Newfound Friendship (Stray Kids Han)
Prompt: (y/n) is a kid who doesn’t usually care about things that doesn’t affect themself, but when a foreign exchange student, Han Jisung, was struggling to fit in, they can’t help but step in. Even going out of their way to make sure no one messed with the fluffy cheeked boy. (gender neutral reader, highschool au)
Warnings: bullying, racism, a small school fight, strong language
Word count: 1,551
Tumblr media
“Everybody, I want you to welcome our new exchange student, Han Jisung.” Your homeroom teacher walked in, a blond boy tailing behind her. “Go on, introduce yourself,”
“Hi, uh- my name is Jisung, from Korea.” The new kid awkwardly waved, his bottom lip unintentionally sticking between his teeth by the end of the sentence.
Your teacher patted his back gently before smiling at Jisung, “Go on have a seat,”
He nodded before walking nervously down the rows of desks searching for an open spot. Just to your luck, the first one he noticed was the seat next to yours. You didn’t have anything against the new kid in particular, you’re just not very good at making friends. Your slightly individualistic demeanor and resting bitch face (along with your dark aesthetic and your undying love for leather jackets) have always been successful in sending people away and earning you the title of “the bad kid not to messed with” -and you never bothered to deny it.
When Jisung wordlessly pointed at the empty chair beside you, your brain didn’t even have enough time to come up with a proper response before he grinned, putting his bag on the desk. You internally sighed, saying goodbye to the peaceful semester you had imagined.
“Hi,” Jisung whispered, leaning slightly to you while keeping his eyes on the board. “I’m Han Jisung.”
“(y/n),” you answered shortly as you continued to make no effort to actually pay attention to your teacher.
“My English name is Peter,” he casually said with a smile.
You finally turned your head to the boy, eyeing him up and down. Once again, your resting bitch face must’ve sent the wrong signal as Jisung’s smile faltered to a somewhat scared look that reminded you of a squirrel due to his chubby cheeks.
Not wanting to give off a bad impression to the already nervous boy, you mustered up a small smile. “You look more of a Jisung to me,”
After your lighthearted reply, he seemed to regain his positivity and lowly chuckled making sure you weren’t getting any unwanted attention from the teacher. He then became quiet for a while before saying “Will you help me?”
You raised your eyebrow slightly at the sudden proposal, “help you with what?”
You noticed him fidgeting with the pen in his hand before looking up to you. “Uh- my English is not very good? Will you help me?”
You once again smiled softly, “I think you’re doing just fine, but sure I’ll help you.”
Jisung couldn’t help but grin at the confident boost from you and he sighed in relief as he already gained his first friend within a few minutes.
Turns out, Jisung ended up being in most of your classes trough out the day, this led to Jisung always sitting next to you. You thought the stares people were giving the two of you was because the notorious (y/n) who had always sat alone and don’t give a damn about it finally has a chair mate slash friend. However, when you find a sad Jisung on the other side of the door as you exited your chemistry class –the only class you didn’t have with him- you were unfortunately proven wrong.
"Jisung?” you touched his shoulder in worry. “Are you okay?”
He raised his head at your presence, the usual cheerful glint in his eyes was nowhere to be seen. Instead, his eyes were tinted red and slightly puffed as if he had been crying.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong?” You questioned your friend further, ignoring the stares of your pupils passing by on their way to the cafetaria.
“They’re mean,” Jisung pouted, his eyes getting slightly teary.
“Who is?”
“Kids in biology class.” Jisung sighed, blinking faster to stop his tears from falling. “They teased my English.”
You felt your heart drop to your stomach at Jisung’s confession but managed to keep your composure. “Look at me,” you grabbed Jisung’s hand gently before smiling at him. “I’m here now, let’s go grab some lunch, yeah?”
Jisung only nodded as he let you guide him through the hallways, your hand still securely wrapped around his.
You sat on your usual table as the both of you ate your food. Jisung’s mood was getting better thanks to the distraction the horrible food provided.
“Do you eat this everyday?” Jisung cringed as he continuously poked on the undercooked green beans on his plate.
“Well, not exactly this menu everyday,” you smiled in amusement, “but the other menus are not any better, honestly.”
“Ew, gross.” You heard Jisung murmur under his breath, causing you to laugh.
“Well, you gotta deal with it now that you’re here, Jiji,” you teased.
“Jiji?” Jisung pointed out your nickname for him.
“Yeah, why not,” you shrugged. “Can it be your nickname? Do you like it?”
Jisung contemplated for a bit before responding. “But jiji in Korean means gross,”
“Great, just like this food and just like you.” You joked.
“Hey, not true!” Jisung retorted playfully.
“I’m gonna start calling you Jiji from now on.” You stated and when he didn’t argue, you accepted it as a permission.
It was quiet between the both of you for a bit before a boy passed by your table, throwing some rude remarks and a degrading laugh, you recognized the kid as Ashton from your PE class. You were taken aback and couldn’t help but feel offended and stared at the brown haired kid as he left the cafetaria. When you turned back to your original position, Jisung was slightly hunched as if trying to make himself smaller, keeping his eyes to the untouched food in front of him.
“Jisung,” you called to gain his attention. “Was that the kid that’s been bothering you?”
His silence was more than enough to clarify your theories. You eventually got up from your seat with Jisung staring at you questioningly.
“I’m going to the bathroom, you stay here, okay?” You told him.
Ashton fell back with hands on his cheek, obviously not expecting you to actually throw a punch. "What the fuck?!”
You obviously were not going to the bathroom. You were going to find Ashton and have a little word with him. You were really not planning on picking up a fight. Ashton was a well-known dick with nothing but a big mouth, he was not a fighter and you knew it from that one time last semester when you kicked his ass during a Taekwondo lesson. But when Ashton exaggeratedly mocked Jisung’s accent in front of you after you brought up the problem, you just couldn’t hold yourself back. Before you knew it, your knuckle had made contact with his cheek in full force.
By then, people were starting to crowd around the two of you, it was only a matter of time until a teacher will come and break you two up.
“Next time you even try to look at Jisung the wrong way, I’ll be giving you much more than a bruised up cheek.” You pointed your finger at him threateningly to make sure you got your point across.
“Okay! Fuck, I’m sorry!” He finally responded.
Ashton, still taken aback by your outburst only stared at you in disbelief, knowing better not to fight back. To this, you reached out to apply more pressure on his hand that was still on his cheek, making him groan in pain as he flinched away from your touch.
Just then, one of your teachers finally got to the scene, breaking through the crowd of student surrounding you.
“(y/n) (y/l/n)! Ashton Carter! Principal’s office, now!” He shouted sternly.
You obeyed his words and wordlessly left as the teacher shoo off the crowd. In the corner of your eyes you see Jisung’s worried face, you spared a glance at him as you smile reassuringly, silently telling him not to worry.
The hour you spent in the principal’s office was not too bad. Considering Ashton's reputation, the principal didn’t need to be told twice to believe your words. Still, he didn’t agree with your way of dealing with the issue so he sent you to detention while Ashton was suspended for three days.
You were mindlessly doodling on a page in your notebook when the door of the detention room opened. The teacher on duty really couldn’t care less as he continued to scroll on his phone without acknowledging the new presence. You tilted your head in confusion as Jisung made his way towards you after spotting you in the back of the room.
“What are you doing here?” You asked as he took a seat beside you.
He rummaged through his backpack before pulling out a chocolate bar and a boxed milk. “I’m lonely,” he shrugged.
“What’s this?” you eyed the treats he offered to you.
“I bought them at the store.” He smiled. “You didn’t eat because you were fighting,”
“Right.” You chuckled at his words before accepting the food. “Thanks, Jiji.”
“No, thank you.” He replied. “But you don’t have to punch people for me next time.”
Once again you laughed quietly. “Okay, I’ll keep that in mind.”
A few minutes ago you kind of hated the fact that you got detention, but with Jisung by your side, the one hour actually was unfairly short for your liking.

Amiable Valentine (Stray Kids Felix)
Prompt: Felix went on a blind date on Valentines day only to be stood up, (y/n) was not going to just let their best friend spend Valentines day alone. (gender neutral reader, friends-to-lovers au)
Warnings: Cursing but not really
Word count: 1,561
Tumblr media
Star Lix: I dont think shes coming
(y/n): r u for real rn?
Star Lix: unfortunately
(y/n): sigh
(y/n): I will beat her ass
Star Lix: (y/n)..
(y/n): k, sorry (((im not)))
(y/n): im omw don’t go anywhere
Star Lix: you really don’t have to
(y/n): I know, but I want to
It was Valentine’s day today and you being a happy single, planned to spend the day in your pajamas watching Netflix for the whole day. You originally invited your best friend, Felix, along but when he informed that he had land himself a blind date for the day, you were left to your own accords. Not for long apparently, as Felix had just gotten stood up and being the good best friend you are, without any second thought you turned off your TV before wrapping yourself up in the first coat you grabbed from the hanger and hurriedly walked to the coffee shop a few blocks away.
You were greeted by the familiar smell of coffee beans and a comforting warmth opposed to the cold end of winter breeze outside. You stretched your neck slightly, spotting the back of your brown haired friend. You spared some time to order your favorite drink before making your way to Felix’s table.
Upon your arrival, Felix's head perked up in excitement, obviously expecting his date to show up, albeit being an hour late. When he realized it was you, he let out a sigh.
You chuckled, “are you really that disappointed to see me?”
“Sorry,” the boy across you smiled sadly.  “I don’t know why I'm still hoping either.”
You reached out to take a hold of one of his hand on the table. “Hey, she’s not worth your time anyways, Lix.”
“Well if I had known she wasn’t gonna show up, I wouldn’t have bothered to buy these,” he retorted, pulling a bouquet of flowers from the seat beside him. “It costed a fortune!”
“And how much is that fortune?” you asked teasingly.
“Seven dollars and fifty cents,” he muttered under his breath.
You chuckled. “Wow what a generous gentleman you are, Mister Lee Felix.”
“Still, I could get at least one cup of a fancy coffee with that money,” he argued.
“Well, it is pretty,” you commented, taking a closer look of the bouquet.
Felix glanced at you quietly. “Do you want it?”
“Huh?” Your eyes went back to make eye contact with Felix’s. “Are you for real?”
“Yeah,” he nonchalantly pushed it to your side of the table.
“Thanks,” you smiled. “I’ll make sure to buy you a fancy cup of coffee next time in exchange,”
“Nah,” Felix shook his head. “Just take it, I’m feeling generous today.”
You only scoffed in response before being cut off by a waiter delivering your drink.
“I’m sorry I cut your date short,” Felix suddenly said after the waiter left.
You lifted an eyebrow, “I told you I didn’t have a date though?”
“Yes, you did,” he replied before adding “with Netflix.”
“You little-” You crumpled up a napkin nearby before throwing it to your friend’s face who was now laughing way too loud at his own poor attempt of a joke.
“But really, sorry I pulled you out of the comfort of your own home,” he said after recollecting himself. “It is pretty cold outside, you know,”
“Dude, don’t mention it,” you waved him off. “I wasn’t going to let my best friend mope around alone on Valentine’s day. I was running out of shows to watch anyways.”
“Thanks,” Felix replied genuinely.
“How ‘bout a walk in the park? How does that sound?” You proposed.
Felix tilted his head slightly to the side. “In this weather?”
“Just means there are going to be less people outside, right?” You were already standing up, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a cup of your warm drink in the other.
Felix had no other choice but to agree. He followed you out of the café with the remaining of his own drink in his grip.
“Are you still in your pajamas?” He commented, amused.
“You are in no position to comment on my attire today, sir.” You bit back.
Your companion only laughed.
You walked to the park while keeping a conversation flowing about everything but nothing in particular, several friendly teasing thrown here and there. Somewhere along the way Felix turned to carry the flowers for you when he saw you struggling to fish your phone out of your pocket.
As soon as you arrived at the park, you immediately made your way to the swing set –a habit that has formed over the past ten years you have lived in the neighborhood. Felix chuckled at your antics, following you by taking a seat on the unoccupied swing.
“Remember when we first met?” Felix suddenly recalled nostalgically. “You had a fight with your friend and you were just bawling your eyes out on this swing,”
You laughed at the embarrassing memory. “Well, I apologize for being a moody teenager, Felix. But at least you gained a friend that day.”
“That’s true,” he nodded. “I had just moved in and was taking a walk through the neighborhood, didn’t expect to see someone crying in the park, honestly,”
You smiled softly, recalling the historical day that would eventually lead to you having the fattest crush on the new kid on the block although knowing for sure that he only saw you as nothing more than a friend.
“I was lucky it was you though,” Felix confessed.
This perked your interest and you finally turned your head to him. “How so?”
He shrugged, a faint smile playing on his lips as his feet lightly kicked the ground making the swing go back and forth. “I just really like being your friend,”
You turned your attention back to the patch of grass below you. ‘Friend’, the word itself holds no detrimental meaning to it but why do you resent it so much?
“I’m getting cold,” Felix finally broke the silence. “Should we head back?”
You agreed shortly and started walking alongside him, taking back your flower bouquet from Felix’s hands after throwing both yours and his empty cups in to a trash can you passed by. The two of you eventually ended up at your house, Felix not wanting to say goodbye just yet. Considering it was not yet that late in to the evening, you didn’t argue.
As you arrived in your room you turned your TV back on, the screen showing the last episode you’ve watched of a new show you just started watching.
“I thought you said you didn’t have anything to watch?” Felix remarked.
You smiled. “Well, I guess I lied,”
You missed the blush adorning Felix’s cheeks as you turned your attention back to the TV.
“Do you want to watch it from the first episode?” You asked, making yourself comfortable on your bed with the remote in your hand.
“Uh- no- it's okay,” he politely declined before joining you.
You thought for a second. “Nah, lets watch it from the first episode, I want to.”
Felix knew you didn’t actually want to, but you just made it a habit to do these little things for him every time you get a chance to and that made his heart flatter.
Although you replayed the first episode for him, Felix wasn’t even paying attention to the TV. His eyes just couldn’t seem to move away from the sight of you. At first you weren’t aware of the pair of eyes observing you, but as time passed by you finally turned your head towards the boy beside you, finding his face mere centimeters from yours. The close proximity causing blood to rush to your cheeks, but you couldn’t find the will to move away. The much more visible blush on Felix’s face complemented his freckles and you feel like you can just stare at them all day.
“Can I kiss you?” Felix asked softly.
You nodded your head without missing a beat and Felix finally closed the distance between the two of you. The kiss was short but soft, his lips just fitting in perfectly in yours. He pulled away slowly, not wanting for the moment to end so soon.
“I can’t believe I waited four whole years to do that,” he whispered just loud enough for you to hear.
“But we just met four years ago?” you pointed out.
Felix smiled. “I know.”
You were sure your cheeks were as red as tomatoes now and your thoughts was proven true when Felix chuckled at your flustered state.
“Why did you go on that blind date today then?” You finally asked.
Felix sighed, resting his forehead on yours. “I didn’t think you like me back, (y/n). And I thought if I open myself up to other people maybe I’ll get over my stupid crush on you,”
“It’s not a stupid crush,” you reassured. “I like you too.”
He grinned with that charming eye-smile of his. One of Felix’s hand reached to the back of your neck as the other one took hold of your hand. “I’m glad I got to spend this Valentine’s day with you.”
“Me too, Lixie.”
Felix then kissed you again, this time it was deeper and more passionate, the show playing in the background long forgotten.

Levanter (Stray Kids Bang Chan)
Prompt: Reader has been Bang Chan's friend since they started training together, but its time for them to part ways as they both chase their dreams in different paths. (fem reader, idol-trainee au)
Warnings: A teeny bit of angst
Word count: 1,662
Tumblr media
You and Bang Chan have known each other since you were both in your early teens. You both along with BamBam started training at JYP Entertainment around the same time, leaving your previous life behind in your home countries to pursue your childhood dreams. The first time you met Bang Chan and BamBam, the three of you hit it off straight away. Not many trainees started as young as you three did, so you both stuck to each others' sides because no one understood you as much as each other.
Time rolled by, BamBam became the first one out of you to debut with GOT7, at only 16. You and Bang Chan were one of the first people to congratulate him, despite of the somber mood that came from knowing that from that point on he will be too busy to hang out with you as much as he used to. After BamBam's debut, you and Bang Chan became even closer. You both protected each other like guard dogs in fear of the inevitable.
2016, four years after you started training, JYP put you in a trainee line up preparing for a debut survival show called Sixteen. To say you were excited was an understatement, you practiced harder, stayed in the studio for longer, even sometimes forgetting to eat and rest. And when you expectedly broke down, Bang Chan was ready by your side, picking up your pieces with sweet hugs and motivational words until you were ready to stand back up again.
However, only a week before the show started shooting, you accidentally broke your ankle in the middle of a dance practice. This unfortunately led to you being cut off from the trainee line up and was replaced by the youngest trainee, Natty.
Understandably, you were way more than upset. And again, Bang Chan was beside you like always. The moment he heard of what happened, he dropped all things and was ready to console and take care of his best friend.
Debut opportunities came and went for you, you auditioned for Produce101 with Somi but you didn't even make it to the 101 trainees line up while your younger friend ended up as the center of the debuted group. You wanted to join Produce48 but your agency was against it so there was not much you can do.
And then one day, JYP announced a new untitled survival show you were chosen to participate in along with the other trainees. The end goal was to decide which group will debut between the male trainees and the female trainees. The night after the survival proposal announcement, you and Bang Chan went to get dinner together. A sentence he said stuck to you to this day, "friendships are friendships and work is work, right? Lets do our best, (y/n). And I hope luck is with the both of us."
Luck decided to only be on one of your side. And that's Chan's. As all of the trainees stepped down the showcase's stage, Bang Chan caught up to you in silence.
You smiled at your friend. "Congratulations, Chan, I mean it."
"Thank you." He returned the smile with a slight sigh, "(y/n), I-"
"Friendships are friendships and work is work, remember? I'll see you on the other side, the debuted idols' side." You patted his back with a light chuckle before catching up to your the other female trainees.
You missed Bang Chan's teary gaze as his eyes followed your figure until you disappeared from his sight.
Never wanted anything as much as you.
Never crossed my mind that I could ever lose.
---------------
You watched as the screen of your phone turned black for a split second before Stray Kids' logo appeared on it along with the writing "This stream has ended, waiting for replay."
You pressed your home button and opened KakaoTalk before choosing Bang Chan's contact name.
y/n: are u busy?
🍞chris: nope, about to head back to the dorm
🍞chris: whats up?
y/n: wait up
y/n: im coming to your studio
y/n: i need to talk to you about something
🍞 chris: uh,, okay?
🍞 chris: should i be scared?
[✓Read]
You timidly knocked on the door on Chan's studio before letting yourself in, closing the door behind you. Chan smiled at your arrival, putting down his phone.
"Hey, (y/n)!" He greeted cheerfully as he put his ukulele back in to it's case.
"Hi, Chan." You smiled. "I watched your VLive, might wanna work on your ukulele a bit more," you joked.
His laugh boomed across the small studio. "I know, I know. My little brother would be ashamed if he saw that."
"Oh yeah, definitely," you smiled teasingly, "he texted me, said he's about to disown you from the family."
"Hey!" He mocked offence. "Excuse you, I'm the one who brings food to Berry's table."
You chuckled. "Yea, yea, suit yourself Mr. Best-Leader,"
Bang Chan put down his ukulele as he finally gave you his full attention. "So, did you come here only to mock my ukulele playing skills or is there something else you wanna talk about?"
You sighed as your smile flattered in to a sad one. "Yeah, about that,"
"Is everything okay, (y/n)?" Chan tilted his head slightly in concern to your sudden change of mood.
"Sort of, but not really." You said truthfully.
"What is it?"
There was a few seconds of silence before you responded. "I'm leaving, Chan."
Surprise and disbelief was written all over his face when he let out a whisper, "wh- what?"
You nervously ran a hand through your hair. "I- I'm leaving JYP-"
"But why?" Chan cut you off.
"It's been almost 10 years, Chan. I have been a trainee for almost ten years and theres still no signs of me debuting soon," you made eye contact with the shocked boy in front of you.
"That's not true!" He argued.
"Yeah?" You chuckled bitterly. "I stayed because I thought at least they would consider debuting me with ITZY, but they didn't even bat an eye because apparently I 'don't fit the concept'. The younger kids are already debuting, the future groups are just gonna be younger and younger-"
"You can debut as a solo artist?" He cut you off once again.
"And how big is the chance for me to be a solo artist, huh?" You bit back. "Chan, I got an offer in another agency, a really promising one at that. It might not be as big as JYPE but it'll do."
Bang Chan could do nothing other than stare at you, drowning in his own thoughts.
"I'm tired of being hung by a thread like this, Chan. It was not an easy decision for me either but I've made up my mind." You softly said, letting your head down as you switched your focus to the carpeted floor.
Bang Chan finally snapped out of his train of thoughts as he raised from his seat before quickly hugging you tighter than he ever had.
"Okay," he sighed. "I understand where you're coming from. I guess- I don't know, it's just so sudden,"
"I'm sorry," you returned the hug. "I just wanted to tell you personally before you leave for your world tour,"
Chan pulled away from the hug and brought one of his hand to your face, making you look at him. "I'll see you on the other side, yeah?" He smiled softly.
You nodded. "The debuted idols' side."
Oh, this is the end of the road
Oh, I'm holding out for a new hope
'Cause it's the darkest of all before the dawn
--------------
"And the award for Rookie of The Year goes to-"
The seconds ticked slowly as the MC opened the envelope. You and your members' clammy hands taut together tightly as you silently prayed for the best outcome.
"EXACT! Congratulations!!"
Your mouth fell agape, in the corner of your eyes you saw some of your members sprung up from their chairs in joy. The loud screams of your fans filled the stadium when the member beside you tugged on your hand slightly.
"(y/n), let's go," she beamed at you, gesturing to the stage with a nod of her head.
You recollected yourself before fixing your skirt as you walked towards the stage, thunderous claps and cheers ringing in your ears.
The MC passed the golden trophy on to your teammates and you stepped up to the mic. You began your thank you speech on the behalf of your group as the leader. You thanked your members, family and friends, the agency, and also your fans. However, you couldn't help but choke up in the middle of your speech, wrapping it up with a final group greeting with a couple of tears slipping past your eyelashes.
You let a few more tears fall when you slipped off backstage. You and your members were taking pictures with the trophy when a bunch of familiar faces turned the corner in to the hallway you were in.
"(y/n) noona!" Jisung let out a happy shrill when his eyes found yours.
"Hi, Jisung," you chuckled at your old friend's antics as the rest of Stray Kids stepped in to sight, preparing for their upcoming performance.
After both your group and Stray Kids formally greeted each other, you slipped past the other's attention as Bang Chan pulled you aside.
"I haven't gotten the chance of saying this to you personally so, congratulations on your debut, (y/n)." Bang Chan smiled at you. "And the award too, of course."
"Thank you, Chan." You replied. "Thank you for always sticking by my side, couldn't have done it without you,"
"No, no, no." He shook his head cutely. "This was all you, take some credit,"
You giggled. "Right,"
"I'm proud of you." Bang Chan hugged you as he whispered softly, "we finally meet on the other side after all, huh?"
And now that I left it all behind me
I'm flying high, I'm flying high

Timing (Stray Kids Felix)
Prompt: All you need in life is just the right timing, but sometimes life just doesn’t go your way. (gender neutral reader)
Warnings: mentions of blood, death, I mean its angst so -oh and it also contains bad writing, im still not very used to writing angst tbh
Word count: 348 (its short, like felix’s cute lil fingers uwu)

“I just wish you were here with me, Lix.” You sighed, curling in to the covers of your bed.
“I know, baby.” He said. “But listen, we’ve went through a whole year, what’s another two weeks, right?”
“But it’s winter and it’s cold without you here,”
Felix could hear the pout in your voice and he smiled imagining your bottom lip just barely poking out as you adorably sulked. “I’ll be home before Christmas, (y/n). And then you know what’s gonna come...” He trailed off in a sing song voice.
You couldn’t help but grin. “The wedding,”
“Exactly.” He chuckled. “We just gotta wait another couple of weeks, and then you will be stuck with me forever.”
“Wouldn’t have it any other way,” you responded dreamily.
--------------------------
You should have waited inside instead of greeting him outside of your apartment building. But no, you were too eager, too impatient, to see him. Sure, you missed him, but so did his family. And now thanks to you they will never be able to see him again.
He stood only across the road from you, so close yet so far. You wave frantically at him and he caught your eye without missing a beat.
He grinned his signature grin. His eyes crinkled forming the shape of a beautiful crescent moon, his nose scrunching up like an adorable fluffy bunny.
Upon seeing his fiancée he became unaware of his surroundings, even leaving his luggage on the side of the road so it wouldn’t slow him down on his way to you.
But you wished it had.
The only thing you remembered was the sound of wheels screeching, slipping on the slippery icy road. Then there was blood. A whole lot of blood. The pure white snow became the witness of the horrifying scene as the crimson liquid seeps in to it’s layers.
Then there was a rush, a commotion. Sirens blaring, people talking –pointing at Felix.
Your Felix.

“You promised me I would only have to wait two more weeks. But now why do I have to wait a lifetime?”

Ghosted (X1/Victon Han Seungwoo)
Prompt: When the new tenant, Han Seungwoo, was in dire need of help, Ghost!Reader came in to the rescue. (gender neutral reader, ghost au)
Warnings: a teeny bit of violence, mentions of death and being a ghost, nothing too graphic
Word count: 1.316
Tumblr media
How you died, you had no memories of. You just woke up one day in your bed, and everything was just.... silent. You called out to your mom and dad, to your brother, no one responded. The house was empty, ridden of any sign of living.
You noticed you weren’t breathing, your heart wasn’t beating, and I guess the coolest part was you can go through walls. You freaked out, obviously, but after a long while -a really, really, long while- you came in peace with the fact that you were dead.
You stayed at your apartment, physically -spiritually?- not able to get out. Years and years rolled by with no one in the house, you found peace within the loneliness.
So anytime someone even try to look around, you would scare the crap out of them. Traumatizing them and their kids to the point of never looking back to your place.
One day you heard yet another ruckus from the front door. Here comes another one, you thought. Frankly, you enjoyed scaring people. Maybe you've even grew to hate living human beings -maybe.
But that wasn't the case when you saw the young man hustling up a bunch of boxes through the front door. His hair went limp from the sweat dripping down his forehead, a small section of crinkles formed atop his eyebrows in frustration as his plump lips stayed ajar, groaning in struggle.
You couldn't help but stare as he barely managed to heave in the last box. He sighed in relief before removing the piece of white sheet covering the couch in the living room, careful not to cause any more dust to fly around the room. He then flopped down on the old dark blue furniture.
He fished his phone out of his pocket as you continued staring. He scrolled through the device for a while before stopping. He reached one of his hands to the back of his neck, that should’ve been your cue to leave, but you didn't -you couldn't.
He looked up, straight towards you -or should I say through you. You knew he knew something was off, but he couldn’t see you and so he shrugged the feeling away and continued with his scrolling.
The knock on the door startled both you and him. He hurriedly headed towards the sound, knocking in to a box on the way. He opened it to see an old man that you recognized to be Mr. Park, one of your neighbors even before you turned to a ghost.
"Hello," he croaked out, smiling kindly. "You must be the new neighbor."
"Ah, yes. Its nice to meet you." The young man bowed politely. "My name is Seungwoo, Sir. Han Seungwoo."
Han Seungwoo. A pretty name for a pretty boy. -----------
And before you know it, he settled in and you found yourself with a housemate -kind of. He would notice your presence every now and then but always shrugged it off as him being paranoid. You would watch him go about his day, not having the heart to scare him away. It goes on and on like that for months.
It was around 2 AM and you were bored out of your mind. Seungwoo was sleeping soundly, and since he moved in you have restrained yourself from playing with any objects around, afraid that he will see and run. So you opted to just float around the living room.
That is until you heard noises from the front door. You peeked your head towards the sound in curiosity. Not long after, the door opened and three men walked in all with caps over their head and black clothing.
If you had a beating heart, it would be beating incredibly fast by now -but you don’t. You panicked. As you watched them, frozen, they ever so quietly rummage Seungwoo's belongings, looking for valuables.
Upon hearing the noises, Seungwoo awoken from his bed, not thinking much of it, he headed out of his room. He opened the door and was faced with the gang of armed burglars, suddenly feeling small.
"Get him." One of them said.
And you snapped out of your frozen trance. You used your energy to flung a nearby lamp on to the man charging to Seungwoo.
"What the hell?!" He shouted in to thin air.
You pushed Seungwoo back to his room and locked the door, putting him out of harms way as you attacked the three culprits.
Seungwoo couldn’t do anything but stand in his room, staring at the locked door in front of him as loud crashes and bangs was heard from the other side of the door. Then suddenly it all ceased.
For a few seconds it was just eerie silence until you managed to muster up your courage and face the man you just protected. You unlocked his door and opened it slightly.
Seungwoo gulped but took it as a signal to head out. He opened the door slowly. The three burglars were now unconcious on the floor, their guns and knives piled in to a stack on the kitchen counter, a few of his fragile furnitures were shattered to pieces.
Then a voice was heard from the coffee table, "911, whats your emergency?"
Seungwoo was flabbergasted, he didn’t remember putting his phone there, and he most definitely hadn’t called the police.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" That pulled Seungwoo out of his trance and hurriedly grabbed his phone.
"Uh there has been an attempted burglary in my house, they're unconscious now but I don't know when they're gonna wake up." He explained shakily in to the phone.
"Okay, Sir. Please state your name and address and we will send someone as soon as possible."
He did as told and then hung up on the operator. He looked down and sighed. "I- I know you’re in here." He called.
Nothing.
"Just come out. Please." He whispered the last part brokenly, almost begging.
You decided it was now or never. You braced yourself before appearing across the room, hoping he wouldn't notice you, but he did.
He looked at you, mouth agape but silent.
You frowned. "Are you scared of me?" Your voice was dry, harsh, as a result of never talking for a good few years.
"What?" Seungwoo inquired, not quite getting what you meant.
"I'm dead. I'm a ghost, Seungwoo. Aren't you scared of me?" You repeated clearly this time.
"What's your name?" He asked instead.
You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion but answered nevertheless, "Its (Y/n)."
He approached you slowly, step by step. "Well, (y/n), seeing as you practically saved my life, I don’t see why I should be afraid of you."
You couldn’t help but smile. Seeing this, Seungwoo smiled back at you. You always thought he had an attractive smile, but seeing him actually smile at you? You could've died right then and there (if you hadn’t already died).
"I guess I should thank you," he said, now right in front of you.
"Don't mention it-"
He cut you off. "Not just for that, you kinda are the reason I can live here in the first place."
Your head tilted slightly, "huh?"
"Well, apparently the landlord said this apartment was cursed, haunted, or whatever, that no one ever lived here for more than two weeks. I assume that was you." Seungwoo joked.
You lowered your head in embarrassment, and to this Seungwoo chuckled.
"Thanks by the way, because of that I got this apartment half the price it originally was."
You laughed along with him.
"I did wonder tho, why didn’t I experience anything?" He paused. "Why didn't you try to scare me away?" He looked directly in to your eyes.
You could do nothing but shrug and avoid eye contact. Because you're too cute, you thought to yourself.
Seungwoo smiled kindly as if he could read your mind. "I think you're pretty."
