Fuck Cancer. Even after a double mastectomy, stripping her of confidence and part of her womanhood, it still made its way back in with a vengeance. This is my beautiful sister. She's fighting breast cancer for the second time around and this time it has spread to her lymph nodes. She's been my hero and inspiration, always keeping her head up and still making everyone around her laugh their asses off. I've never seen someone fight with so much positivity. She's the mama of my adorable nephew that I love to brag about. And she needs all the help she can get to beat it again and for the last time. Please support if you can, any little bit helps. I've set up a Go Fund Me and link is in my bio! Much love to you 💕

Prisoners wearing the pink triangle (marking them as homosexuals), Sachsenhausen concentration camp, Sachsenhausen, Germany, December 19, 1938. Photo c/o CORBIS. [TW] Between 1933 and 1945, the Nazi regime oversaw the arrest of an estimated 100,000 men on the basis of suspected homosexuality. Of those arrested, some 50,000 were convicted and between 10,000 and 15,000 were sent to concentration camps. While the precise number of those who died is not known, scholars estimate that at least 60% of homosexuals sent to concentration camps perished in the camps. (Note: the term “homosexual” was applied to LGBTQs beyond gay men and likely applied, for example, to trans women; while lesbians were viewed as a threat to the state, it was relatively rare for cisgender women to face prison under anti-homosexual laws.) The treatment of those marked by the pink triangle was particularly brutal. Under the policy of “Extermination Through Work,” for example, homosexuals prisoners routinely were assigned the most grueling tasks. There also are many reports of SS soldiers using homosexuals for target practice, aiming specifically for the pink triangle over the heart. On January 27, 1945, seventy-two years ago today, Allied forces liberated Auschwitz, an event commemorated today, and each year, as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. For many homosexual prisoners, however, the liberation of the camps did not end the persecution. Homosexual survivors were not acknowledged as victims of Nazi persecution—and therefore were not eligible for reparations or other government assistance—for decades. Moreover, as homosexuality was still a crime in 1945, a substantial number of homosexuals were taken directly from a concentration camp to an Allied prison in order to serve out their terms. For more, see Pierre Seel’s “Liberation Was for Others.” Rudolf Brazda, believed to be the last surviving person who was sent to a concentration camp under anti-homosexual laws, died in France in August 2011; he was ninety-eight. #lgbthistory #HavePrideInHistory #NeverAgain #NeverForget #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay (at Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp)

Had In N Out for the last time last night. Pulled up to the drive thru window and the guy called me sir. 😒 it actually didn't bother me the way it used to. I've learned to accept that people have the perception that short hair means you're a guy and vice versa. Also, I actually like it when people call me handsome so why should "sir" be any different right? P.S. The cheeseburger wasn't even that great and I think it I won't miss it as much as I thought I would.

Time for a CHANGE.
Today the wife and I embark on a new journey. It's going to be difficult for the both of us but especially me, since I've been a carnivore my entire life and she's a vegetarian. It's not about "new year, new me" in the past week I've experienced being so sick to my stomach and feeling so off in a way I can't explain that we decided to become Vegan. I know it's going to be a process and it won't be easy but just asking for good vibes!!! 🙏🏽

Makes me so happy to see this. Not just because it's a lesbian wedding but because as an Asian American, I know how strict and close-minded a lot of asian families can be. In these photos the parents and families of these two beautiful individuals are genuinely happy for them. LOVE it! ❤

I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life. And it’s not just because of the glitter, faux fur, and gold hoops, but it’s because of these beautiful souls right here. They’re always at my side and when you’re fighting for your life it’s nice to have some people in your corner. I feel like I’m the luckiest gender queer in the world. They are my rocks, my safe space.
I’ve shed a lot of fucking tears in 2016 but first ones I’ve shed in 2017 are right now and they’re out of pure love and happiness. 💕 @nunthelez @mmm-poppy @blackgayze @kh2rac @markdoesstuff

9-year-old Avery Jackson has made history as the first transgender person on the cover of National Geographic.
She’s pictured above a quote that reads “The best thing about being a girl is, now I don’t have to pretend to be a boy.” You go, girl. (via Teen Vogue)
