Pollux

Budew - Timid - Tera Ghost - Poison Point
"I love the sun, but I don't like crowded places."
Rosa persona, around 1 year old, 0'09", 2.7 lbs - The twin pistil of Thornmire, Pollux is a crossbreed between the Roserade and Cacturne lines. Although originally in the care of a professional breeder and battler, they surrendered the twin Budew to us after realizing they weren't exactly the right choice for the job.
Pollux is quite shy. She's prone to running off and scattering Worry Seeds all over the place when scared. However, she is also exceptionally quick to say sorry. She is much more subdued than her brother Thornmire, who seems to show off the Cacturne side of the family more.
As a Grass-type, she needs plenty of sunlight. Clean water would also be a plus if you're looking for more vivid flowers. However, she also releases toxic pollen which may cause allergic reactions, especially during the spring and summer when her bud opens up. With that being said, you should check up with a Pokemon Center at least a week prior to adopting a grass-type Pokemon like this one.
We also recommend that she be situated in a greenhouse until she eventually evolves. We wish the best for everyone.
We will be covering Thornmire next Monday.
If you would like to adopt Pollux, please send us a message via a comment or reblog on this post stating your qualifications and reasons for adoption. We will send a form to whoever we believe is the best fit for her after enough applications have come in. Note that Pollux may not be the best choice for beginning Trainers or Trainers with allergies!

Our intern told us about this weird phenomenon they saw recently last night where the sky turned red for a while and then stopped. Nobody else happened to see it, either. Should I be worried...?

Our photographer has finished their work quite early, so guess what - you're all getting a scheduled post! Look out at exactly 12 o' clock next Monday!
...Oh, now that we mention it, we could switch our weekly adoption posts to Sunday, but that'd be awfully close to the "nice/naughty mon of the week" project we're currently setting up, so...
Our next adoption post will come tomorrow on Monday! We've got some extra time today to prepare, so be prepared yourself!

Pancake

Skitty - Jolly - Tera Fairy - Cute Charm
"Is there any catnip around here? No, I don't need it for a skit or anything."
Felis primus, around 1 year old, 2'01", 23.3 lbs - Pancake was surrendered to us when she was just a teensy little kitty, and has been looking for her home ever since! She's small and cute, but don't be fooled - this little junior's full of energy, and will zoom around your home in record times! Be sure to give her lots of high energy activites so she doesn't get bored!
Pancake has a LOT of things she loves, and a lot of those things involves chasing things. Her tail, toy Rattata, laser pointers, feathers... You name it, she'll go to the ends of the world for it! Consequently, she doesn't like standing still. Unless it's naptime. You should never interrupt Pancake's naptime.
Surprisingly enough, she's very comfortable with strangers, and will often come up to them for scritches and headpats. She's very affectionate - too little cuddles in a day, and she'll get very, very sad!
Overall, Pancake is a perfect playmate for every occasion, whether indoors or outdoors! We're hoping that someone's willing enough to play along with her so she can finally have the perfect partner for her dream playdate - and countless more to come!
If you would like to adopt Pancake, please send us a message via a comment or reblog on this post stating your qualifications and reasons for adoption. We will send a form to whoever we believe is the best fit for her after enough applications have come in.

Breeze is up for adoption as of 6/13/2025! She's been classified as "Companionship Only". Again, if you would like to apply to adopt her, reblog or comment on this post stating your qualifications and why you would like to adopt her!
Breeze

Swablu - Careful - Tera Fairy - Natural Cure
"They may look like cotton candy, but they're my wings."
Siala soprana, about 12 weeks old, 1'04", around approximately 3.2 lbs? - female, flighty, and fluffy as all distortion. Seen here laying on top of my big ass cooler. This stray little birdie was taken in by the Sootopolis SPCP (hey, it's my workplace!) after a bad storm that left her injured and separated from her bank. Although we've nursed her back to health, for one reason or another, she now seems to be much more comfortable amongst humans than her own kind.
Notably, her cloudy wings appear to be larger and fluffier than most Swablu out here in Hoenn. We're not sure if this impedes her flight, as she hasn't flown since her wing fully healed, but it's something she seems to be proud of nonetheless. However, due to her flightless nature, it'll be necessary to do a lot of legwork to bring her to places she wants to go. Especially the outdoors, she LOVES perching on balconies.
She's still a little shy, and a bit apprehensive towards flight for multiple different reasons, but I'm sure she'll warm up quickly to anyone willing to give her a forever home!
If you would like to adopt Breeze, please send us a message via a comment or reblog on this post stating your qualifications and reasons for adoption. We will send a form to whoever we believe is the best fit for her after enough applications have come in.

Howdy, it’s Ajax from @ajaxdoesbattles, great to see a Hoenn charity on here! I’m pretty sure y’all have worked with Fourtree Rehab and Rescue Center before, which is who I do most of my rehab work for. I’ve tried to get them to make a rotomblr but so far they just have a FalinksBook they never update
Haha! Funny story - we never really had much of a social media presence before, but Jared's popularity inspired us to get on the whole Rotomblr shtick. Maybe we should try an Indeedeestagram too, or whatever you people call that-- nevermind... What were we talking about again...?
Oh, right! We've done plenty of work with Fortree Rehab! And the rescue center! As well as... many other nonprofit charities across the region of Hoenn, obviously. Having Rangers in your network does that to you sometimes.

Hello, welcome to Rotomblr. It’s chill here, but watch out.
So, what’s your favorite berry?
@woobats-and-witch-hats
Er... what do you mean watch out--
Oh! I think I like Tamato Berries a lot! Micle Berries too... and probably Durin Berries and Roseli Berries too. But I'm all about Watmel Berries, personally! ...Unless you count Razz Berries.

Welcome to the official Rotomblr account for Sootopolis City's own non-profit SPCP!
I'm Tamaki, local Johto enthusiast and runner of this one singular account! I have two loyal partners - a Wigglytuff and an Indeedee - who both help out in the shelter from time to time. I'm also raising a 3-month-old Torchic and a 2-week-old Togepi!
Our main social media manager goes by the name of Jared, last name supposedly "Nineteen". He works as a Ranger in Hoenn most of the time, though he often comes back to base to volunteer from time to time! His own Rotomblr is @owtheshedinja, which seems to have been garnering a lot of attention as of late - good for him! His posts here will be tagged as -J.
To be fair, I don't know a lot about this "formatting" thing, so I'm really grateful to Jared for his help with the links and photos and such. (And for letting me use his account for this.)
We hope you think about visiting us soon! We really need more helping hands...
Adoption Masterlist
A sideblog for @owtheshedinja whose main purpose is to properly introduce the Sootopolis Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Pokemon, which Jared has now repeatedly referenced.
Just so you know, Jared only runs this blog SOMETIMES. Most of the time it'll be this one random intern with a Wigglytuff.
Run by @rotomblrsmazeoflife. Obviously inspired by @pokemonpetfinder, Petfinder itself, as well as the Heaven on Earth & Perry's Place cat sanctuary Instagram account, bless their soul
