Running from nightmares is so much easier with the help of a furry friend...

This was my character entry for the Little Nightmares 2 contest entry last week! I drew everything BUT had a good friend come in and color this thing to perfection.

This is the Patchwork Kid (or Patches) and their mechanic would involve their rat companion acting as a mount for them to traverse the game world and run from enemies. The Patchwork Kid themself has sewn their poncho out of the fabric of fallen children they've encountered on their travels, hoping that it'd give them the will to keep pushing onwards in this distorted world.
