Race: Human
Size: Medium
Names: Cotao, Julius, Serafina, Clara.
Example lore/personality: Lives near the ocean, while not of noble standing themself they do spend much time around the nobility and royalty of their land, earning themselves their favor. Spends most of their time sitting around and being pretty, but beneath that is a talented sorcerer who gets what they want when they want it.
(I could also see them being a warlock)

Race: Monster/homebrew (A little but of dumbo octopus, a little bit of squid)
Size: Can change between the Large-Gargantuan range, can get bigger. (Think cthulhu)
Names: Tykaratyr, The Fathomless, Usai
Example lore/personality: A patron to a selective number of warlocks, she oft watches over her few chosen warlocks with great interest. She is more likely to step in and come to their aid than many other patrons, and is fiercely independent from the others of her society. When grown into her truest form, abyssal water pours from her gills and fins, tainted with ink and blood. -When used as a patron can be either fathomless or great old one. She is cthulhu esque. She often choses aquatic races to be her warlocks (Triton, siren, merfolk, the occasional sea elf. She picks exclusively natural water breathers with very few exceptions. aside from that her standards are unclear, with a seemingly wide spread of personalities, backstories, and skills, the only common denominator being that they have met face-to-face prior to the pact.)

(This one is a bbeg I have used in the past that I am passing around. Much more lore complete than others)
Race: Monster/undefined/homebrew
Size: Large
Name: Tysavv
Lore: A peaceful forest guardian who dedicated itself to ensuring no harm would befall the innocent who set foot in it's woods as long as they showed the forest respect. It was pushed to extreme violence as an encroaching kingdom began to cut down the woods to make room for more land. It began killing workers and reanimating their bodies as its thralls. Unable to be killed for long, the only way it could be stopped was through either proper diplomacy and a cease to expansions, or the complete eradication of the kingdom. Typically slow to anger, helpful, and a gentle giant. Often seen among the locals as a mysterious yet benevolent force, known for guiding lost children to safety. Will always listen to reason and offer solutions to problems.
Most notable skills are shapeshifting, being both bipedal and quadrupedal depending on what the situation calls for (quadrupedal for speed/being a mount for small children), crying a black goopy tar when it feels strong emotions, generic forest magic stuff, and necromancy, though typically as a last resort.
"I am a being of life, of the flowing, boundless energy that lies within these planes. It is not my nature to... interfere with it's flow, to take it away. And yet among the four guardians it is I who was granted the power of life beyond death. A sin, in my eyes. But you vile beasts with no respect for the life around them... you leave me no choice. Two can play at this game, your majesty." - Tysavv's speech before beginning its attack.

Race: Pixie (fae) (Kinda)
Size: Small
Names: Moca, Adalic, Cassen
Example lore/personality: Not quite a trickster, but has a somewhat skewed idea of how property works ("we're teammates, am I not allowed to go through your stuff?") Tries to help as much as they can, often seen flitting around apart from the other pixies due to their habit of wandering off and getting lost.

Greetings! In my many struggles as a dm one of the most painful things for me has been finding tokens for npcs that aren't ai generated. This has become an increasingly relevant and annoying problem for me and my fellow dms, so I've decided to start this. This is a library of npc tokens. It will have tokens, a few names to go with them, and a short description of the npc's story intended to pair with the design if you're looking for that as well.
All art is by me. Credit is not required among your players but you do not have permission to repost, claim or sell the designs, or otherwise use this art outside of your games without credit.
Main blog for art is @snake-and-goat.
Tagging and more info under cut (its long)
These will be tagged by standard classes (paladin, rogue, druid, wizard, ect.) Classes similar to each other (wizard and sorcerer, for example) Will likely both be tagged.
In terms of classes, I typically draw them with some headcanons. Paladins gaining gold sclera and hair highlights is one of them, and clerics having golden marks symbolizing subclass is another. (Ignore my spelling errors it was 2am)
Because of this, all cleric npc tokens will have these marks. digital paladins will have variants with and without the extra marks, paper won't
Tagging in full: We of course have the main classes
Barbarian
Bard
Cleric
Druid
Fighter
Monk
Paladin
Ranger
Rogue
Sorcerer
Warlock
Wizard
No class
as well as non class specifics, more will be added as seen fit.
Oathbreaker (Will have a different vibe from standard paladins)
Artificer
Criminal
Knight (god help you if you want to find one off google- I've tried)
Tavernkeep
Patron (in warlock terms)
Noble
Generic
Sailor
Royal
Important (Has more glamorous designs, like a captain of the guard)
Woodlands (foresty, grassy designs)
Aquatic (More water based designs, like someone who lives on a beach)
Outlander (somebody who's just kinda out there. Can be critters, or strange scary gangly elves who don't play a role in society. mixed bag.)
In terms of races, they are sorted as so: (More will be added as I see fit)
Humanoid
Human
Halfling
Dwarf
Elf (elves will typically have variants of different subraces)
Eladrin (will come with a variant of each season if digital)
Satyr
Tiefling
Fae
Anthro
Dragonborn
Triton (can be used as non triton, just fish in general)
Tabaxi
Avian
Aarakocra
Owlin
Kenku
Monster (Usually talking npcs, such as our good friend Tysavv, a previous bbeg. These are intended to be on the powerful side and are usually unique and don't fit in to standard dnd creatures)
