Hello future self,
If you are still checking this website and it is still in working order, please remember to look to the skies! I hope that life is much, much better.

A star created 1,800 years ago after the collision of two distant suns is set to appear in the night sky for the first time – as the light from the crash finally reaches the Earth.
Scientists predict that for six months in 2022, stargazers will be able to witness the birth of the new star, by fixing their telescopes near the Pisces and Cygnus constellations. Dubbed the Boom Star, it has taken nearly two millennia for its light to reach earth — where it will be able to be seen by the naked eye. Astronomers expect the collision to increase the brightness of the pair ten thousand fold, making it one of the brightest stars in the heaven for a time. The explosion, known as a Red Nova, will then dissipate and the star will remain visible in our skies as a single bright, but duller, dot.
Your not going to want to miss this appear in our sky as it’s a once in a lifetime event! Source

Meh
So over half my art has been flagged as inappropriate... even innocent sketches of characters dancing. That’s pretty whack.
I thought about making a comeback here... but meh. The community seems to have just devolved into being toxic, and now this? No thanks.
So for those interested in keeping up with my art and things, the places I’m currently most active at are:
- Patreon - Deviantart - Twitter - Discord
I have plans to find a new major e-homebase somewhere, even if I just have to make a site for myself. :u But until then, feel free to check me out above!
Thanks for all the support. SIDENOTE: If any of y’all have nice suggestions for places to check out, please let me know via one of the above links. ^_^

One of the most bizarrely cool people I’ve ever met was an oral surgeon who treated me after a ridiculous accident (that’s another story), Dr. Z.
Dr. Z. was, easily, the best and most competent doctor or dentist I’ve ever encountered – and after that accident, I encountered quite a number. He came stunningly highly recommended, had an excellent record, and the most calming bedside manner I’ve ever seen.
That last wasn’t the sweet gentle caretaking sort of manner, which some nurses have but you wouldn’t expect to see in a surgeon. No; when Dr. Z. told me that one of my broken molars was too badly damaged to save, and I (being seventeen and still moderately in shock) broke down crying, he stared at me incredulously and said, in a tone of utter bemusement, “But – I am very good.”
I stopped crying on the spot. In the last twenty-four hours or so of one doctor after another, no one had said anything that reassuring to me. He clearly just knew his own competence so well that the idea of someone being scared anyway was literally incomprehensible to him. What more could I possibly ask for?
(He was right. The procedure was very extended, because the tooth that needed to be removed was in bits, but there was zero pain at any point. And, as he promised, my teeth were so close together that they shifted to fill the gap to where there genuinely is none anymore, it’s just a little easier to floss on that side.)
But Dr. Z.’s insane competence wasn’t just limited to oral surgery.
When I met Dr. Z., he, like most doctors I’ve had, asked me if I was in college, and where, and what I was studying. When I say “math,” most doctors respond with “oh, wow, good for you” or possibly “what do you want to do with that after college?”
Dr. Z. wanted to know what kind of math.
I gave him the thirty-second layman’s summary that I give people who are foolish enough to ask that. He responded with “oh, you mean–” and the correct technical terms. I confirmed that was indeed what I meant (and keep in mind, this was upper-division college math, you don’t take this unless you’re a math major). He asked cogent follow-up questions, and there ensued ten or so minutes of what I’d call “small talk” except for how it was an intensely technical mathematical discussion.
He didn’t, as far as I can tell, have any kind of formal math background. He just … knew stuff.
I was a competitive fencer at this point in time, so when he asked if I had any questions about the surgery that would be necessary, I asked him if I’d be okay to fence while I had my jaw wired shut, or if it would interfere with breathing.
“Fencing?” he said.
“Yes,” I said, “like swordfighting,” because this is another conversation I got to have a lot. (People assume they’ve misheard you, or occasionally they think you mean building fences.)
“Which weapon?”
“Uh. Foil.”
“No, it won’t be safe,” and he went off into an explanation of why.
Turns out, he was also a serious fencer – and, when I mentioned my fencing coach, an old friend of his. (I asked my fencing coach later, and, oh yes, Dr. Z., a good friend of mine, excellent fencer.) (My coach was French. Dr. Z. was Israeli. I never saw Dr. Z. around the club or anything. I have no idea how they knew each other.)
So this was weird enough that later, when I was home, I looked Dr. Z. up on Yelp. His reviews were stellar, of course, but that wasn’t the weird thing.
The weird thing was that the reviews were full of people – professionals in lots of different fields – saying the same thing: I went to Dr. Z. for oral surgery, and he asked me about what I did, and it turned out he knew all about my field and had a competent and educated discussion with me about the obscure technical details of such-and-such.
All sorts of different fields, saying this. Lawyers. Businessmen. Musicians.
As far as I can tell, it’s not that I just happened to be pursuing the two fields he had a serious amateur interest in – he just seemed to be extremely good at literally everything.
I have no explanation for this. Possibly he sold his soul to the devil.
He did a damn good job on my surgery.

I have been basically off this site for years. Come back and this is literally the third “kill men” post I’ve seen within five minutes. Seriously? You think that only men are capable of violence?
I whole-heartedly agree with movements about educating the public on the importance of abolishing rape-culture, hetero-normality, and racial privileges/prejudices. But I’m disgusted every time I see it so casually suggested and accepted that the way to fix this is to become exactly what you despise.
You’re not going to fix any issues by killing off the majority party, and replacing it with the minority. You’re just going to become the very thing you set out to remove. The solution to a problem isn’t to replace the problem.
We collectively need to fight these issues and not tolerate them, no matter which direction they’re coming from. We need to band together to take power away from those that are abusing it and push society to do better than that.
The solution to violence from men isn’t to kill all men. It’s to not tolerate or enable the violent ones. The same with any of the topics introduced in this thread. It’s not a simple change. It will likely take a generation of movement. People by and large are stubborn, selfish, and prideful. At least here in the USA...
On a side note, I also agree with @zero-shinzaki. The majority issues we have tend to come from the older generation. In example, the American government. Or the “blame millenials” bullshit. The older generations like to refuse change to toxic mentalities. Why? Because they are comfortable in them. It’s what they’ve known, it’s what benefits them. What happens to our generations future isn’t their problem, they won’t be around for it. So should we kill off every person over 50? Or should we just start replacing them in positions of power?
i keep thinking about that tribe of baboons where all the alpha males died from eating poison garbage and then the baby boy monkeys were taken care of by the lady monkeys and never got socialized to be aggressive so they all just live peacefully and groom eachother instead of fighting and killing eachother and its been generations of that, it only took 1 wipeout of the aggressive males to change the whole social order of the species i am crying they must be so much happier

UPDATE: Slowly working on this LMAO Also -- not sure why I didn’t have this blog under my username to begin with...? WTF was going on when I moved my primary blog over...?
Update #2 - OH LOL DA has Nuciferyne.Tumblr.com on a block list for some reason??? THAT was why. DERP. So just swapped my redirect page to the cosmicalarune name so no one is totally lost. XD
Revamp!
Now that I have unlimited phone data (still no home internet, though) I’ve thought about attempting to come back and steadily maintain activity.
I feel like condensing my blogs from being specific topics (art, personal, etc) it would be better to just combine them and sort via tags instead. That may seem an obvious solution, but at the time I started them I was waaay more active online and felt it’d get too clogged.
So I’m going to try and tidy up my primary blog and combine this personal one and my outlet blog into that. I’ll keep Nucirotica separate so it can remain marked explicit. ;)
Thanks to the half thousand of you who are still sticking around! I’m sorry for being practically dead these past two years. It’s been crazy, still kinda is. Halfway through my degree now, at least! Steadily working in office and via art, and improving my overall health (physically and mentally)!
Hope you’re all well my lovelies! 😘
