"So..um, I found these taweret plushies just near at my giftshop..they..look..so..bloody adorable!!! Did you also know that Taweret is an Egyptian goddess primarily associated with childbirth, fertility, and protection, especially for women and children. She’s one of those deities who wasn’t worshipped in massive temples like Osiris or Ra, but you’d find her everywhere in household shrines, amulets, and charms basically the ancient Egyptian equivalent of a divine babysitter and bodyguard!!! So yeah, a literal mashup of three of the most dangerous animals in Egypt but all in the service of protection. She’s terrifying to evil spirits and malevolent forces, but sweet as honey to mothers and children. Sooo What did she do? She guarded households, particularly pregnant women and newborns. During labor, women would call on Taweret to protect them from harm and ensure safe deliveries. She was also linked to the demon Ammut, as they share the same composite appearance, but Taweret had the protective, maternal role....sorry am I talking too much?"

Hey steven :3 what's your thoughts on vegan substitutes for meat? My friends dad who's vegan says what's the point if you're trying to recreate meat you may aswell just have the meat
