REVIEW ON “JOKER”
I had to take this out of my chest.
Joker, as the character, saved DC. And he has always been doing so.
He did again as “Joker” goes out to cinemas. You’ll never see any film like this. It is art, but not in the sense that it follows the hipster tradition of the art house genre—doing experimental crap like those shakey-shakey shots to *convey tension* and shit. The acting is art. The writing is art. The direction is art. Delivered in a clear and clean manner.
This is no one-dimentional portrayal of a childish comic book villain. This is no Marvel tho. This is the Joker, a madman. And this is a film about the pathology of madness. This would have been written by the great Dostoyevsky. But, this is a film about our times. An Age of Madmen where we are all “jokers.”
Ugh. It’s just so fucking good.

How to make futurist poetry:
1. Use onomatopoeia.
2. Use experimental typography.
3. Glorify war and all kinds of contradiction.
4. Write an art manifesto and read it at the end of performances.
5. Mass produce!
