🌹What we need to learn is the fact that we shouldn't judge a book completely by the cover, but also accept that the cover is a part of the book. 🩵
"Btw, this is not about a book." 🫶

The New Student. Part 4
Portgas D. Ace x female reader
This is a modern au.
If you're a very sensitive person, don't read this.
Warnings: Fight, hurtful words, blood, yeah.
Masterlist + other parts of The New Student
-----------------------------------------------
"Hi~, Ace." Nondindwa says walking up to him when he's looking around the corridors for Y/n. "Oh, hi..." Ace says, pretending like he doesn't know what she wants. Ast is nearby, leaning to the wall and glaring at him expectantly. "I heard your single." Nondindwa murmurs, dragging a hand through her beautiful hair and straightening her body a little to make it easier to see down her shirt for him.
You walked around the corner and suddenly spotted him and Nondindwa, not wanting to deal with them you quickly stay on the other side of the corner, glancing at the interaction. Ace lips were pressed together as he averted his eyes awkwardly from her, though not in you're direction, luckily. This was not what you had planned to run into after Doflamingo.
"I uh, sorry, but I am not interested in you." Ace said in a rather polite way. "Liar! You must be interested in me. Let me guess, this is because of Y/n." Nondindwa growls pissed in her ugly pitched voice. Ast stomps up an fold her arms. "What do you even see in her?" She snorts. "Uhh, a lot." Ace mumbles.
You're jaw fall sown as he says that, he's supposed to deny it, not confirm it!
"What! But she's a total loser." Ast yells. "A rather cute and kind loser." Ace says in a matter of fact way.
You can't help but pout at him agreeing with them about you being a loser. But you're pout disappears as Sabo places himself next to you and peek at them as well. "Dude, wtf?" You hiss quietly. "What, I also wanna see this." He whispers, with a grin. This was hilarious for him as he got to spy like this with both you and Ace.
"So you two are dating?" Nondindwa growls. "Nnnnnmmm maybe." Ace says, a blush painting over his cheeks. Both Ast and Nondindwa clench their fists.
"Wait, you two are dating?" Sabo whispers. "No! We're not. I have not fluffing idea why he said maybe." You hiss to Sabo in a hushed way. "Fluffing, really?" Sabo chuckles. "I would never date Ace." You grunt, folding your arms. "Wait what? Don't play hard to get." He whispers, not believing it. "I'm serious, Ace is a damn... he's just not my type." You murmur almost blurting out to Sabo that you know Ace is an arsonist, if you had would Sabo had killed you right there and then? "Then what is you're type?" Sabo mumbles, wanting you to lie, as he knew Ace liked you a lot.
"I like chubby guys with, uh, with hair down to the waist, and green eyes, and the hair must be blonde, and I find freckles disgusting, Ace has freckles all over his body, and I... uh I want a very, very lazy and chill guy." You ramble out whatever comes first to your mind that would explain that you do not like Ace. But you're not whispering, and Sabo stands there covering his mouth as he looks at Nondindwa, Ast, and worst of all Ace stand behind you hearing everything.
"You... you find my body... disgusting?" Ace press out, bringing his thumb up and biting on his nail, he can't help it, it's just his whole world got smashed in a mortar, one of those traditional granite ones, those words you've just said hurt... a lot.
You slowly turn around and look at him. Did you find freckles disgusting? No, their adorable, you just had blurted out what could have been seen as a flaw with him. Should you say you lied? No, you're not a naive girl, you need him away from you. With a sigh you decide to lie and nod. "Yeah, I find you're body disgusting."
Ace stomach churns and even Nondindwa and Ast looks disgusted, cause damn saying that to somebody's face is cruel. Ace backs away and then walks away. He doesn't want to cry, he doesn't want to believe it, he badly wants to be alone. "Ace..." Sabo hurries after and then walks next to him as they make their way away.
"What was that for!" Ast yells in your ears. "An honest opinion." You lie, through clenched teeth as you gave them a smile. Nondindwa then kicks you in the stomach. She was mad, she was enraged, and you would pay. Ast eyes widen as she sees Nondindwa attack you. She was aware that Nondindwa had a temper, but this... this was ugly.
The lessons had started so no one is nearby. No one can see when Nondindwa takes out a scissor and both stab you and and then drag your hair. The biggest crime you can do in the book towards a girl. Ast has to puke, she doesn't now what to do, this is not something she wants to be a part of.
Everything for you becomes fuzzy, except for the pain, but when Nondindwa brings the blades of the scissor to your hair you grab her neck. The gasp she let's out as she suddenly lose the air in her throat was terrifying. You push her off yourself and get up, pressing you're hand to your chest where she had stabbed you with the scissor. Nondindwa is breathing heavily, on the floor catching her breath.
Turning on you're heel you plan to run. Ast, holds out her scarf and whisper, "Use it as bandage." With an already clouded mind you take the blue scarf and continue and run down the hall and out of school. It didn't take long for you to collapse down on your knees in an alleyway by the dumpster. With shaking hands you slowly started to wrap the scarf around you're bleeding scar. It was a nice one, probably very expensive... You slowly drag yourself up to the wall and then open your satchel, there the folder with you're grades is. Sure it's not ones you got from this school, being new and all...
Slowly you placed you're phone on you're knee calling Toxin, but it ends up on voicemail. "Please answer." You plea, whipping the new tears that threaten to spill as you felt alone. Virus isn't in New Line so she can't help, and Toxin is probably working. With a deep breathe you get up on you're feet. The wound wasn't to deep, and although it hurt and seemed like a lot of blood, you could still get home. Although it's pretty far, you'd get through.
After sending a text to Toxin about the incident you, carefully put your satchel around you, then grab your ear pods, music was definitely a necessity in this situation.
Unstoppable - the Score.
Unstoppable - Sia
Back from the Dead - Skillet
Immortals - Fall Out Boy
Roar - Katy Perry
It went well to walk home, since the uplifting songs made your mind drift from reality. Ast's scarf hadn't bleed through, so you just looked like someone with a weird style. "You held me down but I got up." You hum quietly to the music, a small smile making it's way across your features, despite the pain.
A while later the music stops, it's Toxin calling since she's gonna pick you up. "Hi-"
"OMG, Y/N! Are you okay, why aren't you walking towards the hospital instead. AND, where are you now!" Toxin says the sound of the engine going in the background. "I'm not completely okay, but it could have been worse. I'm two streets away from our apartment, and hospitals are way to expensive." You answer settling down on a bench.
Three minutes later Toxin drives up and you get in. "How bad is it?" She asks immediately. "I don't know for sure, how bad it is. I'm too afraid to remove the scarf." You answer with a sigh. "I understand." Toxin nods speeding over to our place.
It took time but we cleaned up the wound and bandaged it up.
"I have my grades, I won't return to school. Worst thing that will happen is Ace burn me alive because I said his freckles are disgusting." You frown leaning on your palm at the kitchen table. "Wait... aren't you a simp for freckles?" Toxin asks dumbfounded. With a click of your tongue you nod. "Yeah, yeah, I am." Toxin sighs. "I wonder if you made him insecure." Toxin smirks, settling down on a chair drinking juice from a fancy glass.
"Won't know, cause we're leaving to North state Blue." You say as you both do a little cheer, though on the inside you felt bad for him, but only a little, criminals don't deserve empathy, right?
--------
Ace sat on his bed, he and Sabo had gone home early, because of the incident. He was unsure of what to feel. But one thing was sure, this was not pleasant. He had grown used to being able to get whatever he wants, either through stealing or charming. Cause the girls fell right at his feet, they always did. . . Except Y/n, she always had a disdain for him. That's why he just kinda assumed she knew about him being Gold Roger's son. The man himself, The king of crime, the so called mighty Crime King. The man who did various criminal acts throughout the whole continent. Ace clench his fists.
But Y/n probably didn't know, cause she never tried to rat him out. She just disliked his freckles... Ace stood up and looked into the mirror. Never in his life had someone said they found his freckles disgusting. And if it had been somebody else, he probably wouldn't had cared. "Why does her not liking me, hurt so much?" He whispers to his reflection. He looks at a knife on his desk... Could he cut them off, or hide them with makeup? No way in hell, he's not that pathetic, never.
"Blonde hair to the waist, chubby green eyed guy, that's very lazy and chill. That's to specific. She must love somebody else." The word echoed in his head, cause damn did it make his own feelings evident. Everyone knows that he is full of fluttering damn feelings for somebody, who doesn't even want him. Falling back in his bed he takes out a lighter and watch the flame, a comfort he had found.
Would he kill somebody for his own selfish desires?.. No, he's not that low.

I will write more, I'm not gonna rush through this.

Vampire Ace x Vampire Queen Reader!!!!!
1, 2, 3, 4,
Chapter: 5
I finally published it. YES!
I stopped at a plottwist kinda, so that it can motivate me to go write, sorry.
Warnings: blood and whatever you guys been warned about before.
--------------------------------------------------
"Have you packed everything you need?" You asked, folding your arms. "Yup, and I got all the bags you think I need to," Ace said, holding up bags with his gravity abilities. "Good. I will miss you." You mumbled hugging him. "Wait, you're not coming with?" Ace asked, surprised as if you two hadn't spoken about it. "Ace, I have told you why and that I'm not. I wish you luck." You declared pushing him out the door. "But I need you, and I might not have listened to you," Ace whined. "Ace, you're dating the vampire queen. If I come with you disguised as just another vampire and you can't keep your hands off me,'they' suspect you for cheating." You explained.
"How did you get me here?" You asked Ace as he placed your bags down in your room next to his. "Well, Assistant N/n, I'd rather not travel without my advisor. I see you at my desk." Ace explained with a grin as he left. Sighing, you unpacked and then made your way to his office. When you opened the door, you found Captain Ace and the three vice-captains Cassandra, Lucifer, and Drake. "Oh good, N/n, please stand by me," Ace said with a grin. In the middle, a huge map was laid out marking the territory. The Red Blood pirates tend to be active.
"We should maybe kidnap some people from Water Seven," Lucifer suggested, moving one of the small ships to the island. "I think we should change the places we go. In the New World, we can find much more good-tasting humans," Ace explains, picking up the small boat resembling Fang. "Maybe, but the four Yonkos are there, and you are the only one here who could fight that." Cassandra reminds him. "What if we send one ship, you know to try, the Fang islands don't have any magnetism, so we're the only ones who can find them. On top of that, the islands are surrounded by dangerous rocks. And if they find a way to come through them, they also have to get through the mountain walls, and those aren't easily destroyed." Drake reminds.
"I agree with Drake on this one, what is worrisome is the fact it's Yonko territory, we're already in pretty deep shit with the government, I bet Ace's bounty it's at least 500 000 000 berries by now. Though it's probably higher because he's our captain and my bounty is 300 000 000 berries, Cassandra's is 670 000 000 berries, and Drake's 500 000 000. Together, that's 1 470 000 000 berries in total. And that's without counting the crew members." Lucifer tells. He fidgets a little on a chain necklace he has. "I don't think the Queen would like for us to make a Yonko mad without her knowing." Lucifer continued.
"Meh, I can handle the queen," Ace says with a grin. You stomped on his foot and gave him a middle finger under the table. "As you're advisor I need to remind you that the Red Line is in the way. The easiest way to get there is obviously with gravitation, but Ace is the only one who can move the ship for such a long way, even if you guys have help from the other crew members I believe you won't make it. It's also a bad move to go there by Fishmen Island as the Marines know we have to return." You explained seeing the other listening, and you continued. "And it will be much harder to call for backup. I believe a trip to the New World can turn out either good or bad. But if it turns bad, then your two's ships must have covered the essentials for us." You answered, pointing at Cassandra and Lucifer.
The meeting was long, but in the end, Vice-Captain Drake and Captain Ace, together with his assistant, would go to the New World. Vice-Captain Cassandra will head to Kyuka Island, and Vice-Captain Lucifer is heading to (Some unknown island there is).
"Captain, the Red Line is in sight." A vampire announced. Ace walked out on the deck. He wore a cover of black clothing to make sure people he knew wouldn't recognize him. "Alright, just to remind you guys, the wheater in the New World sucks. So make sure to be ready to protect us from it. Also, I might be drained after this." Ace frowns.
Ace's hands lightened up with red sparks. He focused, and then slowly, water ran away from the ship as it lifted. The crew, including Ace, you, and Drake, watched from the railings as the ship flew up. "This is a lot more exciting than when we fly over the rocks around The Fang islands." A crew member comments. The sea wasn't visible long after but replaced by the white clouds. All around the ship, red eyes begin to shine as the vampires activate their powers and watch.
The trip was long, but then the top came. It was so weird to just go over it and then be on our way down again. "I can see the sea." A crewmate yelled as we lowered.
"Are you alright, Ace?" I ask as he slowly lets the ship down back into water. He nodded slowly. He wasn't completely drained, but a little tired, were he for sure.
------
"Dragon, sir!" A revolutionary runs in. "We have spotted the Red Blood pirates just by the Red Line! In a marine spy tower, from one of our undercovers." He informs.
"Hmm, is that so. It's the one to the east of Fishman Island, right?" Dragon grumble.
"Yes, sir." The revolutionary confirms.
"Inform Sabo. He's nearby." Dragon orders.
--------
The days went on the sea, and we saw giant whales and sea monsters. The weather was sometimes chaotic, but we could handle it. I sat by Ace holding his hand lightly, knowing the other vampires weren't looking, as they were busy singing.
"This year, we lost more than we can count. The ashes we lay in the ground. Oh, this was the year of the young." The crew sings while dancing and drinking.
"This year, we look up towards the sun. And wonder where everyone's gone. Oh, this was the year of the young."
I immediately let go of Ace's hand when Drake approaches us.
"Captain, a rather big ship owned by the revolutionary army, is approaching us. They seem to want to speak." Drake informs.
The other crewmates immediately stop singing and grab their weapons.
"The revolutionary?" Ace repeats, surprised, going to the railings in the back. He activates his vampire powers to see better from the distance, and at the front, he sees a blonde man with a top hat, pipe, and blue clothes.
"Damn, he's disgustingly similar to my. . . . Dead brother." Ace mutters to himself.
"That's the chief of staff, second in command of the revolutionary army, Sabo." Drake introduces him.
Ace coughs on his own spit and then proceeds to glare at the man far away.

I really love this fic, so I'm just gonna reblog it. 🩷💜❤️🔥🩵❤️
Do I have a chance?
Pairing: Portgas D. Ace x [gender neutral] Reader Words: ~ 1 600 Summary: Ace is just trying to get you to like him. Tags: he's so. ace. / Marco just sits back and eats popcorn while watching it happen
Requested by anon [Hi! Could I request male reader X Ace where Ace is nice and adorable with everyone except reader? Ace is not toxic or mean to Reader, he just acts more serious and tough around him (...)]
MASTERLIST
Your eyes observed Ace in the distance as he talked with the others. He would often giggle, showing that wide smile that made your heart flutter as he opened that wide smile. Sometimes he would joke about something, playing offended and being way too dramatic, and it was also way too cute when he randomly fell asleep. Only you knew how hard it was not to just reach out and ruffle his hair, play with his messy black strands, maybe squish his cheeks together, and kiss all over his freckles…
All of it was to be appreciated just by far, though. Marco and the others were so lucky.
“Ah, hey, (y/n),” Ace mumbled with a light wave as he approached when you sat at one of the tables on Moby Dick’s with a book in hand. “I was wondering, could you help me with some bandages? It’s kinda tricky to clean the wounds.” He pointed to the bandage on his shoulder. He didn’t smile. Okay. It was so awkward when Ace did that. It felt like he was annoyed by you.
“Sure.” You grabbed the marker and slipped it into the book before closing it. His eyes glanced down at it.
“What book is that?” Ace blinked as he observed you set it aside.
You raised an eyebrow, looking at it for a moment, and hummed. “Ah, it’s just something I grabbed from Marco.” You took the book while standing up, observing the cover for a moment. Ace always asked you about the stuff you read or watched, so you just told him about it before he asked. “It’s about a king who searches for the fragments of his dead wife’s soul. He’s the main character, along with a guy and a girl. This other guy is so cool. He’s stoic, y’know, all serious and tough. Very cool character. The king is way too dramatic.”
Despite your grin, Ace only raised an eyebrow in brief interest and nodded with a hum. “Oh, great. Sounds cool.”
Why did he always make things awkward?
You nodded with a hum. “Either way, I’m going to put it away. Where do you want to change your bandages—”
“Your cabin?” Ace said almost instantly. You blinked a couple of times before slowly nodding, and he exhaled softly. “Then let’s go.”
Ace was terribly quiet during all of that. He was serious, not reacting so much to your jokes and barely keeping the subjects going, so you just opted for silence. If he really disliked you, you didn’t want to keep bothering him. Even so; if he disliked you, why did he insist on always trying to be around you? You’d questioned Marco about that a couple of times, but all he did was scoff and chuckle in response.
You did favors to Ace once in a while, yeah—you two were close crewmates at the beginning—, and that was never the issue, just that he didn’t even thank you this time. Ace just walked out of the cabin before you could finish speaking, leaving his button-up on your bed.
Ace had sort of told Marco his plans. Marco didn’t agree at all, but he also knew he wouldn’t be able to convince someone with a thick head like Ace, so he didn’t even try too much. Honestly, Marco couldn’t even wonder how you were feeling with all this mess because he would often catch you gazing at Ace with those dreamy eyes.
One of the things that went through Marco’s head was certainly about the amount of functioning brain cells inside Ace’s head. If Ace was too shy to confess to you, maybe he should try some tactic that didn’t involve making you fall for him and confessing to him instead. Or just anything that involved Ace being Ace instead of someone who clearly didn’t please you.
As far as Marco could remember, it started when Ace wanted to find things to talk about with you, and the fact you were around reading a few books made it easy for Ace to figure out two things to chat about: what kind of stuff you liked, and also what your type was, hopefully. Marco could remember Ace ranting to him about how you loved all the serious and Stoic characters from those books, admiring their coolness. It was a matter of time until Ace was changing into that said demeanor whenever around you, but his attempts at being serious honestly just made Marco want to hide due to the second-hand shame. Ace was so stupid. He was like a weird kid.
On the other hand, Marco also wanted to strangle Ace to make him confess to you already. He noticed that most of the crew was dispersed now that you stopped by an island. You were sitting alone at one of the tables on the main deck, reading your book.
“Oi, Ace-yoi,” Marco caught Ace’s attention. “I’m going ahead to the shop, so can you tell (y/n) I’ll already be there?” He didn’t actually wait for Ace to answer before he left, waving back at Ace with his other hand stuck in his pocket.
Damn, Marco. He could’ve at least told Ace something about that before. At the moment, he wasn’t fucking prepared to talk with you. Ace’s mind was racing as he looked back and saw you there, nose buried in that same book from the other day. You were the only one there aside from an occasional pirate that would walk by, which wasn’t even relevant. Marco really hated him, didn’t he?
Ace cleaned his throat and tried to seem cool as he walked over to the area where you were, hands in his pockets. He could do it. He was going to do it so well that maybe you’d confess to him today. The same things went over and over in his mind as he leaned back against the wall, letting his hat cover his face lightly. You probably were sleeping hugging the shirt that he left in your room. He probably looked so cool. He was so cool.
… Well, why didn’t you approach him, then? What was taking you so long?
You had noticed Ace’s presence there, of course—how could you not? It wasn’t even the first time he saw you after the day you fixed his bandages, but you still wished that Ace would finally come to thank you or ask for his shirt back. Despite having your eyes glued to the page, you weren’t reading a thing. You couldn’t read a thing.
This was already getting on your nerves. Did Ace think he was better than anyone? Did Ace hate you?
Ace jumped when the book was suddenly tossed at him. He gasped as he caught it before it fell to the ground, holding it tightly in his hands.
“What’s wrong with you?” You stood there, pointing at Ace accusingly. He had wide eyes, mouth opening and closing as he tried to say something, but it never came. You groaned, clenching your hands into fists and stepping towards him. “I get it that you don’t like me, but I don’t see the reason you keep hanging around! If I annoy you so much, then just avoid me, and I’ll return the favor!” You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose as you took a moment; the dumbass just stood there tensely, face red. “Look, you could’ve at least acknowledged that I cleaned your wounds and taken your shirt back!”
Ace finally managed to choke something out. “But I don’t hate you!” His voice sounded weaker than he planned. Shit, he was making a fool of himself in front of you again. He groaned, looking at the book and slipping it in his pocket, not knowing what to do with it.
“You don’t have to lie, Ace!”
“I’m not lying!” Ace groaned as he pulled his hat over his face to hide it. “Ahh, I fucked it all up… I’m so sorry, (y/n)!”
A sigh escaped your lips. “Ace, it’s okay, really. You’re not obligated to like me or anything.”
Ace lowered his hat enough to look at you over the brim of it. He stuttered a couple of times but decided to take a pause—he took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. “Look, I’m so sorry. I actually like you a lot.”
You furrowed your eyebrows, eyeing Ace up and down. “What do you even mean by that? Like me? Ace—”
“I was trying to be like those characters you talk about! From the books, I mean.” Ace sighed in frustration. He adjusted his hat, letting it hang over his back. “I thought you’d like me more if I did it.”
“Ace…” You sighed, burying your face in your hands and then rubbing your temples. Now all the hints that Marco dropped were starting to make sense. “Okay. Terrible choice, actually, because I like it when you’re being yourself.” Ace furrowed his eyebrows, so you nodded more. “I’m always hoping you’ll be silly and playful when you’re around me because it’s so cute.” Your cheeks reddened as you confessed it, but there was no other way to fix things without talking it out, even more after a misunderstanding going on for so long. “Just be yourself, Ace. I actually like you a lot, as well.”
Ace was pouting a little, his cheeks all red. “Can I hug you, (y/n)? Pretty please?”
A chuckle escaped your lips as you felt your face heating up as well. “Yeah, yeah, I—”
He was in your arms before you could finish saying it, hugging you tightly. “I’m sorry, okay? I won’t do it again.”
“Yeah, you better.” You patted his back lightly with a sigh.
“You know,” Ace chuckled a little bit as he pulled back; his cheeks were redder as he looked away. “Do I, y’know, do I have a chance with you now that I’m being the way you like me?”
You raised an eyebrow and slowly grinned wide. “Hmm, I’ll think about it,” you teased a little, kissing his cheek.

Portgas D. Ace x female reader
This is a modern au.

-----------------------------------------------
Me and Toxin settled down in the car. After a minute or so of driving, Toxin's smile faded. "Are you okay?" She asked, concerned. "No, I thought Ace and Sabo were the only criminals. But in Luffy's room, a whole pile of weapons was hidden under a blanket." I say as tears leave my eyes. "Do you think I can survive until the end of the week?" I ask, looking at her. "Yes, Ace has been hanging out with you for three weeks. So you probably will," Toxin answers, gripping the wheel a little harder.
Flashback
When I had walked far enough, I breathed out. I took up my phone and earpods, putting on some music. When I arrived at the grocery store, I saw a woman with a puffy light-purple dress. I smiled and waved to Toxin while walking up to her. She watched, amused as I took off my earpods. "You good?" She asked with a grin. "I am now since I'm with you," I answer, with a small smile. "Let's get what we need," She smiled wickedly. "Hmhm, come on." We quickly bought what we wanted and then began our way home. "Toxin!" I hissed, pushing her back.
On the other side of the building corner, a very famous man walked. Marco from the Whitebeard Mafia and some other men. "You're supposed to meet Ace tonight, right?" One of them asked. "Shhhh, don't use real names." Marco hissed. "Oh come on, there's no one here. Are you supposed to meet Portgas D. Ace tonight?" The man asked, unserious. "Yes! I am, we're gonna need quite a lot of professional arsonists for this mission, so his brother is coming too." Marco yelled-whispered.
"Wait, you're hanging out with Portgas D. Ace at school?" Toxin asked, surprised. "I thought you were friendless." Toxin adds as she places the grocery bags on the counter. "I thought it was weird, then I just let it go since he's been so nice. But he has me as a target, I'm doomed." I cry settling down on the couch. "Hey, we're not sure of that." Toxin tries to reassure. "Oh really, why else would a guy like him try to be with a nerdy loser?" I ask. "I haven't met him so, hard to tell. Maybe he thinks you're cute?" Toxin suggests.
"When he has all the other girls around his finger?" I ask sarcastically. "He's that kind of guy?" Toxin asked, disappointed. "Yes, and I even started to speak to him normally. So if I stop, he gets suspicious." I put my hands on my eyes and tried blocking the tears. "You won't die! I start picking you up, and if you're late, I will call you. If you don't answer, I will call the police. I'm your friend Y/n, I will help you through this." Toxin said seriously while holding my hands.
"Thank you." I cried.
End of flashback
"Virus has fixed a train for us to her place. You only need to survive until Saturday, and then you never see Ace again. It's gonna be okay." Toxin reassured, patting my back. I didn't answer. "Don't you think it's gonna be nice to get out of New Line?" Toxin asked, trying to change the subject. "I guess," I mumbled. "I heard your principal is a really creepy guy. What was his name? Oh, right, Doflamingo. Wouldn't it be nice to get away from him?" Toxin asked, hoping that this could lighten up the mood if only slightly.
"I guess, but I haven't really met him all that much." You answered. "I checked into it before, and it seems the Seven Lord schools are doing a lot of weird activity," Toxin added deep in thought.
Time skip
"You ready?" Ace asked, kindly putting a hand on your shoulder. "Yes, I am." Sabo smiled as he watched the interaction. This would be great. "All right, group 1 starts." Senor Pink declared. The first group presented their book. And then, unfortunately, it was your turn.
You, Sabo, and Ace stood at the front and put up the presentation on the big screen. It went smoothly, and since you three had trained so much, it was clear to Senor Pink what score he should give group two. "That's how a great presentation looks." He commented at the end. The lesson went on, and the others were also pretty good, except for one group.
"Shit," Ace said as he looked at the screen of his phone. "What?" Sabo asked, glancing over at the screen. On the top of Ace's notifications was a message from Sir Crocodile, who is Luffy's principal. "What do you think he did?" Sabo asked, concerned. "Y/n, we are gonna have to leave. Luffy got unsurprisingly in trouble." Ace sighed, dragging his hand through his hair. "See you later." He waved as they started to make their way there. "Okay, good luck." You smiled.
You made your way to the cafeteria. After getting food and settling down, you found not one but a whole girl group sitting down together with you. "Where's Ace?" One asked. "He's busy with Sabo." You answered, not feeling like explaining. "Speak louder! Well, anyway, we wanna know. Are you and Ace a thing?" One of them asked. "No." You state, clearly.
Ace and Sabo just arrived at the cafeteria. You sat near the entrance, so he immediately spotted you and the girl group. He pulled back Sabo and signaled him to be quiet as they listened.
"Don't lie. You and Ace are a couple." The one next to you said, Nondindwa. "We are not dating." You said clearly. Hating how convinced they sounded. "You know, Nondindwa is gonna confess to him today. And if he says no to her, then he's clearly into someone as stupid as you. And that is ridiculous." Ast, the other girl next to you said right in your ear. "Wait, um, maybe you should go for someone other than Ace." You said hastily to Nondindwa. Thinking about how Ace breaks here, once he says yes, maybe burn her alive like the arsonist he actually is.
"So you and Ace are a couple! You your just scared that he gets with her once she confesses." Ast once again said in your ear. "No, I just think, Nondimdwa has another taste in guys." You said as an excuse, not daring to tell them your opinion. "You think she's not wordy of Ace!" Ast literally yells in your poor ears.
"Ace, Y/n probably wants you for herself," Sabo says to Ace, with a smug smile. And the blush that covered Ace's face made it worth it.
"No, I did not mean it like that." You said in a loud voice to Ast. "How dare you raise your voice to me," Ast says. "You know, we haven't shown you who's boss since you're new here," Nondindwa claims, putting a hand and dragging off a few hair strands from you. Oh god, she's crazy. "Maybe you and Ace. Do make a good couple." You said sweetly. Also, adding the classic eyelash blinks. "Um, that's how it's supposed to sound," Nondindwa says unsurly. I hope Ace burns you alive.
Ace awkwardly walks up to the table. "Hello ladies, mind if I join?" NO ACE!!! Now we have to sit with them the whole lunch.
Ace has to sit next to the girls on his side of the table as Nondindwa and Ast sits next to you. I'm not sure if I feel safer with these woman or with Ace. The girls aren't even good at hiding their damn drooling over him. You glance over at the two bitches next to you and can see how they also see how the other girls drool from just seeing him. Nondindwa is clearly jealous and pissed, while Ast is irritated and slightly glancing at Ace in the same way as the rest. Ace feels pretty awkward as he wonders what he should talk with you about.
"Uh, actually I just remembered that I have some school work that I have to finish." You chuckle awkwardly.
"I can help you." Ace offers with a gentle smile making the girls snap their head at me as if you had been lying about dating him.
"No, you need to eat lunch. But, you can hang with these fine ladies." You smile backing away with your plate in hand, still some food on. Ace can't really protest without being rude, so you leave him behind with the leches. As you walk out the cafeteria you throw away your food, having lost your appetite while sitting with those girls. . . .
You walk down the hallway, of course had you lied about needing to finish some school work. What you had to do was talk to the principal. . . . Donquixote Doflamingo. You trip to his door and nervously knocks.
"Get in or get lost." A deep voice snorted with an amused tone from the other side. You open the door carefully, and glance into his office. It was decorated as if it was a kings room, and not a normal office. The guy himself sat by his desk, an abnormally big guy. . .
"Hello, sir. . ." You mumble, trying to not talk to quietly. You close the door and step in, doing your best to appear less nervous than you were.
"And you are?" The guy asks, with a frown, clearly not to keen on wasting time with you. Pica the schools night guard stood in the corner of the room.
"Y/n L/n sir. I uh, I'm beginning at another school. . . I'm dropping out of this one. Because I'm moving." You reveal, nervously. Doflamingo isn't amused at all.
"And why should I care?" He asks his grin as wide as it always is.
"You shouldn't I guess, but I need my grades. . ." You frown.
"I know that, Pica go fetch her grades. . ." Doflamingo orders. The room went silent as we had nothing left to say. Doflamingo grins and seems to be ready to ask something, but definitely to your luck his phone rings. He stops smiling for a second and walks to a corner in his office. It was gigantic so he probably figured that you wouldn't be able to hear anything. . . . but you have good hearing, so you heard snips of the conversation.
Pica hands you a folder and then gestures for you to head out. You nod as a thank you and then finally gets to leave the office.
Piecing the words you you barely heard you easily figured out that that mission that Ace and Sabo had been at involved Doflamingo somehow. They had burned down a toy factory, that Doflamingo owns?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE!!!!!!!!
The Gifter
Portgas D. Ace birthday special
Warnings: None
Masterlist
------------------------------------------------
Ace nervously stood on the deck of the Moby Dick. He glared around the ship palms sweaty and tensed. It was his birthday. Sure, he hadn't told anyone about it on the ship, but there was this one weird thing that always occured . . . .
When he was seven, it started. A gift on his birthday right where he used to sleep. It wasn't from Dadan and he hadn't met Luffy and Sabo at the time. It wasn't Garp either. But the gift was to him. The gift was simple: red wrapping paper and an orange ribbon. He couldn't read, but he showed Dadan, and she read it for him.
Happy birthday, Ace! I give this gift to you from some time and someplace else, but I hope you enjoy it.
No name, no reason to why, just a damn gift. And what was it? Right. . . . Some platform that has round circles that you can pop up and pop down. It was also made out of a strange material. He was very disappointed when he opened it, but as time went on, he found himself just fidgeting around with it to relax and avoid thinking. Or to be able to actually think. (It's a fidget toy.)
After that, every year on his birthday did he got a weird thing. He calls it, she, him, they?. . . The Gifter.
"Oi, Ace, why so tensed?" Thatch asks, leaning over Ace, an arm around his shoulders. Ace got startled but didn't show it. Truth was, he absoulutely didn't think he deseves to celebrate his birthday, after all, with his blood he automatically became a monster. But, The Gifter would come and give him something. An it was nervewracking and exciting.
"Uh, well, it's nothing. I've just been thinking." Ace grunts. He didn't want Thatch to know about his birthday, nor the mystery gift he hopefully gets this year, as well. Ace moves Thatch's arm away from his shoulders, awkwardly. Thatch watches confused and a bit worried as Ace walks away without saying anything more. Ace on the other hand was just trying to hide his excitment.
The past three years had the gifts been weird food that he'd never tasted before. Altough it wasn't the food that made him happy, it was the notes from The Gifter that said that they love him.
Dear Ace, I wish I could see you, I wish I could touch you, I wish I could hear you, I wish I could show you how much I love you. I wish so much, but wishes are wishes. Now that you're older and a pirate I doubt you'd enjoy a toy.
But I want you to know that even though our wish is to meet, it's something I can't fufill so here, take something sweet. Please have a good Birthday and year.
Ace read in a quiet tone through the first letter that he got some kind of food with. It was awefully weird and strange that there was someone out there that loves him, but like what, and why? He glances to the other side of the room and spots it. Walking over to the corner he grabs the box and opens it.
In it was food, some kind of meat filet, and a huge one at that. He grabs the envelope that laid to the side wondering if it would be as kind and loving words as always or maybe words of good bye and that this is my last gift to you, words he would fear.
Ace's eyes widens as he spots the small rock on the bottom. Now he had gotten them for some years, the letter _, is on this one. He lays down on his bed and eat cookies that he found in the box. These had a sweet taste to them, some kind of chockolate. He opens the envelope carefully.
Dear Ace, Happy birtday. I have given you rocks with letters, I belive you deserve to at least know my name. And that's what the letters spell. I love you, and I wish, hope, and imagine that you know that. - The Gifter
The letter was shorter this time, but it was enough, cause if it was something Ace had wished for was it a tiny little detail about who this is. He grabs a bag where had kept the small rocks and then start to form the name out.
(Your real name)
Ace cracks a smile and silently wonder if he ever meet you.

I was curious about why you went with a one-eyes cheese looking thing for your ‘sona?

Uh, when you imagine an eye opening from the wall as you stalk on someone. It is way more creepier with one eye in that imagination. Since two would make it kinda weird.
And having two eyes, I felt would humanize my demon a bit. Which I don't

The Fangs 2
Portgas D Ace x Celestial Dragon Reader
1,
Warnings: Horrible reader
Soulmate Au
-------------------------------
The Marines escorted Ace up Marie jois. Why am I here? Was the question Ace asked, but the marine soldiers refused to answer. They walked up on a moving road and traveled. The road felt off for Ace, though. A while later, he got transported to the holy land.
The navy soldiers immediately bowed down as a celestial dragon came and forced Ace to do the same.
"So this is my soulmate?" You asked while folding your arms. Ace felt how a ring in his ears made reality feel faint. . . . . Was his soulmate a celestial dragon.
The soldiers nodded to confirm but stayed in their bent down position.
"Transport my . . . .man, to my house." You order, with a small dismissing wave from your hand. The soldiers followed your orders, and so did Ace. He wanted to protest or well, fight. But was this his soulmate? A celestial dragon!
Ace sat in an awfully white couch, chained and waiting for, apparently his soulmate. What a nightmare. Celestial dragons are horrible. Hasn't the world hated him enough? Why would fate put him, the son of Gol D Roger, to be the soulmate of a celestial dragon. . . .
"It's shameful how such a low bastard of pirate is supposedly mine. You need to wear something that isn't rags. Ugh, I can't believe I have to deal with this." You complain the moment you enter the room. Ace, feel your judgment gnaw into his soul. He knows that he is scum but. . .
"You're one to talk! You treat other living beings as things for your entertainment!" Ace growls pissed as he had seen slaves when the guards transported him here.
"SHUT UP, humans are for our entertainment! They are ours." You hiss grabbing his hair.
"Yuck! You're really dirty." You then snort, letting go off his hair in disgust.
"I have been in a dark, dirty, cell for days. Poor little celestial dragon got a pirate, and not some shitty dream prince." Ace scoffs. Ace glared into your eyes. The tension was clear and deafening.
"You two prepare a bath for him." You ordered gesturing to two slaves that acted as furniture in the room.
"You're a pathetic person. Forcing others to be your damn slaves. . ." Ace hiss in a low tone.
"I bought them fair and square." You defend yourself putting a hand on your chest.
"THAT IS NOT FAIR!" Ace growls absolutely pissed.
"You know if you weren't my soulmate, you be killed the moment you insulted me." You snort clearly disapproval of him.
"I was gonna get executed anyway." Ace sighs, leaning back on the couch.
Two guards walk in and give Ace two golden bracelets. Two golden bracelets that will explode if he leaves Marie jois. . . . Just like Yamato's. The expression Ace had on his features can only be described as rage. . . Rage that's being held back.

It's so damn annoying. I myself tend to click on multiple videos to do that instead of watching an ad. And if I'm lucky, it disappears.
I fucking hate YouTube sometimes. Why am I seeing 30 seconds of ads for a 3 minute video?! Why does it cost $15 to go ad free?! I understand that it takes money to keep websites running, but $15?! I don't want all the extra bits, I don't care about x, y, and z, I just want to get rid of ads! .... I miss the early 2000s sometimes.

The Fangs 1
Portgas D. Ace x reader
2,
Warnings: Sad
Soulmate au
-----------------------------------
Deep down in Impel Down Ace sat chained. He and Jimbei whispered about old times. It wouldn't be long until a war broke out to save Ace. And it pained him deeply. The thought of getting executed was even worse since the soulmate he never met would meet the same end. "This sucks. My soulmate is gonna die because of my recklessness," Ace whispered.
"It's easy to go out and risk your life when you never met them, but when you sit here, you sure feel guilty," Jimbei answered with a frown evident on his face. "I don't think my soulmate would like me," Ace said out of nowhere. "And why is that?" Jimbei asked. "A lot hate, having a pirate as a soulmate, but I have one more card that would make them hate me even more." Ace simply explained, thinking of the devil's blood inside of him.
Time skip
Ace sat worried in his chains for Luffy. He was in Impel Down, and he was currently getting exported to Marineford. "YOU'RE KIDDING!!!!!" The marine responsible for the ship yelled. He smashed the den den mushi and angrily stomped away. Was it news about his brother or Pops?
Something's wrong. We should have been at Marineford a long time ago. And why are they all looking at me like that?
Fire Fist Ace died before execution. For unknown reasons. "We don't know what happened he just died." Everyone turned their attention to Luffy, Ace was dead, and they hadn't even reached Marineford yet. The den den mushi on their stolen ship had sent out the news so every Marine would know. "I want you all to continue the plan anyway. This is a good chance to take down Whitebeard." After that sentence, the den den mushi lay up.
Luffy fell to his knees. 'No,' Echoed in his head. It felt like time paused, and the world around him became blurry. Luffy couldn't hear the scream he let out. He couldn't hear anything. All the memories he had of Ace flowed like a river in his mind. He had lost the only brother he had. He had nothing. Ivan watched in horror as Luffy began destroying stuff and hitting himself. He gave himself wounds. His cry and pain affected everyone on the ship.
Jimbei had talked some sense into Luffy, and now he stood next to Whitebeard in Marineford. "Did you get the news?" Luffy asked. "What news?" Edward asked. "Ace is, . . . . Ace is, . . . . . He's dead." Luffy pressed out of him. Whitebeard's eyes widened. He had thought it was weird that Ace wasn't on the execution platform. But the damn Marines refused to tell them where he was.
"Jimbei stepped up and told how they had received the news." It was not often, but sometimes people died out of the blue simply because their soulmate had.
It was a dark war. It felt empty and pointless. But everyone fought. When the red-haired pirates arrived, it finally ended. But it was already too late. The news of Luffy being Dragon's son had made it almost impossible for Luffy to escape since he was the main target. He got away thanks to Jimbei, but not without a wound, a painful reminder of his meaningless efforts.
It wasn't long until everybody knew just what a horrible war it had been, the Revolutionary Army, Kaido, Big Mom, Dawn Island, the other pirates of the first generation, and Luffy's crew. The war of the best was a tragedy, Whitebeard's last words had made the pirate era grow.
"Why am I here?"

Strawberry pie
Luffy x reader
Warnings: None
Wholesome
-----------------------------------
I'll have the strawberries. They'll be perfect for my pie." You stood by the small stand at the market. The salesman put up and weighed the amount of berries, then handed them to you.
"Thank you, and take care." You greeted him goodbye. Walking down the road in your small hometown, you began your short walk home. You can't stop yourself from letting out soft tones of hums. Swaying back and forth in with your own little melodi just made it better. The weahter was dull, which added to a calm and peaceful aura.
In the corner of a street is the house you call home. Just like everything else with you, it has its sense of calm harmonic energy. You unlock the door and head in.
Placing your newly bought berries on the counter, you prepare to bake. Starting with rolling up your sleeves and putting on an apron to protect your clothes. Of course, you also put up your hair to avoid finding hair strands in the pie.
After a fast wipe with a cloth on the counter, you felt like you could begin. You can't help singing as you bake. It's just a habit that makes it fun. You wiped off your now clean hands that had gotten greasy from placing the dough in the pie form. It took its time, but eventually, you were finally done.
You opened the window and placed the freshly baked pie on the windowsill. Then, you headed back to the kitchen to clean it up.
"Oh." A sweet aroma of pie reached Luffy's nose. He sniffed the air excited. As long as it's not cherry pie, he'd eat it. So, walking down the street, he followed the scent. Eventually, he saw the appetite teasing pie. Without checking if anyone was looking, he stood under the window and stretched out his arms to reach.
Then he happily began stuffing his mouth with the pie.
"What. . . ." You mumble as you suddenly can't see your pie by the open window. Walking over you peak out, and below the window, stands a guy stuffing his face with your pie. But it isn't just some random, but Monkey D Luffy, the infamous pirate captain of the Strawhat pirates.
Luffy looks up at you and stops eating as he sees you giggling.
"What's so funny?" He asks, confused, temporarily stopping with his feast.
"I just have it hard to believe that the Strawhat Pirates Captain stole my pie." You giggle.
"Why, it's delicious." Luffy says confused, then he turns his attention back to the pie.
"Wait, I have cream for that." You say walking away only to then come back with a bowl.
"I can have it?" Luffy asks, excited. He grabs the bowl and just plop the cream out on the little of what's left on the strawberry pie.
"What are the black spots?" He asks, pointing at the cream.
"It's vanilla." You chuckle. Luffy ate the whole pie without much more chewing. It was actually quite cute how he licked his face off from the whipped cream.
"Thank you. What's your name?" Luffy asks, placing the 'clean' pie form on the windowsill and turning his attention towards you. He had one hand on his iconic strawhat and was smiling brightly.
"My names Y/n." You smile.
