Are those frontpages in the room with us?
*Not only did the Impromptu picture from Prince Louis make the News worldwide, it was almost instantly the front page of Major newspapers in the UK and internationally in Austria, Germany, Australia and Spain*

don't agree at all with the "they shouldn't deal with the rota" narrative at all but honestly some of them suck so bad
All the Stans of every celebrity/royal are the same. When their fave do something (good or bad), the stans always have a talent for twisting everything to paint their faves as masterminds, lol.
The same people who are now applauding KP for wanting to exclude the rota, were the same who were complaining about Harold wanting to exclude them too (he was a complete asshole tbh) but it’s the same 🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s tiring, can’t believe some girls are always defending everything W/KP have done since K went to surgery. There are things of course that were provoked by some idiots, but it’s concerning that some people can’t see anything wrong with certain questionable decisions they have made.
This wasn’t a mastermind/kingly move they want to portray, they look petty, hurt and the worst of all, there is a deal between press and palace to protect the children’s privacy, let’s wait and see if the ‘kingly’ move, doesn’t provoke more scrutiny towards those children (because then the stans will only blame the press (they are starting to look like Harold, complaining about the press without recognizing what their faves sometimes take bad decisions ). Palmer is a complete fool, but he has a point that even if the press are awful people, they will find a way to go war with KP
yep yep yep

I just don’t think KP wanted to have reach I think they wanted it to be quiet. The stans think KP is sticking it to the media but I think W&K don’t want too much attention right now which I get. Palmer saying most Brits don’t know the names of the kids is laughable like come on! It’s also laughable to say that views on social media means something substantial. I swear everyone needs to take time out and breathe there’s weirdos counting Louis’ teeth saying the picture is old and people crying about honours and KP fighting with the press. I think W&K have gone past that stage and likely just want a quiet year for themselves and their kids after everything that’s happened. It’s like there’s no middle ground anymore. Everyone should touch grass and reconvene when Kate comes back.
If that's what they want, then, carrying on as normal is the way to go. Breaking what it was done prior tends to bring more attention. Like, I'm sorry, I just think KP still doesn't get why what happened, happened. Either way, I don't particularly care. I don't work for them and I'm not the one who holds that position, so... If they want to go this way, it's their choice.

WK stans are far more insufferable than sussex squad at this point. Now they’re celebrating KP excluding the media, and that the press agencies will lose money because they didn’t get birthday pictures the night before.
I can give them that they don’t know that agencies are not allowed to license the handouts for money, that they are only allowed to distribute them according to a set of rules like only for news editorial, only to be used before a certain date and so on (and that they should be glad KP isn’t enforcing their copyright because whew would fan pages etc go down for basically stealing the pictures and using them without permission from KP). And therefore whatever money they will lose for not being permitted to distribute the picture is not a lot. Anyway, if you don’t really know that it’s fine because not many actually care to find out. But this celebration of excluding the media… as we could see with Harry and Meghan it didn’t hurt the media or the public that they went down that road. And the same people who were questioning that are now cheering for WK just because they like WK better.
But anyway, social media have really shown me that some people really think that for example freedom of the press is only valid when you like what they’re reporting. And that they have such a huge misunderstanding of the use of social media vs traditional media, and how the public consumes it. I really saw someone say that the 2 million views Louis’s picture got on twitter showed the reach and proved Richard Palmer wrong in saying that many britons probably doesn’t know Louis’s name. 2 million. The UK has a population of almost 70 million, include the Commonwealth realms and 2 million views worldwide are just laughable.
The funniest thing though is that for example PA got a handout of Louis’s picture, so…
A stan is a stan no matter who they support. I said years ago that if you deleted the names on H&M stans and W&K stans's "think"pieces very often you wouldn't be able to say about what couple it was about.
About the whole pic thing. I think it's stupid from KP. They aren't making a favour to the media by releasing a pic. It's meant to build a connection with the public. If they want it to have less reach it's on them, really. The people do not owe them attention and most probably didn't know about the b-day or cared to find the pic by themselves.
Anyways... about the stans, it's the kind of perspective I would imagine people that can't tell apart a paparazzi from a photographer can have.

If you want some entertainment this fine morning read the replies to Richard’s tweet, where royal watchers fail to understand that no, the general population does not go around thinking about the royals on the daily and yes, many of them might not even know the children’s names because they don’t really care

..............he's not wrong. and for the millionth time, the mother's day situation got out of control and everyone was doing too much but it would never be an issue in the first place had KP not released a badly photoshopped image.

Mantle of the Royal and Distinguished Order of, King Carlos III, Spanish, late 18th early 19th century
"The Royal and Distinguished Order of Carlos III was created in 1771 by King Carlos III in gratitude for the birth of his first grandson, who ensured the dynasty. Its raison d'être was to reward people who had rendered a special service to the king or the Crown, regardless of the noble titles of those awarded. As Carlos III was especially devoted to the Immaculate Conception, he placed the Order under its protection, with the image of the Virgin appearing in the centre of the cross on the necklace. In addition, he proclaimed himself Chief and Grand Master of the Order, establishing that in the future his successors would also be. The knights that were part of the Order were of two classes: Knights Grand Crosses and Knights Retired. The motto of the Order is "Virtue and Merit", and the insignia are made up of a cross, a blue silk band with white outlines and a cloak, the making and use of which was perfectly regulated: it had to be white, but its fabric changed, being silk for the Knights Grand Crosses, or taffeta for the Knights Retired. The hood was azure blue speckled with silver. The mantle would be adorned around its perimeter with wide borders, combining blue and silver. This model of cloak can be admired in the beautiful portrait of Carlos III that Mariano Salvador Maella painted in 1784, preserved in the Royal Palace of Madrid. The Order was reformed by Carlos IV in 1804, expanding one more category of knights, the Supernumeraries. The band changed, dividing into three equal parts: the central white, and the blue sides. The mantle became azure blue, completely covered with stars embroidered in silver, keeping the hood and borders the same as the original model. This is the case of this mantle, which belonged to King Fernando VII himself."
