Leith is not playing around. I like how both Eddie and Leith are kinda protecting their partners here. Like Eddie is upset about being woken up, sure, but he's also upset about Stella being woken and likely scared. Leith is angry because EDDIE READ THE ROOM.

I'm sorry, Eddie what do you THINK that sound was?? /silly

Immediately silent. I mean this is likely the first time he's EVER seen Harley cry, much less be in such a vulnerable state. It looks like HE short-circuited for a moment.

Oh, is that... concern? Guilt possibly? He is definitely thinking about stuff now.

Further compounds the above point. A main point of thinking about Harley has been shaken at this point because I think Eddie kinda forgets that Harley still has human emotions and stuff. I think this was a big reminder to him that things that happened have a bigger impact on Harley's mental health than Harley lets on.

You can't imagine how hard it was not to show you any WIPs from this comic. I wanted it to be a surprise

THEY GOT SNOTTY CAT TOYS

He's already shaking a little before he fully processes what is happening. Subconsciously knows something is wrong.

Looking into Harley's eye. We can see White on the edge, but also Harley's eyes are wide, possibly from fear or confusion.

Wise eyes from further away. We know he is startled but isn't sure what is going on yet.

The point in which he realizes what is wrong. He is looking straight head now, and his eyes are yellow. He isn't paying attention to the movement he saw, he is only focused on the fact that he can't move. He hasn't yet connected to two.

The more assertive "You are not real" followed by a less assertive "Are you?" He isn't certain.

There's a subtle difference in the eye shape. There's a second ring around the main iris.

At first glance the fluff on the Yarnaby toy made it look like it was also trembling.

For most of the dialogue on page 4, there is a secondary dialogue. Harley is kinda saying two things at once. Then after this, the dialogue from Harley is faded on page 5, while White's is not. Harley isn't speaking anymore on page 5, its all internal.

IS THAT HIS FINGERS POKING THROUGH OH MY GOD

VERY specific hand placement when we acknowledge what White says right after, "Give it back." He is touching Harley's stomach. Harley has White's stomach and likely intestinal tract.

Hate the smile. Absolutely terrifying. ANYWAY, White reaches inside of Harley. Possibly reminiscent of Harley's transformation, or to "take back" what's his.

The point in which Harley can move again, we see increased shaking right before this around Harley's wrist as well.

He pulls away VIOLENTLY. He pushes his chair back, and practically throws his body to the side to get away from White.

There are different variations of the eyes on every screen, but they are all smudged to represent Harley crying. Also only one is looking a different direction, they are mostly looking towards Harley, except the one on the lower left, which is looking down more.

I interrupt your scheduled angst to present "the dad who didn't want a cat"

The shine from the tv turning on, but this is an unusual circumstance. Normally the eye just shows up, but it's so bright it created a glare.

The yellow electricity that follows along the wires before Harley's voice comes through. Also that his speech is cut off, like he switched on the microphone only midway through.

poor baby got spooked

It kinda looks like Harley is looking around. It almost seems like this is an involuntary reaction. Between the way the audio originally came through, and the way he doesn't actually seem to be seeing anything.

I love how bright this shows the tv screen is. Also Snotty looking at Leith while shaking :( poor baby is scared and wants comfort. (Like someone else-)

He threw himself against the wall. You can tell based on the hand, and then in the next image he is sliding down the wall. He pressed himself as far from the door as he could, but couldn't actually proceed further down the hall.

When Leith popped out, he got spooked and bit himself. Also not shown is the way Harley is calling out for someone. He just wants someone to acknowledge him, he needs the reassurance that he is awake.

He drags Leith down. He also says right after this "closer, please." The only way this man can ask to be held.

Lullaby Butterfly

Name: Melinda, aka Mel

She was 16 when turned into Lullaby. It was well known that she could calm down the kids at playcare, so when she aged out, they turned her into an experiment to see if she could assist with calming the experiments and children.

After THOJ, she guards the orphans. Now, this is up to interpretation based on theories. I theorize that the orphans are long gone. They were put to sleep with the red gas and either never woke up OR were removed by special task forces. This means that Lullaby only THINKS she is guarding the orphans. She ‘tends’ to them like she would before THOJ but she’s tending to shadows of memories long past.

Lullaby Butterfly was created to counteract the Catnap fiasco. She was a nightlight/music box. Her wings would light up and she played lullabies on loop for an hour when activated. As a bigger body, Lullaby can only communicate through music or singing, and often uses sign language. Her bigger body was a huge success for being able to make her fly. However, because she is lightweight, her skin is more fragile and cracks easily.
