Why did I buy a switch?

Ever since it's release I wanted a Switch, watched youtubers play it and played on my friends devices, but never had the money. Then a few years later I had enough money, but still didn't buy it because I "knew" that whenever I'd buy it, Y'all would announce the next gen console. Long story short, this didn't happen for years, I was about to start an internship and wanted to be sure I could relax in evenings after full time days of work. And Mario Wonder released which I loved, so it was a win win. TLDR: I have always loved Nintendo and could finally afford it and was tired of waiting for next gen. Now why did I post this? I seem to have to tell this to people often enough to the point where I am done with rewriting this whole story every single time.
