Alright ma'am, here's the current wardrobe.

First up, BÉBÉ

Cute and to the point. Very big so it still fits as well as anything can by this point. You can still see it's straining a bit

Next, Oh Baby

I like the flower design! The blue is a little weird, like it reflects more light than it feels like it should? Soft fabric though, and fits pretty well!

([OOC] This was the top I saw an actual pregnant woman wearing in public once and it was wild to think about how different the lives of these two identical shirts are, between hers and mine.)

Next, Solid Pink

Also cute, and very bright, but definitely fit me better earlier in my pregnancy. You can see the collar kinda getting pulled out as the fabric stretches, and a sliver of tummy hangs out the bottom. If you were on the ground and I stood over you, you'd be able to see a surprising amount of underbelly. The drafts on cold days take me by surprise.

Next, Hello Baby

This one is having a harder time keeping my whole belly covered. We're past the point of a cheeky sliver of underbelly and now it's kind of obvious that the bottom of my tummy is out. Still cute, still soft!

([OOC] This is the first maternity top I ever bought. I got it a couple years ago from target, and snuck it home past my roommates, and I cannot tell you how scandalous it felt to have! The print [and the elastic on the sides] make it undeniably a maternity shirt, so I would have had no way to like... say it was anything else if I got caught with it. It's kind of the gateway drug that got me into buying the other ones, and the shapewear for the bump, and frankly had a hand in me starting this rp blog altogether.)

Next, Blue Top with White Stripes

This one is great! The tie-around above the belly highlights how skinny I USED to be, which only makes the ballooning of my tummy below it stand out that much more. Very comfy and flowy, though like the rest leaves a fair bit of tummy out underneath if I don't have a belly band on.

Next, I'm In My Pregnant Era

I love this one too. The text is especially funny considering how long I've been carrying. How long IS my pregnant era? When is it going to end? I dunno, but the design is cute, even if the hem is slowly riding up my belly as I keep growing...

Finally, gray tank top...

This one doesn't fit. It doesn't even try. It's a maternity top like the rest, but it's so snug and leaves so much exposed that it makes me feel enormous, more so than usual. It hugs every pregnant curve and fails to let my underbelly even pretend to be covered.

([OOC] Pretty much all of my other maternity tops are like, XL, if not double or triple X because it's fun and sexy to be fetishy and push their limits. This one is a small. It never stood a chance.)

...so of course it's everyone's favorite, right?

Do you have a tape measure or a Doppler?

No Doppler but I DID finally get a tape measure to see the numbers...

Sooooo.... they measure weeks in centimeters from top to bottom, which is how you get some people who "measure 43 weeks" or what have you.... I measure a little more than that.

According to this measuring tape I'm 63 weeks pregnant, which, despite how big a number this is, is still smaller than what I actually am. 😅

Then of course I measure circumference at the widest point, and....

I'm actually not quite 60 inches around but 57 is VERY close..... 3 inches shy of being 5 feet around.... I'm bigger around than some people are tall... 😳

Then of course because my belly sticks out far enough to constitute a torpedo-belly by some metrics, I got the circumference on a different equator.... (I'm pregnant to use planetary terms....) and I'm 52 inches around just off the front.....

Those are the numbers currently... we'll see how much bigger they get...

If you ever give birth, do you think you'd look forward to getting knocked up again and growing from small all the way to huge again?

Oh for sure! Despite how much of a slog this pregnancy has been, I'd be lying if I said I didn't kind of want to go again after my body has healed.

After all, I've bought all these maternity tops. Be a shame if they didn't get used more!

I've lost count at this point, and I plan to try for a natural birth unless the doctor tells me otherwise!

I love that slight lumpiness to your belly. Reminds me of those IRL people who are so catastrophically pregnant that the foetuses (there's usually more than one) actively distort the shape of the womb.

[OOC] Thank you! It's mostly a result of the squishmallow I use making some weird shapes, but honestly we can turn a bug into a feature! It really does look like my belly is reaching it's maximum tightness around a few growing babies.
