Phone guy again. To elaborate: my own therapist told me I was In a codependent relationship with my previous partner, and i beleive it. A reliance on a potentially visual and psychologically harmful device because it is the only comfort in an actively traumatic situation, to the point of feeling physically ill without it, fits the bill pretty damn well. Again, I understand the defensiveness, but I don't use psych terms lightly.

hitting the hornets nest for a second but i really wish there clear, established tags for those who experience sexual attraction to objects and those who only want them platonically. it is far, far too normalised to post both under the same tag and as an adult who's attraction is entirely sexual navigating this space makes me feel like such a creep. not only is this a space filled with a lot of minors but many are actively joining in with making sexual posts and barely anyone seems to be batting an eyelid

i think people are convinced that because it isnt "explicitly sexual" in the same way say intercourse is that it's fine, that it doesn't count as being "real porn" when does. because it's a kink. i try my best to do my part and block minors who are doing this and avoid ageless blogs but it's so exhausting to feel like im always on my tip toes

does making a clear, separate tags fix these problems? no but it at the very least establishes better boundaries than just shoving it all under one roof and calling it a day. do nsfw tags exist already? yes! but it defeats the point when they're also put under the main objectum tags which again! are a clear mix of sfw and nsfw posts! but it isn't always clear if they're even meant to be a nsfw tag in the first place despite the obvious sexual intent of the post

to be clear: i am not shaming minors for experiencing sexual attraction nor am i claiming every single objectum post is inherently nsfw and you're all secretly fetish mining. lets use critical thinking here. what im getting at is please keep this to private spaces if you're a kid. it's dangerous to be so open about sexual content and yes that includes stuff like wanting to fuck objects

im incredibly disappointed by all the adults who should know better yet they dont tag their sexual posts appropriately, let minors interact with them or worse engage with sexual posts made by minors. fucking shame on you. i hope nothing happens to anyone but the problem is that there are SUCH poor boundaries in this space that it COULD happen and that needs to worked on
