Mark Waid talked about his favorite moment writing Fantastic Four in today’s Marvel podcast. He said it was a page in his very first issue where Reed explained to infant Valeria why he called himself Mr. Fantastic and why he tried to make the F4 into celebrities. It was really about his (Reed’s) guilt.

I’ve read those particular panels so many times, they were my favorite or at least one of my favorites in the whole world comic books. I just went back and read them again. These two pages never failed to make me emotional.

Because Sam isn’t doing it for petty reasons. He’s doing it to stop the government from having any control over the legacy HE helped build.

Kamala isn’t assembling a team of child traffickers, murderers, and self centered people unlike a certain other team. Kamala is assembling people that Sam would also choose in a heart beat.

miles “who’s morales” morales’s biggest weakness is the cover story

It really interesting to me that, despite Wally West and Linda Park having one of the most consistent and stable relationships in all of comics, they've basically never been a couple in any adaptations. Like, Linda appeared in Justice League Unlimited but only for one episode and just had a one sided crush on the Flash. The only other adaptation I can think of where they both appeared in was the Arrowverse, but as far as I'm aware they never met in any of the shows.

To be clear, I'm not like upset at it or anything. I just find it really odd.
