after seeing the drawing of pom with yonny and dingo I'm curious. What is pom's relationship with all the crew members of the rescue Corp? Friends, Enemies, Aquantinces, in love, etc?

HELL YEAH an opportunity to ramble, i'm gonna answer this in the perspective of my pom wraith au lol

Pom and Shepherd are on good terms! They connect well over being mutual dog lovers (since Pom very quickly becomes a dog lover after spending time with Oatchi). Pom works well when she's receiving clear direction on what to do, and thus appreciates Shepherd's command over the mission. Shepherd's very slightly miffed that the new recruit mastered working with Oatchi so quickly, but she's much more happy that they get along so swimmingly.

Pom and Collin are also on good terms. Pom isn't used to having someone who worries over her, so she's not always sure how to interact with him. Ultimately though, she thinks he's sweet and she's happy to help with anything he'd request of her. Collin meanwhile finds himself more worried than not over the new recruit. She's clearly very capable, but she's quite impulsive on the field and often getting into danger... Not to mention, she seems to runs on very little sleep and food.

These two have a tense relationship. Initially, Pom was very open and curious about what the doctor was doing, but eventually Yonny started to look at her differently and it scared her. She's aware of how sharp Yonny is, and she's beyond concerned he's going to discover her secret (especially given the fact he's the doctor, and any thorough medical examination of her would reveal what she is). Yonny is incredibly hard to read, so it's difficult to tell what he really thinks of the new blood.

Pom and Dingo are friends? Maybe? Pom is a little confused by him. He'll give her unwarranted advice on how to perform well on the field, but he doesn't come out to help her, despite being the self proclaimed number one. And then he claims he's the one responsible for her success. He's kind of annoying... Meanwhile, Dingo is consistently surprised by how well the rookie performs. And maybe he's a little jealous of how easily she seems to be succeeding. He wouldn't admit it, but she's impressive... and maybe just a bit cute.

Pom and Russ are on completely neutral terms. Pom doesn't completely understand everything he talks about despite her best efforts, and it doesn't help that she tends to avoid using his creations anyways. Russ meanwhile basically just views the new recruit as an opportunity to test his new inventions.

Pom and Bernard are on decent terms. Pom is always trying to analyze the people around her, and she's surprised that Bernard is kinda hard to read. He seems impossibly supportive and kind -- Enough so that she's uncertain of his intentions, so she's still reserved around him. Bernard meanwhile is just legitimately very supportive. He thinks the newbie is made of something special and is a WONDERFUL addition to their SUPERB crew.

It also goes without saying that Pom and Oatchi are besties. They become close very quickly with their work together on the field, and they trust one another. Who could ask for a better rescue dog!!

Introducing the 2024 Fandom Snowflake Challenge!

I'm Turps, and it's my pleasure to welcome everyone to the Snowflake Challenge 2024!

Many of you will have done Snowflake before, if you have, welcome back, it's lovely to see you. If you haven't, again, welcome. It's always fantastic to see new people, and we hope you have fun.

So, what is the Snowflake Challenge? Well, to go back to the very beginning and the inspiration for this challenge, Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance, sang the song 'Every Snowflake's Different Just Like You' and some lyrics from that song are Big fangs. Small chin. There are so many special things about you.

And that's what Snowflake is about. That every snowflake is different, that every person is special in their own unique way, and the challenge is here to embrace those differences and hold them up to the light.

January can be too cold, too dark, too hot, too everything and we want Snowflake to spread a little joy in what can be a bleak time. Each little glimmering snowflake joining together to create a blanket of positivity and happiness as we're reminded of the things that we love.

Fandom can be a wonderful place, and we want people to embrace that, to talk about their passions -- and it has to be noted here, those passions don't have to be narrow and based on TV/film/book/music fandoms; everything counts. If you love weaving with yak hair, tell us. If your thing is creating suspension bridges out of spaghetti, well let us know, don't hide those skills and those loves, we want to know all about them.

From the 1st, we'll be posting challenges every second day throughout January. Some challenges will have been used before, some will be new, but all can be answered in any way that you want and to your own interpretation. There are no wrong answers.

Also, please know that no one is taking note of what challenges you take part in. You can do every one. You can do one or none. You can do a challenge and not link at the comm, that's perfectly fine. But, if you do link at the community, we do encourage other Snowflakes to check out the links, because there is a whole wide world of loves out there waiting to be encountered and read about. You can also respond to the challenge at any time, on the day that it's issued or a year later, it all counts.

The mods who post the challenges are located throughout the world, so while the challenges will be posted on specific dates, due to time zones they will be posted at different times during the day, so don't worry if a challenge is posted at 9am your own time one day and 9pm the next.

Hello, everyone! Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey for the event. I have compiled all the results as to what our prompts this year will be!

Since it seems the proposed dates worked for a majority of possible participants, Survive Week will indeed take place from January 28th to February 3rd!

If there is enough interest for another event in 2025 (oh gosh, the future...), then we can surely revisit that idea! For now, I hope these prompts allow the creative juice to flow!!

THIS is a really good question. at the beginning, she doesn't necessarily resent who she is -- she just subconsciously wants for a place to belong, and for people to fit in amongst. she absolutely recognizes she's different but she doesn't fault herself for that, she just focuses on trying to fit in

now, as time passes and she comes to understand people more, her stance might change -- especially if she manages to spend time with people she cares about and makes friends, but ends up getting ousted or otherwise ostracized. at that point, she might idly wish she was someone else.

for the most part though being a wraith is something she doesn't dwell on, it's just a part of her that she accepts without thinking.

Welcome to the 2024 Teen Wolf Bingo! This year, we will be focusing on situations. We have a list of 50 of them spread across 30 bingo cards that will hopefully inspire you to write or make fan works!

The bingo will run from 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2024.

This blog will mainly be for the promotion of the bingo and completed bingos by participants. (Sometimes there are reblogs of other events that are happening as well in the greater Teen Wolf fandom.)

There will be posting of completed bingos when a submission is made. The Mod will get those up as soon as possible but mostly it will probably be in the afternoons/weekends.

For bingo submissions, we are only accepting completed bingos for showcase on the blog.

If you are aiming for a blackout, you can still call out each line down or line across as you complete it. Just fill out the form for each line and then complete the form one last time for blackout and in the listing for fics just put blackout. The mod will look at submissions and update your bingo post.

There will be a single post for each participant but if more than one bingo is completed, the updated post will be reblogged with the new accomplishments.

There is a Discord for chatting with other participants and other writing things. It's shared with Full Moon Ficlet and a challenge I run for another fandom to make things easier on me but come and chat with people. Talk about writing, how your day is going, and even what you are reading, from fanfic to traditional books. We have a little bit of area for everything and are willing to add in more things as well!

Everything will still be posted here, and this will be the main area. There is no need or pressure to join Discord. The only thing the Discord will get is the list of prompts and a look at the bingo cards early.
