As you may all have noticed i have been severely inactive on tumblr, there's a reason for this. I'm moving away from doing Tmnt content, dont get me wrong! I still love rottmnt but my desire for creating content around it has faded. The void boys are doing well and will continue to exist, i dont plan on getting rid of them anytime soon, but it's important to you all that came for TMNT content exclusively: sorry, you'll have to be disappointed! I still may post the turtles every once in a while but dont expect anything like before, apologies again.

Going forward there's likely more Oc content alongside more anime and other fandom related content, im not one to stick to one thing forever so it will be a bit of a mess of content.

Hello hello I am back and I have a new theory.

On the Void Brothers tumblr account in the intro post there are a couple staticky and glitched out panels. The glitched out part says “ok log one” and the next says “we’re in a…” the person saying it looks like past ‘pre-Signal’ Donnie. Then in the fear spores comic the last line is something like “you can never escape the loop”.

So! My new theory is that somehow the brothers got stuck in a time loop. Donnie was logging it to figure out how to fix it and possibly observe any changes, that’s what the “ok log one. We’re in a…” means. I think he was going to say time loop. That’s also why Signal freaked out in the fear spores comic. He hallucinated the way thing used to be, thinking he was back in the (presumably terrifying/traumatizing/maddening) loop and was seeing the first part of the day he lived however many times start again. That triggered a panic attack or psychotic breakdown or some sorts.

I have yet to find out what the ‘void’ part in the Void Brothers means, but you previously said it was important or a hint so hopefully I figure out soon. Maybe it’s how they entered the loop? Or maybe how they got out? You said something replaced their ninpō so maybe that’s the void?

So do the Void Brother all have powers (like separate from ninpō?). Do they have ninpō at all? Is that ‘breaking free from my pitiful flesh suit’ only Signal or can they all do it? Also can you spare some lore please 🥺 the best I can guess is child abuse (???) from how afraid Signal seemed during the fear spores comic when he realized where he was and saw Splinter. But also Splinter did not give off that vibe soooo idk. Although Ik they were definitely canon turtles at some point from that same comic.
