Something like amusement curls rose-petal mouth, mischief within his gaze. Sensuality is nestled in the lines of godly visage — so much so that one wondered if he were the God of Love. Chin propped up on his fist, eyebrow arched. “Could I help you with something?”

WONDER WOMAN. ------ accepting! || @seaprofound
Tumblr media
MISCHIEF ENTWINES with abject disbelief, eyebrows arching in response to his Uncle’swords. He does not deign to his his AMUSEMENT.Surely Poseidon understood that Hermes washardly the person to talk about unbreakablepromises. After all, was it not his tongue thatcurled around lies? That DECEIT was exhaledlike air -- Apollo was the better candidate forthis conversation. He who viewed the world in grey; rather than the divine black and white.A huff of air, corner of his mouth CURLING. “Sorry, I’m not the RIGHT person to talk aboutunbreakable promises, maybe complain toApollo?”

WONDER WOMAN (2017) SENTENCE MEME
i used to want to save the world.
what one does when faced with the truth is more difficult than you think.
i learned this the hard way.
and now, i will never be the same.
where are you going?
a scorpion must sting, a wolf must hunt.
what if i promise to be careful?
fighting does not make you a hero.
war is nothing to hope for.
can i see it?
it’s beautiful.
you’re safe, and there is nothing you should concern yourself with.
you keep doubting yourself.
you are stronger than you believe.
are you hurt?
i love her as you do.
you’re a man.
don’t i look like one?
men are easily corrupted.
is it true you saved his life?
you let this little thing tell you what to do?
you can either do nothing, or you can do something.
i am willing to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
who will i be if i stay?
it’s hideous.
a deal is a promise, and a promise is unbreakable.
you’ve got to put down the sword.
is there anything else you want to show me?
this is a terrible idea.
who gets paid for honour?
i am both frightened and aroused.
you should be very proud.
everyone is fighting their own battles.
i may as well teach you how to dance.
they call us heroes.
i don’t drink.
we work well together.
now i see that you’re attention is, elsewhere.
you know nothing of the gods.
what i do is not up to you.
you don’t believe me.
what are you?
why are they still fighting?
they don’t deserve our help.
we’re all to blame.
it’s not about deserve, it’s about what you believe.
i believe in love.
i am not your enemy.
i wish we had more time.
i love you.
you can save the world.
only love can truly save the world.

I want to love an imperfect god:
A god who makes mistakes;
A god who knows sins like sisters,
Who made the queer children in his image
And looked upon his work and saw that it was good;
A god of “Judge not less ye be judged, in which case
Rain your tongues upon them like darts
Until your oppressors lie cowering at your feet.”
I want to love a god who stole me fire
And taught me to make a net;
How to put myself before others
And how to throw bricks at police officers.
A god who walks city streets at midnight
In high heels and glitter
To break bread with homeless children.
A god who displaces kings
And ushers in the winter
Once summer leaves him bored.
“Forgive me, Lord, for I have sinned,” you say,
And he says, “Ooo, tell me more.”

Ok. Just to let you all know, if you’re a skeptic, you can’t use UPGs as headcanons because it relates to an actual religion. It’s rude and disrespectful.
You can make your own headcanons, but taking UPGs from the pagan communities is a big no-no.
What a UPG is.

JYSK, plz be careful when u reblog things from the hellenic polytheist communities!! b/c the stuff that they talk about are about the relationship between them and their gods!
they aren’t headcanons!!! c:

HERMES! God of Commerce and Master of Thieves!
Hermes is the Messenger of the Gods. I meant to draw him looking younger but sometimes drawings take on a mind of their own.
Part of my Greek Mythology series! [See the rest here!]

I feel like Hermes’ title as God of trickery and thieves can be so misunderstood.
He’s less about crooks and criminals and more about helping those in need. He’s about rooting for the underdog. He’s the epitome of stealing from the rich to give to the poor.
