners, a server about Zodiac Academy 7. ILIUM x EPIC - the official server for Epic: The Musical 8. Twilight: Humans React - a crack idea I have for a rp that hasn't been built out yet
Honestly this just seems like a poor attempt to get some attention since I've been active on my blog again. This is the last time I will address this. On that note, hope yall are having a good day/night wherever you are! Join Twilight Forever!
Also since Luz won't address the allegations against them, here's a link to the google doc exposing their crimes. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Q4PcMkHIpZHzoJQL2CDxswNBqSuCYfjcC0Tc_rF4ws/edit?usp=sharing
@notthetwilightyouremember dreamer ur a liar u claimed that u didnt tolerate bullying in ur server but u and sinclair are participating in a server where ppl have said that theyre actively stalking my blog and they make fun of me behind my back so im going to call u out

Saviours of the world
I wonder if the Scalans would sometimes depict the five union leaders in art. We see the Ephemer statue at the end of the Union Cross, but that can't be the only memorial to the five of them.

To your point with Bella not having a relationship with the Cullen's in canon... I feel like we get that tell don't show with basically every relationship even beyond the Cullen's. Angela is Bella's human best friend. Jacob is madly in love with Bella ... Okay, why? What does she do for them other than be the main character?
Right, when do she and Angela actually hang out? Dress shopping, which Bella didn’t actually want to do and only tagged along to go to the bookstore in Port Angeles, and filling out Angela’s graduation announcements in Eclipse are the only two moments that really stand out. And in the first case Bella is not being a super great friend, and in the second don’t they end up talking about BELLA’s problems like the whole time?
And I get it–she’s the main character AND the POV narrator. It’s really hard not to make the world revolve around her. But it’s just such a strange dynamic where she’s supposed to be this unusually good, compassionate, kind girl, SO amazingly good that she’s the first person in 100 years that Edward has feelings for … but then she just exists and everyone else falls all over themselves to love her, to invite her places, to be her friends, to throw parties in her honor and it’s like … why though?!
You see all these headcanons of like “how the Cullens spend time with Bella” and it’s like, reverse that. How does SHE spend time with THEM? How does SHE show she loves THEM? I just don’t feel it. It feels like she loves the idea of this big, happy, eternal family. But she just doesn’t seem at all curious or interested in them as individuals. Maybe it’s just the Edward (and Jacob) focus here but … I don’t know. And it’s even worse with the human kids. She doesn’t seem to even LIKE Jessica. She barely tolerates Mike and makes fun of him behind his back. The only one she likes is Angela and even then she does the bare minimum of maintaining a friendship. And if we had explored that, like “I really like Angela and in another world we could be best friends. But how can I befriend her when I know in a few months I’m going to become a vampire and disappear off the face of the earth? That wouldn’t be fair to her.” There are hints of that, but not enough to make it interesting or explain Bella’s seeming lack of interest in her ‘friends.’

I’m sure someone’s posted about this but since I just got to this part in Eclipse - Edward buying a fancy ass motorcycle so he and Bella can “ride their bikes together” or whatever pisses me off SO BAD
Like he is fully aware of what Bella’s motorcycle looks like. He knows. And he still goes out and buys a slick, expensive machine and is convinced that “going her pace” will be a perfect solution that she will totally have no problems with!!!!
The disconnect is so stark — he had NO NEED to spend so much money on it, but for the sake of a fancy motorcycle that’s what he did. There’s no way he’s not aware of the imbalance between them when looking at both bikes next to each other??? And at the end he just shrugs it off as something Bella and Jacob do together like what a fucking moron READ THE ROOM

Couldn't find the original post this morning but was thinking again about how Bella survived almost everything that 'killed' the other Cullens. She survived (and remained human) being hunted by James (Alice).
She survived (and remained human) being bitten by a vampire (Carlisle, Jasper). She survived jumping off a cliff (Esme). She was saved from being attacked by a group of men (Rosalie).
Didn't she have the flu or something in New Moon? (Edward)
The only one she didn't was Emmett. But you could argue Paul phasing and Jacob protecting her is sort of similar to a 'bear' attack?
I remember someone brought this up to SM at a Q&A once and she was like, "oh interesting, I hadn't thought of that!" so it doesn't seem to have been intentional, or at least not consciously so. It's probably just a function of the 'danger magnet' stuff and Bella being the MC who needed to survive for the story to continue.

the way that bella freaks out over the tour group being murdered by vampires like. ok, i get it she doesn't exactly want to be a monsterfucker she's just an edwardfucker and wants to be with him in any way possible. but like the fact that it doesn't at all cause her conflict in deciding to become a vampire a chapter later is uhhh... as aro would say... fascinating

I remember you had a post once about how it was like Smeyer low-key "forgot" she was writing a vampire/werewolf story by the time BD happened and so many things were exaggerated (like the Cullens suddenly being ridiculously rich, Carlisle having so many friends (not just *any* vampires, some of which are from powerful/well-known covens) despite the cullens supposed to be "freaks" in the vampire world for their diet etc.)
It made me think that Smeyer even kinda exaggerated (or really dialed up) the lore she set up with her vampires (even werewolves too kinda). Gifts are supposed to be "rare" yet so many vampires who gathered have special talents to the point "vampire X-men" kinda became a joke within the fandom because it really did start giving off superhero vibes. (i can get behind mind reading and illusions, but Benjamin with his vamp avatar stuff started to lose me and I just,,,didn't care for all these vampires.) And maybe its just me, but i personally felt Smeyer really ramped up how strong the vampires were? Leaping off a wide river with jumps that can cover TWICE the distance gave me Superman vibes like...vampires aren't supposed to be *that* strong. (At this point i half-expect Emmett/newborn Bella to be strong enough to stop a falling building though I'll admit that can be funny for a shitpost/crackfic) You already made your vamps ridiculously op just on the first three books Stephenie, you don't have to add more to them. 😵💫
Even with werewolves imprinting is also supposed to be "rare", but since the pack was introduced, every now and then we're told a new pack member has imprinted since Sam (Jared, then Quil, then Paul and then tragically, Jacob). i feel bad for the pack, becus I can imagine them now being afraid to form relationships, explore romantic options like any teenager or date anyone for fear of one day they'll end up imprinting.
The established lore *tells* us that stuff are "rare" but then we're *shown* that there really actually *uncommon*
Exactly. She tells us these things are rare and then suddenly it's not.
You can certainly handwave it, if you want. This is the largest pack ever, and it's been a few generations since the last one, so you could make excuses like, "oh they thought imprinting was rare but they were wrong" if you want. You can also excuse with "there are more vampires around than ever so that changed things." But then it's like, why bother telling us it's rare in the first place?
And with the vampire powers, again, we're introduced to the Cullens with Edward and Alice being "the freaks among the freaks" (Jasper's power is a 'subtle gift' and doesn't count, apparently, until it's retconned as near mind-control in Midnight Sun where it makes James, Laurent and Victoria just like, not notice him or Bella. Okay.) and how gifts are rare and most vampires don't have them and then by them time we get to Breaking Dawn it's like fully half of the vampires have gifts, and Renesmee, who isn't even a full vampire, has TWO gifts (projecting her thoughts via touch AND breaking through shields).
SM sort of explains this by saying gifts are rare in the general human population, but more common among vampires BECAUSE vampires are looking for/drawn to special humans, so the percentage of vampires with gifts compared to other vampires is higher than the percentage of humans with latent gifts compared to all humans. And like, again, okay, but you can still have that and still have gifts be *rare*. 2/5 Denali have one, 5/9 Cullens have one. 1/4 Egyptians, 2/3 Irish, 1/3 Amazon. It starts to look like the ones without gifts are deficient in some way, not that the ones WITH gifts are special.
And that's where I have to be a contrarian and be like, ugh, powers. I'm here for vampires, not superheroes. The Alice, Edward, Aro stuff, even Jasper, that fits into the vampire vibes, the way Classic vampires can sort of read you or hypnotize you or influence you. But Benjamin manipulating earth, wind, fire and water?! Siobhan bending reality to her will? And that whole Mele thing from Life and Death just feels SO contrived. Why on earth would anyone develop a power that allows them to steal other powers but not use it themselves, only give it to someone else? It's so clearly just so Sulpicia can have Aro's power. Why can't Sulpicia be clever and ruthless and rule the vampire world without a gift? And again, where are the consequences? At least Edward's mind-reading has some negatives, he can't turn it off, he can't get any quiet. Alice can't have a normal relationship with anyone because she already knows their future together before they even meet. Aro has so many stolen memories--whole other lifetimes!--in his head he's on this other plane of existence. Maybe Benjamin accidentally creates fire when he's angry or upset which makes him dangerous to the vampires he cares about, maybe Siobhan had trouble telling reality from fiction.
Vampires are supposed to be a trade-off. You get immortality in exchange for bloodthirst, etc. If people like the fairy tale or superhero vampires, that's cool! Enjoy! But that's not what I signed up for, and not what the first three books lead me to believe with all their grim quotes introducing each book ('don't eat from the tree of knowledge,' 'violent delights have violent ends,' 'the world will end in fire or ice').
I want powers to be rare and to have downsides. I want imprinting to be rare and for the characters to wrestle with if trading free will for perfect love is a fair trade.

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17 (Twilight)
These violent delights have violent ends And in their triumph die, like fire and powder Which, as they kiss, consume. Romeo and Juliet, Act II, Scene VI (New Moon)
Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice. Robert Frost (Eclipse)
You’ll have to forgive me for thinking that, with quotes like these to set the tone, the Twilight series would have at best a bittersweet ending.

In Life and Death SMeyer wanted to show how everything would be the same with flipped genders, but we all know it wouldn't work like that. So, based on their flipped genders and kind of changed backstories (especially in Jessamine's case), which special abilities do you think the Cullens should have?
I think Carine still works with compassion or something compassion-adjacent (not a super power technically but you get the idea). And actually I wonder if people would be less critical of her actions vs Carlisle? That is, I don't really see people talking about consent and damnation when it comes to Sasha of the Denali creating her "daughters" (none of whom were on the verge of death so far as we know). Maybe there's some subconscious thing where a woman making vampire 'children' is more akin to birth (no one chose to be a vampire, but no one chose to be born either), whereas the power dynamics of a man making the choice for someone else, especially women, weirds people out? I don't know, maybe I'm way off base there, but I feel like there might be SOMETHING.
Carine's story is pretty much the same, just limited by what women were allowed to do in the medical field. There's also a bit of a "punish a man by hurting a woman" there in that the vampire who bit her explicitly did so to punish Pastor Cullen, but since I already sort of headcanoned that for Carlisle anyway, it didn't bother me much.
The difference was the Carine wasn't out doing the vampire hunting herself; likewise Jessamine had much less agency than Jasper, who actively chose to lie about his age to enlist. Jessamine was just kidnapped from her home. (And again, the dynamics of a male vampire breaking into someone's home and kidnapping her to turn her into a vampire just feels very different than three vampire women being approached by a man who thought they needed help. Yas Maria, slay Maria! Ew, gross Mariano!) So we have no evidence really Jessamine had the same power as Jasper as a human; she also had no military experience so she would have had a much steeper learning curve than Jasper in terms of learning how to fight, how to train, how to command. I've always thought that Jasper's power should have been mental anyway so let's make Jessamine's power mental instead. She can still sense and manipulate emotions but no more of that weird heartbeat and endorphin stuff (that doesn't seem like would apply to vampires anyway??), it's mental. Wouldn't work on Beau/Bella then I guess.
Royal can keep beauty, Eleanor can keep strength. I like how those upend expectations. And Eleanor's backstory stayed pretty much the same: being mauled by a bear. Good for her! I appreciate that SM still had them get married repeatedly; although I don't remember if it's still because Royal likes to do it. I hope so because again, it upends expectations (the man being wedding-obsessed) and it keeps them closer to their original characterizations.
Earnest's story is very different than Esme's (and again, I must ask, why not 'Ezra?' It's right there and just feels right! Even feels like the name of a kid who grew up on a farm). But again, I like upending expectations by having this sweet, loving house-husband while Carine is out there working. I do wonder, if we had seen more of Earnest, if SM would have made that Power of Heart more dad-like ("step into my office" "let's play catch" "You can tell your old man anything") than the just sort of bubble of love surrounding Esme but I don't know. It might also manifest differently because Earnest's child was older and was actively murdered by his wife. Esme only had her child for a few days and he died of natural causes. Those experiences are very different and might shape what form the Power to Love Passionately takes and how Earnest applies it to his family. He might be a bit more anxious? More protective? He knows his new children are basically indestructible but that helplessness he felt when he lost his human daughter might color how he reacts.
That leaves Archie and Edythe. You can't really change their powers too much because so much of the plot relies on them. And really I haven't changed much of the others either. I think the powers would be pretty similar because they are based on traits shared between the two versions of the characters, but how they used them, how they manifested, might be different because of their different lived experiences. Archie growing up as an eldest son rather than an eldest daughter (and does this mean his mother hires someone to kill his father and his mother and step-father lock him up? How deep does the gender swap go?) might change things like, perhaps he's more or less likely to tell people about his visions because of different societal expectations. Perhaps Edythe's latent ability to "read" people is seen as less impressive than Edward's, like, "oh she's a girl of course she has strong emotional intelligence" or whatever vs Edward being this sensitive piano prodigy was more of an outlier.
Life and Death is such an interesting experience because SM kept a lot of the dialogue word-for-word from Twilight. Earnest has almost all the same lines as Esme, etc. But she changed the backstories to fit gender expectations.

Something interesting about Twilight is that the main group of vampires aren't even like THAT old?
I mean yeah there are Carlisle and Jasper who are more the ages you'd expected vampires to be in a story like this; well into their immortality, long past the time they might have lived if they had stayed human. But even then compared to Amun and Kebi, or the Denali sisters, or the Volturi leaders, Jane and Alec, Demetri, even most of his friends, Carlisle's like . . . a teenager. Jasper's barely a tween.
The others are little vampire babies! The books take place in 2005. Esme, the next oldest, was born in 1895. If she had stayed human theoretically she could have still been alive. She'd be 110, but it's possible. Alice and Edward were both born in 1901. They're each 104. Again, unlikely, but within the realm of possible for a human lifespan. Rosalie and Emmett were born in 1915. They'd be 90. We're getting into "yeah I have a relative that age" territory now.
They aren't that old. They've barely tasted immortality. Sure they've seen a lot of social change and everyone they knew in their youth is dead, but that's the same sort of experience that 105 year old grandpas in a nursing home have had. There were cars and telephones when five of the Cullens were human. They went to the movies. They aren't all that old.

When Edward is explaining Carlisle’s theory of vampire ~gifts~ being a very strong personality attribute carried over to the next life, he mentions Carlisle guessed he was “always aware of others’ thoughts” or whathaveyou. I believe in my heart of hearts Carlisle was softening the blow with that phrasing— he really thinks Edward was an exceptionally nosy lil bitch

Why isn't Carlisle an empath? If their personality traits are enlarged in vampirism, it would make more sense than Edward being a mind-reader.
Or even a healer or something.
(I know Jasper is, but it would be better if Carlisle had a power instead of Edward)
Oh, and hi, hope you're having a good day!
I'm of two minds on this because on one hand, what makes Carlisle interesting to me is that he has accomplished all he has without an actual superpower, but on the other hand like, yeah, you'd think this one-of-a-kind sort of guy would have some really cool power, right?
(I know some people headcanon that he actually does have some power of charisma or something, or that it's not actually about enhanced compassion but literally super self control, but canonically speaking, SM says he doesn't have a 'power' in the same way that Jasper, Alice, Edward, Bella do).
I've never really seen what Jasper's power had to do with charisma anyway; maybe the manipulating other people's emotion part. But I don't think there's any reason he should be feeling what other people feel, that's not really about charisma, that kind of empathy is . . . more like compassion. Which means 'to suffer with.' I could sort of see Carlisle with a power maybe to take other people's pain, but then he feels it himself. Which would be a sucky power from the POV of having to experience it, but what a GREAT one for a) a doctor and b) someone who reluctantly creates other vampires. His patients would be pain-free and the three day torture of vampiric transformation would be on him, not his 'creations.'
The one that really makes me sort of roll my eyes is Edward being the fastest runner. Like, why? What about his human life suggests he'd be the fastest? Also he already has mind-reading. Why does he need anything else? I get it, I get it, he's the male lead. I know. But if anyone in canon should be super fast, surely it's the guy who ran down a vampire in 17th century London? As Edward himself says, "He ran through the streets, and Carlisle — he was twenty-three and very fast — was in the lead of the pursuit."
Edward: son of a lawyer in 1900s Chicago, playing piano. Carlisle: son of a witch-burning pastor, literally chasing down vampires in 1660s London.
Guess who gets super speed!
But again, overall I think it's actually interesting that Carlisle's built this super-powerful coven and gathered all these allies and is a threat to the Volturi all without a power and mostly by accident. Like this guy just wants to eat deer, play baseball with his family, and be a small town doctor but Destiny is calling apparently.
