I'm thinking about deleting my tumblr. I'm hardly here anyway. I don't get much joy out of this anymore- it actually feels like a waste of time. I don't need this

While far from perfect, my mental health is improving. I've been sober for over a year and a half now, and clean from cutting just over 8 months (about 4.5 months from self harm overall). I still get urges, but I think I'm making progress. My original post? Those thoughts were fucking overwhelming. Maybe posting them here really did help, idk. But I was able to fight them, went out with my friend anyway, and had a really great time. Even though I was completely anxious the entire time. And today, for the first time in years, I was able to have a holiday dinner without freaking out about calories.

Rambly post. Anyway. My real life is getting better. I think I should get rid of this platform because this doesn't add to my life, and all too easily it could take away from my progress. I'll leave this post up here a couple days and after that, I'll be gone from here x

Had one friend cancel on me entirely and another who made other plans and said "you can tag along if you want" so excuse me while I try not cry in my pillow feeling completely unwanted and depressed lol

171119 • discovered tea bags that (magically) makes iced tea and I’M IN LOVE. and on the bright side, it sugar free too!!!!! currently on a sugar free diet to see what changes it makes to my body :’-) so far, i’m seeing LOTS of improvement (including sleeping on time) which is fkn awesome HAHA

I’m so happy it’s the weekend because I finally got some actual studying done today :’) I finished the second tree on Duolingo and then went to enjoy the sunset on the beach.

10.23.19. I have an astigmatism in my left (dominant) eye and I have not been using my glasses as much lately. Bad. (I’m supposed to wear them at the end of the day to “give my eyes a break” when I read.) 

Also, this is how I like my workspace-completely covered with books and papers. The more real life “tabs” I have open on my desk, the happier and more productive I am. 🍂🍂🍂
