For the ults! I'm really leaning into Felix's whole thing as a closet nerd, so it'd be like. Glasses on, looking through papers, and then he throws them forward and is like 'On it, boss!' . The cutiest patootie if you will. As for Vein, itd be in his like...intro video color palette, sitting at a table, whee he chucks his knife and the camera pans over to the enemy, colorful explosion thats implied blood.

As for character stuff!

Vein: I was originally going to deadass just make him obsidian since they look so similar. But I dont want to mess with canon too much so instead hes running the underground trading network. Think like... that incident during the wardance where they had biological tissue in their weaponry. Hes a little sick and twisted. That being said he's very honest and upfront with his clients, earning him a good and personable reputation despite his....eccentrisities.

Felix: Still a broke college student trying to get by. He has passion for his field but its been broken down by the industry. Vein is the first person to value his work and intelligence, who encouraged him to do what he loved and make him truly happy doing it. He's frightingly loyal because of that. While it seems he's largely left in the dark to the true nature of Vein's work, he's def not as blind to it as he likes to pretend.

As for their dynamic Ive already explained most of it. Vein is very supportive and encouraging. Many people think its because of how Felix just blindly follows him that he treats him so well, but he truly does have a soft spot for him, letting him get away with far more than he'd allow from anyone else. He also takes great efforts to hide The Horrors of his true nature in hopes of maintaining their relationship. Felix looks up to him, idolizes him. He's the reason Felix is still going on living. I think he honestly would be at least a little aware of whats being hidden from him, and he wouldnt care.

So! For ult animations, I already basically described Liu Xiao's. It would simply be a game of russain roulette, where he would spin the cylindr and shoot himself. Either confetti shoots out, or the screen goes to a black sillhouette on a white background, and the confetti is red, indicating he's been shot. As for Li Tianchen, it would show a spotlight on the enemy, Li tianchen would tell them all to get in their places for the show, where he would then slash them.

For individual character things:

Li Tianchen: In this things would be largely similar but when it comes to specifics not so much. His parents still kill eachother, his dad is still the worst, and the two are still taken in by Qian Jin. However, in this Qian Jin would ALSO be a member of the society, because that group lives for human rights violations. LiTianchen would, under his 'care', be carefully formed into a weapon, with genetic modification to match. He'd advocate for his sister to be left out of it all, doing everything he asks of him no matter how horrible just so she can be kept safe. Despite all this, the man still kills her in the end. He escaped and requested the help of an old friend to bring his sister back, but she can never truly be considered alive again.

Liu Xiao: While part of the same group, Liu Xiao and Qian Jin never saw eye to eye. Liu Xiao likes to take the power he has to seek revenge on those in power, using the resources granted to him to seek revenge against what he sees as wrong. While this typically finds him at odds with the IPC, it also, at times, finds him at odds with his own group, especially when his old friend comes back to him injured near death dragging a corpse along with him. He does whatever he can to save the boy's sister, and is more than happy to help him on his mission to annhilite the man responsible, no matter what it takes.

I basically already explained their dynamic together but... yea. Liu Xiao is just. The ultimate enabler.

For their ultimate animations, Qiao Ling would have a 'shock back to life' scene. Uh oh we're losing him!-- Well lets make sure we lose him faster. As for Li Tianxi, like I described she'd throw her stuffed animal in the air, where it would grow in size behind the team to cover and protect them.

Qiao Ling: She works under Natasha under her father's wish, and while she does have a talent for it her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. They are required by oath to assist anyone who needs medical attention, but in the event that a more unsavory person requires saving, Natasha os sure to put the, under Qiao Ling's care. She'll put them under in the classical manner,,, blunt force trauma. Though she supports Cheng Xiaoshi in his endeavor to find out more on his past and what he is, she worries he'll get himself hurt and tries to be the voice of reason.

Li Tianxi: Technically, shes already dead. Perhaps undr different circumstances than in canon, but the same result nonetheless. Li Tianchen was sure to bring her back though, seeking out an old friend of his to save her. She wasn't lucky enough to be revived. This was the best they could do. She stayed with him for a while but he's so hellbent on getting revenge for her that its starting to scare her. For now she's stepped away. And maybe, she can find someone capable of bringing her brother back to her.

In her time away from him she finds Qiao Ling. Li Tianxi is a bit worse for wear when she finds her, but Qiao Ling is technically a doctor, and she's more than happy to fix her body up. For once, she's gentle. She's careful not to hurt her and slowly gets her to open up about her brother. Big Sister...

More Notes:

First off some minor stuff, with their ult animations. For CXS as I mentioned in the little blurb by the camera itd be the little transformation of the camera into a cannon, then just shooting that in someone's face. For LG I'm sticking with the biblically accurate theme and it being like a closeup of a bunch of extra eyes opening and then zooming out to him with his hand out like "Do Not Fear My Child" ahhh pose.

As far as the two of them both separately and together!!!

Cxs: He's spent almost his entire life underground. Separated from anyone like him and worse yet, the only long life species there. It hasn't fully struck him yet since he's still kinda young(barely young adult) but he's already watched how fast everyone around him ages and it fucks with him. To combat this he plays helper! Gotta use what hes got for the greater good!! And to uh. fill the Void(tm). He doesn't remember anything about his past lives and has no means to look into it, at least until he comes across a certain memokeeper.

Lg: His backstory would be a bit of a mystery, but since this isnt actually something I'm writing out...he already knows CXS. He acts as though he'll help on his endeavor as a memokeeper, not because he has any personal stake. He tries to just kinda stick by the book and focus on his job whilst the traveller is fucking around nearby and keeping everyone distracted, but CXS keeps hunting him down for some reason.

And for both! LG is so unbelievably down bad for CXS. At first its simply because he kind of looks like the previous incarnation, though he doesn't believe its ACTUALLY him(bro. imagine like...faceless flashbacks that make the past lover look gender ambiguous. the PLOT TWIST it would be). Once he does realize he refuses to share his jade pendant and 'force' CXS to remember him, or to remember his feelings. He feels like it would be wrong, thoughe doesn't realize CXS has already fallen for him all over again.

Yes actually!! When I make characters that fall under different naming conventions(korean, chinese, etc) I try to pull from characters and people in real life. I went down a rabbit hole and found her, and thought that the name meaning alongside the character’s vibe would suit the oc! :0

oddly enough, i feel relieved. i know now where we stand with this country. i know now that this is a nation that, despite her protestations, does not want to be saved. at this point, i am not sure she can be anyway. but what i do know is that there are people here who still need protecting. there are disabled people here, trans people here, pregnant people here, brown and black people here, queer people here, and as long as my feet rest on american soil, those people are my family and they are worth protecting. so, like, maybe this nation doesn't want to be saved. that's fine. trump and his friends can have whichever parts they lay claim to. but they can't have us. so. if you have breath in your lungs, you're my people, you're my family and i am going to fight for you for as long and as hard as i can. that's all i've got at the moment. we'll figure out the rest together, okay?

This may seem silly but this is what I needed to hear in 2016, so I’m going to say it now. It’s okay to feel hopeless or angry or scared or betrayed or even just mildly nauseous. However you feel is the right reaction for you. You’re just not allowed to kill yourself. You are too good, too valuable, too important for this to be the thing that takes you. Yes the world is a mess, but taking one good person out of it isn’t going to make it any better.

So take care of yourself. Wrap yourself in that blanket. Get that hug. Eat that mug cake. Find your life preserver whatever it may be and keep going. You are stronger than you realize.

Deciding to do something when you’re feeling defeated is hard. If all you can take care of is you today, focus on doing that. Tomorrow or a week from now you can look at what your community needs to do to weather the storm in the long term. Yes communities are hurting now, but having to grieve one more person isn’t going to make anyone’s life any better. Please keep going. Please don’t let this election take you too.

I don’t know how many of you live in the United States right now. I’m not a large account so I don’t even know if people will see this but it has to be said anyway.

I am so angry. I’m angry, exhausted and disappointed in my country. I’m angry that people would choose a convicted felon—a rapist over a black woman. I’m angry that despite all of her qualifications, after all of her policies, all these real plans stated you would rather go for the ‘idea’ of a plan because he’s a man. This was never for better policies. This was never for the economy. This was white supremacy and sexism at its finest.

Because of the choices made by Americans today I and everyone I love will have to suffer. Millions of American minorities will suffer under his hand. Women will die. People will be put in camps and deported. No matter if you voted for or against him you WILL suffer. And you chose this. I truly believed in the people around me. I always strive to see the best in people and I thought, I really did, that everyone cared for each other as much as I did them. You just want to own me. You want to be above me and everyone I care about.

I don’t even know what to do anymore. I’m just so tired of speaking out and pleading to God to be treated like a human being. I’m tired of not being heard. I’m scared.

To those of you who do see this and are just as upset as I am know you are not alone in this. We have no one but each other. I beg of you please reach out to me and others who value you as a human being. If the government won’t support us we have to support each other.

The idea was revealed to me in an absolute fire of a dream and I thought: 'it may be a fun sandbox concept for our fandom, I need to draw this 😤'.

Therefore, I'm happy to provide you with the main trio, redesigned to be the bad guys (or are they??). It's a 'what if' CXS met LG a bit later in life, resulting in him becoming a delinquent, dragging QL along the crime path. Just imagine they have the same business, but use their powers more.. .cynically? And Qiao Ling has stronger character presence. One of a greedy girlboss witch, building her imperium, while trying to shelter a tad bit more unhinged CXS. Lu Guang is literally just sitting there. Classic.

I tried to make it look as legit as possible (comparing to official chara sheets) and added notes with some basic info about this setting. Hopefully, you people will help me expand it with your own ideas 👉👈 Please, feel free to make your own art or give me drawing suggestions!

There isn't that much canon Shiguang material out there. And I dread this season ending, leaving us for next two years to live on crumbs and one (1) hug screenshot. So, I'm hoping to create some fun independent content together with anyone who'd be interested <3
