i just saw a post that was like ‘next time someone tries handing me their baby without my consent, i’m gonna say no thanks’ and it brought me way back to my rant to some family about how people keep touching babies like before saying anything else, or will ask to touch and then not wait for an answer but then this post opened my eyes to the flip side of the phenomenon, which has also happened to me!!!!! where people will try to get you to hold their baby.

what is with everyone and touching babies. why is everyone so obsessed with holding a baby and making others hold their baby. keep your goddamn baby to yourself. what if it gets sick because the person had a virus or was contagious and didn’t know or just was a bit dirty or what if i sneeze on it or DROP IT, what if it fucking throws up on me!!!!!!! i think everyone should keep their babies to themselves (depending on the situation ofc) at the very least until they’re a year old. that’s my subway take or whatever

To my fellow trans USAmericans,

Greetings! I am here to inform you of the research I have done. After several hours of reviewing the new executive order titled “DEFENDING WOMEN FROM GENDER IDEOLOGY EXTREMISM AND RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT” I have come here with my notes. Firstly I noticed there are no mentions of intersex people in that entire document, as in people who are born with both sperm and eggs. I am unsure what will happen to these people, however currently, if you fall within that population, you may be safe. Secondly in the definition, you are only defined as the size of your sex cells, therefore if you are somehow able to prove you have eggs smaller or the same size as sperm, or you have sperm larger or equal to the size of an egg, you are technically classified as the other gender, I don’t know if that is possible but if it is can science tumblr please look into it. Additionally a lot of items are based around trans women ( I wish it wasn’t), however this does provide opportunities for the trans men out there. Trans men are technically allowed to be housed in male detention centers as it is not explicitly stated like it is for trans women. Also, there are gender neutral domestic and sexual violence shelters still open, where men may go, as well as women, allowing for trans people to seek shelter. The government has taken down all their official toolkits, however there are still non government resources out there, and resources from other countries (I think). Nextly as this ban affects mostly government workers and contractors, there are a few things to help. Most notably, for the trans kings, queens, and nonbinary beans who work in for the national parks. FEHB is funded through government contributions and since there is no way to prove that your specific gender affirming healthcare came from taxes and not the $55 billion dollars from national park entry you can still receive gender affirming healthcare. For those who are not there are resources also available for those on Medicare or Medicaid. Point of pride offers HRT and surgery scholarship based programs (you write an essay they provide funds). They also offer a free binder/trans fem shapewear. I believe Genderbands does something similar as well. In this bill there is nothing against dress policies as dressing as your preferred gender. There are as far as I’m aware no rules against how you present other than occupational hazards (having hair up so it doesn’t get caught, etc). There are many business casual ways to look androgynus including pant suits. this order is changing the “X” determination on passports, Visas, or global entry cards, however as no legislature has been passed about previously issued cards, you may keep it oentalyy free for know if you have a gender different than your sex without punishment due to ex post facto laws. While gender will no longer exist in federal documents, you can still ask those around you to use your preferred pronouns and nicknames (read prefered names). The last things I have is there is to be no prision gender affirming care which I don’t really have a loophole around because it’s …prison. My only loophole is get out on parole early? Finally as far as I am aware, while there must be segregation in “intimaté spaces” there are no rules about only having enough space for a single, one toilet restroom (which exist) or single, one shower showers. This may take longer however if it is more comfortable for you it may be worth the wait.

In light of the constitution and bill of rights being taken down from Whitehouse.gov, along with a number of websites like reproductiverights.gov going offline, I implore people to start doing their research now. Screenshot and save important online resources, especially those regarding immigration, women's rights, LGBT, religion, race, and anything else Trump had spoken against. Buy the books that are likely to be banned. Restricting access to information is just one of many steps they will take to persecute and oppress. Don't let them win.
