I know the majority of folks who follow us online don’t live in Wisconsin, so this could mean absolutely nothing to you. But we are so excited to announce that we’ll be playing at Summerfest on July 3 on the Miller Lite Oasis stage!! ☀️

This will be our first time playing on a Summerfest main stage - something that we’ve dreamed of doing for nearly a decade now, and we can’t believe it’s finally happening!

Playing a Summerfest main stage is one of the real rites of passage for any Milwaukee-based band. We’re honored to have the opportunity to take our place alongside so many of our friends and heroes. If this manages to find anyone in the Milwaukee area, we hope y’all come out on July 3, and join our expedition! 🌲🧡

Do you, your loved ones, or your mortal enemies live in Milwaukee, WI? Do you (or they) enjoy pop-rock music, fantasy adventure stories, expeditions in the unknown, or banjos?

If so, then good news! We are Oh Geeez, Not Again and we are your new favorite band! We’ll be playing all around our hometown of Milwaukee this month, and we hope you’ll join us for the journey!

On May 8, we’re supporting our friends Life After 5 and Violet Wilder at the cozy Falcon Nest. Music starts at 8pm - swing on by! Tickets on sale here:

Then, we head over to Faklandia Brewpub to take part in Breaking and Entering’s 2025 Summer Kickoff show!

We’ll share the stage with Adam Blackwood, Fairy Astronaut, and Cozy Danger. Get ready for “summer weather” with us!

And finally, on May 22 we embark on one of our biggest expeditions yet as we take the stage at Milwaukee’s coolest and greenest new venue Vivarium to support Portland, OR rockers Glitterfox.

We’ve been dreaming of playing on the Vivarium stage since the venue opened, and we’re thrilled for the opportunity!

what bands inspired you guys your music is so good

Glad you enjoy our music! We take inspiration from three main genres:

1990/2000's pop-punk (Fall Out Boy, Green Day, All-American Rejects)

2000's country music (Keith Urban, Sugarland, early Taylor Swift)

2010's alt. pop (twenty one pilots, Walk the Moon, Neon Trees).

Together, our expedition is built on these cornerstones and made into the Oh Geeez, Not Again sound! 🗺️🌲🧡

Been honored to get some great hometown press for our new song “Think Fast”! A huge thanks to all the publications who have covered us!

First up, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee premiered the song and wrote a lovely article to go with it!

We have a new song out today!!!!

“Think Fast” has been in the works since 2022. That year, we were busy writing songs for season 2 of The Owl House. We wrote “Think Fast” for the episode Them’s The Brakes, Kid - detailing Eda and Raine’s first meeting. But we never had the time to record it back then, and the song was forgotten.

…or rather, it was forgotten by everyone except our intrepid drummer, Alex. Alex believed in this song when none of us did, and was always asking when we were going to finally record “Think Fast”. And after releasing our album MAPMAKER last year, we realized that it was finally time to bring “Think Fast” into the world.

So we returned to the Boiling Isles, but with a MAPMAKER mindset. We gave “Think Fast” a pop-punk makeover, with big guitars and even bigger drums. We even threw in a synth solo and some banjos to give it that Oh Geeez, Not Again flair! 😎🪕

At its heart, “Think Fast” is a song about finding finding someone who inspires you - a friend who makes you feel unstoppable. While the world may try to keep the two of you down, your desire for adventure always breaks you both free. For Eda and Raine in The Owl House, that was a freeing moment, and we hope that there’s someone you’ve met on your journey who’s made you feel the same. 🧡
